Weeeelll, I wouldn't call it DEAD, because I'm still active on here...but I haven't been getting much writing done, I'll admit. I do still get requests...constantly...so you COULD send them, but I make no promises that I'll fill them in a timely manner. ^^;

Alright, I decided to just do it and see how it goes haha- So far, I only put two fandoms--the two main ones I’m in, since I know they’re both popular: My Hero Academia and Haikyuu!! BUT, there is a suggestions channel to tell me what fandoms you guys would like to see added! Upon joining, you should see the rules--read through those and hit the check to get to the main chats! What characters do you write for in Haikyuu?

Okay, I make no promises about being consistent with requests because I have so many MHA ones to begin with, BUT if you guys are willing to work with me and my perpetual procrastination...

I think I'd be able to take a stab at Hinata, Kageyama, Daichi, Suga, Kenma, Kuroo, and Yamaguchi as sickies for sure. I could write the personalities of all the Karasuno members, I think, and I could also write Bokuto, I think, but I can't guarantee how good my Akaashi would be...I think I'd write him best with Kuroo?

Honestly, though, just shoot me a request and if I can't write it confidently, I'll let you know ^^;

Haaaaaay, so I know I sorta disappeared and I sorta...still don't have content to provide, but I DO have an idea to pitch--

Anime Sickfic Discord Server, anyone? I'm thinking about how every time I get into a fandom, I'm tasked all over again with finding new people to talk about it with, RP with, whatever...so what if I just made an Anime Sickfic Server to gather everyone together?

This blog is kinda small, so I'm not sure who this'll reach, but. If anyone's interested, I may just put one together. ✨

Hey do you have any tips or starting to write sickfics, starting ur own blog?? It feels kinda intimidating lmfal

Hmm...well, I usually make sure I have a fic or two written to post for some publicity before I begin, and sometimes, I'll message other creators to make some friends in the community because those friends are really cool to have, especially when starting out! This definitely isn't the first sick blog I've run; I've been around for a while, haha.

It's important, in my opinion, to get a good idea of what you will and won't write, whether you take requests, stuff like that, and let your reader know those things so you don't get bombarded with asks you don't want to answer, you know? But otherwise, I think that once you've got a good foundation and maybe a friend to bounce ideas off of every now and then (hey, I've gone to Omegle for this before), you just sort of...jump into it and work things out as they come.

I thought interacting and posting and putting myself out there was really intimidating for a while, too, but truthfully, nobody really knows who you are behind the screen--nobody's out to judge you, and if you get big enough for hate, you may even take it as a compliment! After the initial fear of people seeing you, you might just develop a drive to be more noticed and pioneer a community. Who knows?

Ultimately, I'd just say go for it! And I'll totally be your first support and follower--send me a DM if you want!! Good luck!!

Hmmm...

@shotosanxiety and @hyperactivepuppy both do some really good Todoroki-centric stuff!! As far as other characters go, I'm not sure if they write them...that's a question to ask them, but they both write fantastically!

@justanotherfluffypillow is a multi fandom blog with a couple of MHA fics--another good author!!

Ultimately, though, the MHA community is sorely lacking in sickfic/whump authors...if anyone else knows of anyone to add to the list or writes this stuff themselves, please feel free to reblog and plug yourself/add on your favs!!

sick bakugo hc pls?

Sorry this took me so long to get to!

Okay, Bakugou...hmmm...

Well, first off, his quirk makes him sweat a lot meaning he must run at a pretty high temperature. Which therefore means his fevers would be way up there. So I feel like Bakugou definitely has the capability to become a super delusional sickie? Or at least rather loopy, and significantly subdued. With a fever high enough, I feel like he takes a total 180 and all that pent up anger falls like he's been on laughing gas.

On one hand, I feel like while he's conscious of his pride, he'll try to maintain it by all means and insist he's fine...but something about him admitting, "my fucking stomach hurts, okay?" is pleasing to my brain. So I don't entirely know for him...I think it's dependent on who he's with, maybe? I feel like if he feels bad enough he might break and admit it kinda quickly, but usually if it's like, a headcold, he'll try and power through it. Though I could also see Kirishima instilling some logic about it and getting Bakugou to open up a little easier.

Sorry if this makes literally no sense, I'm just kinda goin' with it, haha! ^^;
