The one who took this photo had just been through one of the most intense events of his life but also the most significant one so far. This is a cafe shop near Dien Bien Phu/ Van Mieu area.

Hanoi is really a place I want to explore more, because its stories go together with Vietnam history and its people. I have a thought of having a cafe shop at some point, called "Vang va Bong mot thoi" that tells all the nation hero's stories and/or all of our beautiful cultural gems that need to be preserved.

September 2023 was long, stressful, tiring but also incredibly vital, important and rewarding.

12th August 2023. Lake District. UK.

Hard to believe I've crossed the one month mark in the UK. It has not been easy to enjoy life when you don't have a job, but the amount of lessons I learnt about job search, data and overall self development in the last four weeks have been incredible. Cheers for what's waiting ahead.

I tried to squeeze in 2 tennis sessions before pausing for a while to hang out with Jasmine. I still had a memory of being super anxious and unconfident when I realized there is no partner that I can rely on, that I had to do everything myself the last time I played single after countless double sessions. Then, during the last two sessions, I realized sth new, that I am not alone, because there is still another person - my opponent playing across the net. Through winning and losing points, to me, we are not fighting each other, but help the other self recognize our strengths and weaknesses. Communication exists through ball hitting, and thus, competition can be a form of inter-being, not isolation.

Isolation doesn't exist? Perhaps so. At least I know with every breath I take until I die, I rely on the beautiful tree which gives me the oxygen and happily takes the co2 that I give.

Some photos taken on 21 and 22, Fri and Sat of April 2023. I'm lucky that it always feels nice when April comes. Perhaps it's because my parents always celebrated my brother's and my birthdays, and though it felt awkward all the time back then being the centre of attention with all the photoshoots, I never felt anything sad or negative at all about my birthday, mostly the opposite indeed. So yes, April feels like a cool light lovely wind flowing into you while you are stressfully walking to the station in the morning, unintentionally worrying about work or life or work. Love April.

Looking back at my recent entries I feel there was a lot of negativity which I want to hide and at which I don't want anybody in this world to look. Yes they are self created, yes they might be delusions. But they were and are real. A wise man said mud and lotus are the same.

My breakfast this morning. I just love having natto egg with white rice these days.

3/13/2023 Monday.

I have never thought I would make an entry on Monday or a working day. Waking up and getting ready for a working day made me realize how stressful I really am, how ill-being and suffering so obviously exists but I tried to ignore or grind through for the past 20+ years of my life. Perhaps, it's time to identify the cause and remove it? Happiness exists, my love for hr, for helping people achieve their potential, for finding insights from data exist. Peace, enjoyment, happiness.

Sunday 5th March 2023

A gloomy sunday morning but hopefully the weather will get better soon. Very happy for the trees and plants though, cuz they probably enjoyed the rain a lot throughout the week. Me, I have a little treat for myself today which is a Japanese style breakfast, which reminds me so much about the time living in Hibarigaoka Hanayashiki. Do I want to live there again? No. But it showed how low my self awareness back then is, I didnt realize I was pushing myself too hard, food was not incredibly fantastic, people spoke a different language and bonded in a different way. I should have shared my struggle with more people instead of pushing it through and also said stop earlier haha. Memorable time still! Indeed!

19 Feb 2023. February's second half is coming to an end isnt it. Pain and happiness are around but morning like this seems to plant a seed of hope that life will be good somehow.
