Hi anon!
We don't have the entire volume 4 (I believe it's missing one chapter?), and also all we have of volume 4 is in chinese. All the resources we currently have found ourselves are listed in THIS POST. They're typically updated as we ourselves discover more resources.

I recently watched ELOD and have become more than a bit obsessed with the 3L3W world (and especially Feng Jui and Dijun)! I've read Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms and The Pillow Book. But I cannot find a completed English translation of Lotus Step! I know you have a blog linked that has a couple of chapters, but I am desperately hoping you can hook me up with a finished one!
Unfortunately, there's no complete translation of Lotus Step as of yet, as far as we have been able to find. This may be for a variety of reasons.
Firstly, to be fair, the book itself finished publishing I believe within the last year or so. Secondly, it is a tremendously long book. It would probably be a tedious and time consuming process to actually finish translating it even now that the content in mandarin is finished (and would likely take years, if a translator is to begin now!). Thirdly, I know that because of Tang Qi's alleged plagiarism accusations (we've posted previously in a limited manner about this on the blog though we try not to readdress it repeatedly, and I'm sure you can also form your own opinions from your own research), many translators are hesitant to work on her novels.
Your best bet, in this case, if you wish to read this book immediately, may be machine translation, at this point. Which may be unfortunately hard to decipher and not the best quality of reading, but that's how Admin Lins read most of this book, and I think it's understandable for the most part.

Anonymous asked: what's a flower demon and what does a flower master do? i didn't read any of the books and i just happened to find your blog bc i loved lian song and cheng yu in the show and wanted to know more abt them but i don't remember their occupations being mentioned in the show!
A flower demon is essentially a flower (plant!) that has either absorbed the spirituality of their environments or otherwise cultivated a sentience. These flowers can continue to cultivate into humanoid form!
The flower master is essentially a god that commands and protects all the flowers in the realms. Typically in mythology the equivalent of such a role has duties such as making sure each flower blooms and wilts during the correct seasons, etc. etc.

Anonymous asked: Hello, I would like to know your opinion about something: Feng Jiu has not yet passed her ascension to "high immortal", do you think this would happen without problems or would it be complicated for her? (I had this doubt thinking about Bai Quian. Mo Yuan endured the lightning for her, making her have to go through a hard trial afterwards. Back to the subject, Feng Jiu has her husband's ring to protect her, but heaven could see this as a bad thing and consider it an advantage) Thank you in advance for your answer 🙏🙏
Firstly - bear in mind that likely it will be many years before Feng Jiu will have to endure her first lightnings. Not only is she very young, being only around 30,000 (for reference: Yehua's ascension to high immortal at 20,000 was considered to be very fast in a record-breaking fashion), but her cultivation was also halved at the very least toward the end of the Pillowbook after fighting and being wounded by Miaoluo.
Donghua's failsafe measure with the ring was implemented not because of any immediate danger but rather that he assumed he was going to die and therefore have to leave her something as protection rather than wait out the years and see. Therefore, there's really no telling when and in what state Feng Jiu will be when she reaches a point where she can make the ascension and take those lightnings. Given Feng Jiu's displayed independence, and Donghua's willingness to sit back and see while she tries to handle herself - it'll be possible, I think, that she could take her own lightnings when the time comes.
If Donghua does end up helping or shouldering the lightnings in some fashion when the ascension comes, however - I think, in terms of balance, Feng Jiu (and Donghua arguably a ridiculous amount more so) have really already endured plenty of "calamities." If anything, it might be more reasonable for the heavenly principles to count it as her having endured the trial of suffering first, and the lightnings coming much later.
Ultimately, though, I think the lightnings (and trials that come with ascension) have to do with growth, as cultivation also does. Therefore, I think the strength of a trial and how hard it is may depend on whether or not the individual has grown beyond what they were spiritually. In that measure, I think Pillow Book, as a story about Feng Jiu's entanglement, understanding, and overcoming of fate - proves that she has already grown.

Hi guys !! Would you guys be able to let me know if Shaowan and moyuan get brought up in vol 4? How does it transition from the end of lotus step to how bodhi fate might potentially start?
I legit cannot wait for lotus step to get fully translated, I've been going through weibo for minor spoilers and this might be even more interesting than peach blossomss. Also I miss you guys and thanks for posting!!
The primary side ship focus of this novel volume was Xie Ming and Sejia, so while we got a little bit of Shao Wan and Mo Yuan (I think just a brief mention of why Shao Wan did something in particular as she did, alongside Xie Ming, no direct Mo Yuan content), but it was those two's whose story we saw a lot in the last volume. As well as sprinkling in of the oldest Xie twin, Xie Hualou. We got more on page instance of them in the Today and Yesterday extra, when Zuti came back. She came back somewhere in Kunlunxu while Mo Yuan wasn't there, so when one of the disciples reported a fire that was suspiciously like a phoenix's fire, he went running along with Bai Qian there. Shao Wan came back first and Mo Yuan saw her phoenix fly off without looking back, so he went off after her in his dragon form. That's all there is.
We also aren't sure if the Xie twins novels will be before Bodhi Fate (I assume, they'll be like maybe the size of the extras like we got here or for Dongfeng).
As for anyone translating it, if you hear about someone doing that, send in an ask here so we can link them, if not, we are unsure if anyone will do so beyond the few chapters on the one site we have linked, given the past way people have gone about this author after accusations of plagiarism.
Thank you for supporting us since we've started this blog, your messages are always enjoyable to answer!

how can i read vol 4 full ? is it released? when can i read it?
If you can go through the hoops of Chinese ebook sites (such as this one that goes to chapter 21 of Vol. 4 for free) , I'd suggest Googling the book title if you want it in its entirety.
I, Admin Lin, read it via an unsecure site with the use of VPN as to not risk harming my laptop. And I'm not comfortable just handing out that link for it to possibly come back on me if one of you guys got a computer virus or malware as I'm the one who gave you guys the link.

"They were both left alone in a time without each other. She was yesterday and he was today. It took them 60,000 years to finally see yesterday become today. They were finally able to meet again."

To make a little announcement that is character related: Lian Song likely has OCD, please speak about him respectfully if you send any asks or anons to this blog discussing some scenes especially between volumes 3 and 4 or how he acts in the 4th volume. We want to be respectful to fans of this page that may deal with similar things he goes through in the story.

"The young man paused for a moment. "Do you know what I want to do now?" Before she could answer, he whispered, "I want to cut open your heart and see why it is so cruel to me.""

A bit of information that was confirmed about Xie Ming today when poking around the Bodhi Fate's Weibo Super Topic (no, I don't know why it ended up there instead of the Lotus Step):
Xie Ming is a phoenix, it seems likely her two children are as well.
Xie Guzhou and Xie Hualou were asexually conceived.
They are twins.
Xie Ming gave herself a c-section to get them out, without any pain medication.
Xiluo helped take care of the twins after their birth while Zuti helped Xie Ming with something.

why the three lives three worlds step lotus volume 4 seems like it is incomplete... it only has 13 chapters.
Can i get the link for the remaining chapters of volume 4 of step lotus in chinese.
#threelivesthreeworlds, #steplotus, #chengyu, #liansong, #zuti, #tltw, #volume4, #love
The one currently linked in our master post at this time is all Tang Qi had arranged with the publisher to post online at the time before the physical copies of the final book and the last chapter. The rest has yet to be released as an ebook/audiodrama. It should be coming either this month or in autumn.

As of today, Tang Qi has started to serialize the 4th and final novel of Lotus Step every day until the release day, adding up to 120,000 words (Chinese characters).
You can find the first two chapters of the 4th book here [ x ].
Because of this announcement, anons will be turned back on. If they are abused like last time, however, they will once again be turned off.

Volume 4 of Lotus Step now has an ISBN, so we should be seeing more information trickle in about the cover, pre-order, and release within the next couple of months.

Sorry for asking another question so soon but I just binge-watched the Pillow Book again and I’m actually really invested in the passive-aggressive relationship between Fengjiu and Shen Ye. Obviously they have such amazing chemistry because the actors are the same lol.
Dong Hua accuses Fengjiu of actually growing feelings for Shen Ye and I can totally see why he thinks that in the drama although I can’t see Shen Ye returning them. Is there any hint of this in the book?
It’s a mark how amazing the actors are that I ship them with the different characters they play.
Although Admin Ro is the expert in all things Pillowbook drama and novel, she's asleep at this time, but from my recall of the novel, no, there was no sort of romantic feelings developed on Feng Jiu's side toward Shen Ye. As she had feelings for "Xize" aka who Donghua is playing in this instance, who was Aranya's husband. At no point does Feng Jiu know that it's Donghua she's in love with.
But the actors are so good at their job!! And I understand where you're coming from. <3

Because of this anon's behavior, it has been decided anonymity privileges have been taken away for the time being. I'm sorry for anyone who finds comfort in approaching us using that feature but we do not tolerate harassment.
And this would be considered harassment. If you do not like the author or this series, you do not need to approach this blog or attack the admins with your passionate beliefs. Not having bad faith isn't going into someone's household and calling them homophobic because you didn't seemingly comprehend the admins.

Your answer just made it worse. Having queer characters doesn't mean the author can't be homophobic. It's even more damning because she's known to plagiarize from bl authors. I'm not sending this in bad faith. I'm very passionate about homophibia and plagiarism. Why are you mentioning other authors to deflect and make it seem not so bad?
Anon pt. 2: You and your admins: I can't be homophobic I consume bl
If it's not in bad faith, why are you calling the admins homophobic for having an opinion, while you are a person hiding behind the anonymous face, when you can't even bother to show what your url is or express in actual, factual proof the evidence you have about her plagiarizing b.l authors?
