hi! would you guys be open to adding the names of the applied for characters to the app count to avoid duplicate names?

      HI BACK! we definitely understand the sentiment, but we'll have to say no to adding character names to the app count, only because we make mun names public and we don't want to inadvertently create any kind of scenario where people can snoop around— if that makes sense! if we ever receive an app with a duplicate name, we'll be sure to reach out and message people if need be.

sorry if this is a silly question or answered somewhere already, but is this a limited roleplay? like, will it end after summer or will you transition it for the fall time? looks great btw!

      THAT'S NOT A SILLY QUESTION AT ALL! we have no plans for this to be a limited run rp and end after summer. our goal would definitely be to transition the group for fall, but that's something we'll plan out in more detail if and when the time comes. and thank you for the compliment, anon! hopefully we'll be seeing you in the app count soon.

      SECRETS DON'T STAY BURIED IN LETHE. for  six  years,  a  group  of  friends  reunite  in  the  same  coastal  town  once  summer  rolls  around.  but  last  year,  the  sudden  death  of  one  of  their  own  &  the  roles  they  played  in  it  was  kept  quiet...  until  now.  the  unlucky  thirteen  are  back  for  a  summer  filled  with  parties,  pretenses,  and  paranoia.  tidepoint  is  a  skeleton  roleplay  inspired  by  i  know  what  you  did  last  summer  and  we were liars.  read  up  on  our  plot,  the  fateful  night  that  changed  everything,  and  send  us  an  app  if  you're  interested!

could you give some reasons why someone would be arguing with the flight risk?

      OF  COURSE!  under the cut is  list  of possible reasons your muse might've been arguing with the flight risk.   it might be helpful to first think about what kind of relationship your muse has with teddy before settling on an argument idea.

a flirtation gone wrong. maybe your muse and teddy shared a kiss or even a hook-up, but teddy laughed it off the next day like it meant nothing. the argument could've been fueled by jealousy, rejection, or the regret of ever falling for lethe's biggest flirt.

teddy's the kind of friend who's fun at parties, but not always the one who shows up when it counts. maybe there was a moment where your muse needed him and he didn't come through. maybe he forgot, ghosted, or just couldn't handle the weight of it. it doesn't matter. the damage was done, and it boiled over into an argument.

they were at a party. too much alcohol, too little filter. and teddy said something stupid— maybe a joke that hit too close to home, maybe he let a secret slip he shouldn't have known. either way, your muse didn't take it well, and it all went sideways from there.

teddy got under their skin from the start. maybe the argument wasn't anything new, just another round in a long history of snide remarks and unresolved tension, but maybe this time it actually went too far.

teddy saw or overheard something he wasn't supposed to. this could be your muse's secret. depending on what it was, he could've been holding it over them, keeping quiet, or just existing as a reminder that he knows. for your muse this might've been enough to start an argument.

lastly, the argument can be about something that happened between them outside of lethe. something no one else even knows about.
