so. more on the ‘Steve Rodgers is John Walkers’ dad’ headcanon .

John tested off the charts in every single genre of both mental and physical abilities, like strength, speed, agility, intelligence, etc. hes “constantly making good choices in the field of battle,” according to Lemar—which leads me to believe there IS serum in his blood. even possibly biological traces of it. it’s possible he was just extremely fit and smart, because that’s a thing that humans can be, but ‘off the charts’? in MCU history, you’d have to be quite remarkable to be off the charts.

hes also blond hair, blue eyes, the whole spiel. John’s patriotic, country-raised (he was born in Georgia, unlike Steve ofc—more on that later) and a veteran. those can just be independent features ofc, but didn’t he say he was inspired by Steve? (said in episode 2 of tfatws, i believe).

also, some people think John’s super egotistical. maybe because hes the son of freaking Captain America . ever think about that?

okay, now, his life—he was born and raised in Georgia, i believe. Steve likely wanted his kid to live a normal life, not surrounded by the media and the pressure of living up to being Cap, which is why he lived there. Steve put John into hiding or went into hiding to have John (I’m not sure if we know who John’s mom is, my memory just sucks) where his mother raised him—i have another headcanon that he has a really shitty step-father, but that’s irrelevant. John said in the second episode of tfatws that he never met Steve, again with the ‘he probably put him into hiding’ and then just never went to see him because he didn’t wanna make his life a legacy to fulfill.

SO. if you factor in the timeline, biological similarities, birth and life, and more, this is practically concrete evidence that it’s a possibility.

also, what if it really IS canon but the MCU just hasn’t said it directly? i mean, look at the parallels— Steve almost killed Tony with his shield the same way John killed the flag smasher (no i do not know his name), and while this could just be a show of the fact that John is Cap, but. cmon. this is the MCU, expect the unexpected. Another parallel—blond hair blue eyed main man, black ‘voice of reason’ sidekick. which pair am i talking about, John and Lemar (I <3 LEMAR) or Steve and Sam?

oh P.S. this isn’t really part of the headcanon but i wanna write more on John’s probably shitty stepdad. because i mean, you can’t be a shitty dad without having a shitty dad, right? just. just look at him. that man has daddy issues i assure you.

Peggy was not John’s mother. i dont think so, at least. and if it really is canon that Steve lost his virginity to a USO girl, then he’s done it more than once. a man like Steve is humble, yes, BUT. did you guys see him make a move on Sharon not even a day after Peggy died? that. yeah, uh, i think he did have a kid with someone to get over Peggy, maybe. as gay as he is, i have a firm belief that he has nooo idea how to talk to women. this is canon, actually. slightly.

We haven't talked about the Thunderbolts making fun of John Walker to its full potential.

John is running on the treadmill at the gym, like he always does.

You can see it on Yelene's face when it comes to her: "John Runner"

Ava hears her.

It sticks.

John hates it.

The next day John is making breakfast for everyone, Ava goes "Thanks, John Cooker"

"Ha ha, so funny, Ghost"

Alexei hears her, he thinks she's hilarious. So later when they are training, Alexei cheers him up, "Looking good, John Fighter!"

John is so done.

He can't believe even Bob is into this. They have corrupted Bobby.

"John Thinker! John Thinker!" Bob yells pointing at him.

All he did was to get lost in his thoughts after their meeting, he was frowing. He can't even have a minute in peace.

The next day no one come up with a name for him. They are just wrapping things up, Bucky just gave them the last details. He's ready for a shower and get in bed, he grabs his things walking off the room.

"John Walker!"

He stops, turns around to Bucky. There's a knowing grin on his face.

The room explodes with laugher.

John rolls his eyes.

He hates them (fondly).
