The line-work was really fun to do on this piece.

I still think about the thrill of pulling your face towards mine just fifteen minutes after finally meeting,

the high of full-on making out with you across a crowded bar table as disapproving gazes turned in our direction.

The taste of your first drink on your lips,

the glimmer of your green eyes dancing as we separated,

both of us still wanting more.

I don't know how to get that version of us back,

too much has come between us,

it seems as if we are fading to black.
