Kamol 醫院/K Garden 酒店附近 What to see near Kamol Hospital/K Garden Serviced Apartment

醫院和酒店附近也有不少商店呢，手術後可以在附近走走，餐廳和日用品也可以買得到。

1. 醫院與酒店之間

小巷

從酒店走到醫院，只需三分鐘步程，快到醫院前，有一條小巷，除了在最前面的幾個熟食攤檔，走幾步就會見到有 7-11 便利店了。

這間 7-11 大部份東西都有，包括洗頭水、護髮素、沐浴露、牛奶、果汁、小食等等。

醫院護士告訴我，可以直接到 7-11 買防水膠布連紗布，洗澡時可以蓋着不讓傷口沾水。

藥房

過了小巷，還會遇到一間藥房，然後就會看到 Kamol 醫院。

Chill Chill in Town

對面馬路最主要的地標是這個小商場，最注目的就是透明玻璃裏面的咖啡店 1:2 x SOL Croissant。

這個小商場還有個半露天的小花園，有樹木，有水池，還可以沿着中央的樓梯走到二樓，然後走到瞭望檯，還能看到你居住的 K Garden 酒店。

2. 醫院那邊方向

醫院那邊一直走，沿着街角轉左

各種商店圍着停車場，有超級市場 Lotus's Go Fresh、麥當勞、甜品屋 Swensen's 等等

過了停車場，就會來到一個中型商場，有屈臣氏、Boots、Daiso、Starbucks、各式各樣的餐廳等等。

3. 酒店那邊方向

過了酒店走兩分鐘，就會來到一個小廣場，裏面有兩個小噴泉，還有幾間餐廳，西式、日式、韓式都有

大型超級市場

過了 Tree Square 再走一分鐘，就會來到附近最大的超級市場 Makro，裏面有兩層高，各種東西都可以買得到

2022/01/29 回程返香港 Back to Hong Kong!

出發前一天，我如常在早上回到醫院洗傷口，之後護士便替我在附近房間提取 COVID-19 檢測樣本，同日約下午五時，我便回到醫院提取檢測報告列印本。2022/01/28, one day before my return flight, I went to the hospital for wound dressing in the morning as usual, and afterwards a nurse collected the sample for me in a nearby room. A printed test report can be collected in the late afternoon that day.

醫院也會給我是次入院的醫療紀錄，包括有關是次手術及適合乘搭飛機的醫療證明、出院總結、術前驗血報告、肺部 X 光列印本。I was also given the medical certificate on my top surgery and being fit for flight, discharge summary, pre-operative blood results and a printed copy of chest x-ray.

1) 護照及香港永久性居民身份證 Passport and HKID card

2) 健康申報及檢疫資訊申報及其 QR code：QR code 於 48 小時內有效，建議上機前完成。Health declaration and quarantine information declaration and its QR code: valid for 48 hours, do it before your return flight.

3) 香港指定檢疫酒店至少 21 日入住預約確認信 Confirmation letter of at least 21 days of stay in one of the designated hotels for quarantine in Hong Kong

4) 返港航班預定起飛時間前 48 小時內採樣 COVID-19 RT-PCR 陰性結果報告，檢測需由 ISO-15189 認可的化驗所進行。Report of COVID-19 RT-PCR negative result done within 48 hours before the scheduled departure to Hong Kong, by an accredited laboratory complying with ISO-15189. The hospital fee includes a COVID-19 RT-PCR test before returning to your home place.

5) COVID-19 檢測化驗所的 ISO-15189 認可證明文件，列印本或電話截圖也接受。以下為當時 Kamol 醫院使用的化驗所。A separate documentary proof of ISO-15189 accreditation of the laboratory that did your COVID-19 RT PCR test. 6) COVID-19 疫苗接種紀錄，至少兩針 COVID-19 vaccination record, at least two vaccinations

老實說，我在 2022/01/25 下午，突然收到阿聯酋航空的電郵，我的回程航班 EK 384 取消了，那是先由杜拜飛曼谷，再由曼谷飛抵香港的航班，在疫情熔斷機制下被禁飛。

我當時便立即上網搜查同樣在 2022/01/29 飛往香港的航班，幸好還有國泰的，便立即購買了單程機票，單程是比較貴啦。

2022/01/29

國泰回程的航班計劃在曼谷時間 11:40 起飛。我在早一天已經通知醫院，並請他們安排接送車子在早上 7 時在 K Garden 門外等候。

早上 7 時，酒店職員來到了我的房間，替我把行李帶到車上，離開酒店也沒有甚麼手續，就是交還房間門卡就可以了。然後就出發到 BKK 機場了，早上是繁忙時間，車程大約 40 分鐘。

那時機場地勤人員要核對疫情相關文件也比較多，登機手續輪候時間也比較長，我也是起飛預定時間前數分鐘才趕到機上，飛機還等候了其餘旅客好一會先才起飛。

術後、出院、及術後護理及程序 After top surgery, discharge, and other post-op care and procedures

每天早上洗傷口，並綁好繃帶

2022/01/17: 完成 7 天隔離及出院，入住 K Garden 酒店 Completion of a 7-day Alternative Qurantine & discharged from the hospital, then stayed in K Garden Serviced Apartment

2022/01/21 術後第 8 天，在小手術室以局部麻醉進行乳頭縮小術、抽吸左邊血清腫、拔引流喉

2022/01/27 術後第 14 天: 抽吸左邊血清腫、拆線

2022/01/29 術後第 16 天: 返香港

2022/01/14

術後第一天早上，我便可以吃粥，餐後也要吃藥，包括消炎藥和消炎止痛藥。接着，病房助理替我簡單抹身，並穿回病人服。

然後，護士替我洗傷口及綁好繃帶後，Dr. Kamol 便在巡房時來看我，他告訴我傷口良好，也適合之後做乳頭縮小。

之後，護士便替我拔掉尿喉，也協助我下床並走動一下，他們看着我在房間走了好幾圈才離開。後來護士也把我的兩個引流瓶子放在個紙袋裏，拿着袋子方便走動。下午還有一次靜脈注射的抗生素，再晚一點便可以拿走靜脈導管了。

2022/01/15-16

同樣也是早上洗傷口，並綁好繃帶，護士也會留意手術位置的情況，醫生就沒有來看。

術後數天活動較方便，就��做到以下事情 I could move easier few days after top surgery, and was able to do the following:

用花灑沖洗繃帶以下地方，拆掉引流喉後當然更容易，之前主要是用無酒精濕紙巾，傷口附近位置用濕紙巾也較理想 。 Showered areas below the bandage. Actually easier after removal of the drains. Before that it's mostly baby wipes. Good for cleaning around the wound too.

病房和酒店房間的洗手盤跟浴室非常近，就可以拿着花灑在洗手盤洗頭，也不會全身濕透。The shower and the washin basin were very close in my rooms in the ward and the hotel. I was able to wash my hair by holding the shower head at the washing basin, without getting wet everywhere.

小心活動也能穿套頭衣服，之前都是穿病人服，或是襯衫。I was able to wear T-shirts. Before that I wore patient's clothes or my shirts.

2022/01/17

到達曼谷後的 7 天隔離結束，早上洗傷口後， Dr. Kamol 再看我一次，術後情況良好便可以出院。

出院前，護士給我解釋抗生素、消炎藥、消炎止痛藥等出院藥物的服用時間，並把它們放在印有醫院標誌的小紙袋。

負責我的護士替我拿着各樣行李，離開 6 樓病房，到了醫院 1 樓（即路面樓層），護士替我把行李放進醫院門外等候的車子（大概是最後一次見到負責護士了）。

Kamol 醫院跟 K Garden 酒店距離步程 3 分鐘，這個車程就是一分鐘內啦：

到達酒店後，酒店職員替我把各樣行李帶到房間。酒店早知道我會入住了，也不用拿出證件辦入住手續。

我的 K Garden 酒店預約包括每天提供早餐，每天 0830-0900，職員便會把放進早餐的膠袋掛在房間門把，未必會敲門，自己到時候開門去拿早餐就可以了。My K Garden booking included breakfast every morning.

門把掛上「請打掃」的話，酒店職員會在每天約 1000 打掃房間，其餘時間也可以把用膠袋包好的食物垃圾放在門外，當然有其他需要也可以致電服務檯。

2022/01/18-2022/01/20

每天早上我都會回到醫院，酒店及醫院均可安排專車接送，我活動也沒有問題，就是走 3 分鐘便可以，都是直路，經過一條小路後便會看到 Kamol 醫院。

然後便來到 3 樓門診部，告訴護士站是來洗傷口的就可以，之後就會在同一層的治療室洗傷口。

術後第 6 天，洗傷口後，護士讓我先留在治療室床上，也讓 Dr. Kamol 再看一次傷口，而及手術位置。

Kamol 醫院一般讓病人留着左右兩邊引流至術後第 7 天才拔掉（拔引流前我都是拿着引流喉和瓶子的紙袋走動啦）。到了術後 5-6 天，已經沒有再多液體引流出來了。

乳頭縮小術一般在上身手術術第 7-10 日進行，不能太早進行，需確保乳頭位置供血充足。

術後第 7 天，我在洗傷口後見另一位整型外科醫生，檢查後，計劃把乳頭縮小百分之五十，大概是一般男性乳頭的大小。

乳頭縮小術連藥物及一件上胸壓力衣收費合共 THB 21,000。我在看完醫生後便去付款。

我在術後數天起，已發現左邊有點腫脹。裏面有少許血清腫，其實是上身手術後很常見的情況，醫生建議以局部麻醉，用一枝小針管抽取血清腫，之後如果還剩下一點點腫脹也不怕，身體也會把血清腫慢慢吸收的。

Kamol 醫院一般會安排拔引流喉，跟局部麻醉的小程序，乳頭縮小跟抽吸左邊血清腫，一同在小手術室進行。

不過當天外科醫生們都在忙着做其他手術，於是便把我的小手術安排在下一天 🙈 老實說也沒有大太差別的。

對了，不過我在術後第 8 天早上，不知怎的左邊引流已經整條鬆脫出來了哈哈。

2022/01/21 術後第 8 天

早上洗傷口後，醫院職員讓我回到酒店等候，約下午三時半再回到醫院。醫院 3 樓設有小手術室，把物品放進儲物室，並換上手術袍後，便在等候室繼續等候（裏面有好幾張沙發椅，可以調節角度躺下，還有腳踏的，我也小休了一會兒）。

手術前護士先讓我服下抗生素，小手術就在大約下次六時開始。手術時會自動定期量度血壓、心跳、含氧量。而我是躺在手術床上，不可以動啦，護士還會用紗布把蓋着我眼睛。

局部麻醉，就是把用小針筒把局部麻醉藥，注射到要動手術的位置，便會減低痛楚和尖銳的感覺，仍能感到一點拉扯的感覺是正常的。局部麻醉期間，病人是清醒的（也不用術前空腹）。

我也是有一點點緊張啦，不過那時���剛術後第 8 天，乳頭附近的感覺一般沒有這麼快恢復，進行乳頭縮小術時其實沒有甚麼不適。

醫生先進行左右兩邊乳頭縮小，然後再注射局部麻醉到左胸側進行血清腫抽吸，完成後便會把引流拔掉（引流除了醫用膠紙外，其實還有用針線固定在胸側的）。

小手術完成，包括處理好傷口，收拾好清潔好，大約到了晚上七時。護士交給我術後服用的抗生素、消炎藥，還有之後用到的抗生素藥膏，棉花棒，以及備用的紗布。

2022/01/22-2022/01/26

每天早上繼續到醫院洗傷口，並綁好繃帶。其實早上處理傷口時，護士也會在傷口涂上抗生素藥膏，而乳頭縮小術後的晚上，我還需要自行在傷口上再加上抗生素藥膏。

（一般是 09:30 至 10:30 到醫院洗傷口的，星期日那天我也遲了到達醫院，似乎 3 樓門診都沒有人，於是一樓接待處替我找了病房護士��我洗傷口）

2021/01/26 術後第 13 天

洗傷口後，我再見替我做乳頭縮小的醫生，檢查後接示傷口良好，而左邊還有一點血清腫，下一天會才進行抽吸，也是常見情況，沒有甚麼大礙。

2022/01/27 術後第 14 天

洗傷口後，護士讓我在治療室床上等着，也不用到別的地方，Dr. Kamol 來到我這邊，同樣以局部麻醉替我在左胸抽吸血清腫，接着護士便替我拆線（是乳暈切口的線。乳頭縮小用了可吸收的線，那些無需拆線）。

一般上身手術後，需穿着上身壓力衣至少 6 星期。由於我左胸在兩次抽吸後還有一點血清腫，醫院建議我穿着壓力衣至少 6 個月 🙈 之前繳付的費用已包括一件壓力衣，我也多買了兩件，合共 THB 2,300。

醫院的壓力衣在前胸位置有繃帶，在前面有拉鍊，術前容易穿着或除下。市面上的醫學壓力衣，或是束胸背心，同樣讓胸部受到適量壓力的，醫院也建議使用。

不過呢，Kamol 醫院提供的壓力衣，只是分不同尺碼，並非度身訂造。穿起來也不至感到不舒適，只是發覺兩側不算太貼身。

後來回到家後，我決定改穿束胸背心，除了一直穿着嘅品牌 GC2B（只要套頭款），還有在香港售賣束胸背心的商店，買了非套頭款式的產品。

至於乳暈傷口復原不錯，可以洗澡，也可以開始用除疤膏。我在曼谷買了倍膏舒，那是每天塗兩次的；乳頭傷口則在按下來的 7 天繼續塗上抗生素藥膏每天一次，那就是洗澡後塗上了。

2022/01/13 上身手術日 🔪 Top surgery day :)

剛進入 2022/01/13，零時零分開始，便要禁水禁食，是一般全身麻醉手術的準備。到了早上，會量度體溫、血壓、心跳，然後交給我一把簡單剃刀，剃走胸口及腋下的毛髮，之後在房間洗澡。Upon 2022/01/13, starting from 00:00, no more water and drink (hospitals call it nil by mouth or NPO), a common preparation of general anaesthesia. Then in the morning, after my blood pressure and heart rate were measured, I was given a simple razor for shaving my chest and axillae. I also needed to take a shower before the operation.

之後護士會替我在手背打靜脈導管（鹽水豆），便開始進行靜脈輸液（吊鹽水），一般禁水禁食時候也會進行靜脈輸液，補充水、鹽、糖份，也不會感到太肚餓啦。Later, a nurse did a heparin block on the back of my hand for intravenous infusion. During nil by mouth, intravenous fluid is given to replenish water, electrolytes, and sugar. Won't feel too hungry.

我是當日第一位進行手術的，下午一時，護士讓我坐在輪椅，帶我到醫院四樓手術室。手術室人員跟我核對身份和手術類型，然後便進入手術室。

然後各手術室醫護人員便會讓我躺在手術床上，並量度血壓心跳、含氧量，麻醉科醫生也會跟我聊一聊，問問我來自甚麼地方喇，接着便開始給我麻醉藥。最後記得的，就是麻醉科醫生把面罩放在我的面上，之後便發現手術完成，在手術室旁的恢復區醒過來了。

後來得知，手術時間大約是兩小時。其實剛完成手術時，麻醉科醫生已經會讓病人從麻醉中醒過來，也會拔去氣管喉，病人之後會在恢復區再休息一會兒，然後才回到病房房間。

此時有紗布覆蓋住傷口，再用繃帶圍着上胸，左右胸側各有一條引流喉，各連接到一個瓶子，還會接上了尿喉，畢竟術後也不方便移動，也不會下床或是上洗手間。

我在恢復區醒來的時候大概是 16:30，期間護士會頻繁地量度體溫、血壓、心跳。我當時感覺疲倦，半睡半醒的，剛醒來時候感覺上胸有點痛，之後很快也沒有甚麼不適了。

到了大約 17:30，職員們便把我連人帶床送回病房房間，他們會把手術室床移動到病房床旁邊，我再小心移至病房床上。

當晚，會繼續靜脈輸液，護士也給了我各種飲品，有蒸餾水（用吸管）、提水味水（用吸管），還有提子味啫喱。剛完成手術後，我的精神也不錯，一直用手機，還看了一集 Netflix 的 Pose 才睡覺嘻嘻 :)

抵達曼谷及術前準備 Arriving Bangkok and pre-operative work

BKK 機場至 Kamol 醫院，或是回程時從 K Garden 酒店到 BKK 機場，醫院都會提供接送服務，無需另外費用。Kamol Hospital provides transportation from the BKK Airport to the hospital, and from K Garden Serviced Apartment to BKK Airport when you leave, with no extra charges.

到達曼谷 BKK 機場後，便會查核泰國通行證及相關文件，然後通過海關。Upon arrival of Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK), Thailand Pass and relevant documents will be checked, and then you'll go through the customs.

離開海關後，就會看見十數個服務台，各代表好幾間曼谷隔離酒店（當時 K Garden 的服務台在最右面的 1 號）。Right after leaving the customs, there'll be more than ten counters, each representing a number of quarantine hotels in Bangkok (When I was there, the counter of K Garden was on the rightmost, that's no. 1).

負責職員會跟你核對名字及有關文件，然後帶你到機場門外的私家車，司機也可能會拍下你的照片向上頭報告。After confirming your name and relevant documents, the counter staff will lead you to the limousine waiting for you just outside the airport. The driver may take a picture of you aboard to report their duty.

從機場直接到 Kamol 醫院，到達後醫院職員/護士便會帶你到病房。以下的連結就是標準病房房間。圖片是房間洗手間內提供的物品。You will be brought from the airport directly to Kamol Hospital. Their staff/nurse will bring you to your ward room. The link below shows a standard ward room. The picture was the items found in the bathroom provided by the hospital.

2022/01/10

我在曼谷時間約晚上 11 時到達曼谷機場，到達房間約凌晨 12 時。我是住在 6 樓的房間，一直都是同一個房間。I arrived in Bangkok time on 2022/01/10 at around 11 PM. I got to my room at around 12 PM. I lived on 6th floor, in the same room until I was discharged.

2022/01/11

到達後第一個早上，就有護士進來我的房間，為我配戴病人手帶，抽取 COVID-19 檢測樣本，並會進行抽血。In the next morning, a nurse came to my room to put on a patient's bracelet for me, and collect a COVID-19 test sample. She also did blood taking for me.

一般驗血包括全血細胞計數（如血色素、白血球、血小板數量）、肝腎功能、乙肝丙肝，以及HIV 檢測（醫院/診所一般會徵求病人測試 HIV 的意願，並簽署同意書。我是在翌日簽署的）。Common pre-operative blood tests including complete blood count (e.g. hemoglobin, white blood cells, platelet), liver and renal function, hepatitis B & C markers, and HIV testing (It is a common practice for hospitals/clinics to have your consent for HIV testing. I was given the consent the next day).

我在當日下午便收到 COVID-19 陰性檢測報告。I received the report of being COVID-19 negative in the late afternoon on the same day.

住院時間當然有三餐供應（手術前後時間除外），大約是07:00 吃早餐，12:00 吃午餐，17:00 吃晚餐。Three meals are of course included during the time in the hospital (except before and right after surgery). Approximately 07:00 for breakfast, 12:00 for lunch, and 17:00 for dinner.

2022/01/12

早上醫院護士/職員便帶領我離開房間，到醫院 3 樓登記處進行入院登記，並紀錄健康狀況，包括目前服用的藥物（如有需要，請帶備平常用的男性荷爾蒙藥物，向護士查詢能否在這段時間注射藥物。我在用 3 個月一針的 Nebido 而且剛好不用在那段時間打針）、個人病史、家族病史、生活習慣等等。Nurse/staff led me to the 3th floor in the morning. Firstly, for admission registration. Then a nurse enquired about my health conditions including my medications (Bring your own testosterone if needed, and confirm with nurses if they can do injections for you during your stay. I've been using Nebido, with one injection every 3 months. Just happened not needing any injections during this trip), past medical history, family history, and lifestyle etc.

然後我便會見整型外科醫生 Dr. Kamol Pansritum M.D.，檢查後，醫生便跟我商討不同上身手術類型的好處壞處，主要是比較 O-scar 及 U-scar，最後是確認了做 O-scar 切口的上身手術。Next, I had a pre-operative consultation with the plastic surgeon Dr. Kamol Pansritum M.D.. After examination, he explained the pros and cons of the O-scar VS U-scar incision of top surgery. We decided on the O-scar one eventually.

接下來便會到旁邊的拍照室，有專人替你拍攝術前相片以供醫療團隊作臨床之用。醫院只會拍攝上身部份，不會拍到臉（一般包括不同角度，向左向前向右，還有左邊右邊 45 度）。還會照肺部 X 光。After that, I was led to the photography room nearby for clinical photos. Not your face! Only the chest (Usually from different angles. Turn to your left, right, facing forward, 45 degrees to the left and right). Also taking a chest x-ray.

最後，醫院職員會跟我再講解手術詳細一遍，並且簽署手術同意書、全身麻醉同意書、HIV 測試同意書、醫療照片同意書等文件（這間醫院一般來說，身體沒有任何大礙，手術前無需跟麻煩科醫生會面，也未必需要做心電圖）。Lastly, their hospital staff went through the details of the operation with me again, and I signed consent forms of the top surgery with peri-areolar incision, general anaesthesia, HIV testing, and clinical photos etc. (In this hospital, if you have a good past health, you may not need to see the anaesthetist or do any ECG before the operation).

���然還會處理醫院餘款（我在出發前已電匯全數金額，醫院也替我向曼谷的銀行確認了付款，我亦要付銀行手續費 THB 100），並收取收據。Of course I also settled some remaining payment (I used bank wire transfer for the whole amount before I came to Bangkok. The hospital also confirmed my payment with their bank. I paid THB 100 more for the bank charges) and got the receipt.

這間醫院裏每件病人衣服都是這個可��小羊哈哈，是開胸式綁繩的，上身手術後便會發現是很方便的設計。Every patient's clothes has this cute sheep haha.

重點來了，我在隔離期間已經可以進行手術。 Here's an important thing. My operation was done during Alternative Quarantine.

我到曼谷時候的規定是 7 天酒店隔離，酒店隔離文件也準備好了。而實際情況跟醫院聯絡人一直給我的指示一樣：到埗後作一次 COVID-19 檢測，確認陰性結果後，再下一天做可以做術前準備，2022/01/13 便可以做手術了。When I arrived at Bangkok, the COVID-19 requirement was a 7-day Alternative Quarantine. Hotel confirmation letter for these 7 days were prepared too. The actual arrangement was completely the same as what the hospital contact person had told me: do a COVID-19 test the next morning upon arrival, if it's negative, I can proceed to pre-operative preparation the next day, and do top surgery on 2022/01/13.

手術後，我繼續留在同一間病房房間，直至 2022/01/17 中午，7 天隔離完成，醫生也看過情況良好，便可以出院了（不用隔離的話，大概完成上身手術後 1-2 天便可以出院吧）。After the operation, I stayed in the same ward room until completion of the 7-day quarantine, and after seen by the surgeon. I was discharged on 2022/01/17 in the afternoon (If no quarantine is needed, one possible can be discharged 1-2 days after top surgery).

出發前準備 Before my flight

目前香港指定檢疫酒店非常爆滿，建議出發前 1-2 個月前預約好隔離酒店。Designated hotels for quarantine in Hong Kong can become very occupied. Try to book your room 1-2 months before your departure.

列印每份文份，妥善放左文件夾，方便在兩地機場及醫院出示。Print out every document you received. Kept them safe with a file and can easily show them in airports and the hospital.

先了解不同類型的上身手術，並挑選合適自己的。醫院也可能會請你拍攝上身照片，給整型外科醫生參考。當然啦，手術前醫生會再跟你檢查，並討論不同手術類型的好處和壞處，到時候要改變類型也是可以的。乳頭術小術一般會在手術後視乎你的復元及意願，再由醫生跟你商討。Firstly, familiarize with different types of top surgery and choose the most suitable one. The hospital may also require photo(s) of the upper body for their plastic surgeons. Of course, you'll meet the surgeon before the operation. After examination, they'll discuss the pros and cons of different types of top surgery with you. It's okay if you choose another type later. After the major operation, surgeons will discuss with you about nipple reduction, depending on your recovery and wish.

然後，醫院聯絡人便會跟你確認手術日期，Kamol 醫院可提供的手術日期挺多的，當然也建議盡早預約。Hospital's contact person will then confirm the operation date with you. Kamol Hospital has quite a lot of available operative sessions. But of course confirm your booking in advance.

Kamol 醫院規定完成上身手術後，需至少留在曼谷 14 天，期間會跟進術後情況，每天早上也會到醫院洗傷口。It is required by the hospital to stay at least 14 days in Bangkok after top surgery. I had different follow up appointments during the post-op 14 days. Also wound dressing every morning.

大部份醫院病人出院後會入住同屬醫院管理的 K Garden 酒店。距離 Kamol 醫院 3 分鐘步程便是 K Garden 酒店，也可以要求醫院車每天免費來回接送。Most patients stay in K Garden Serviced Apartment after discharged from the hospital. It's affiliated with the hospital. K Garden is 3 minutes of walk away from Kamol Hospital. You may also request a free ride between these two places every day.

我是覺得非常方便啦，萬一術後有需要，也可以即時到醫院處理。出發前醫院已替我安排好酒店，術後出院酒店也會知道，入住酒店時各樣會替我辦妥。酒店職員對跨性別住客有基本了解，入住酒店期間也遇到不少跨性別住客。I found it's really convenient. Most importantly if there's any post-operative issues I can get back to the hospital immediately. Booking of K Garden can be arranged by the hospital long before arrival. The hotel knew when I was dischraged and arranged all the check-in for me. The hotel is familiar with transgender guests. I met a number of trans guests there too.

當然你也可以入住其他酒店，或是到住在曼谷的朋友家暫住，跟醫院聯絡人交代清楚便可以了。Of course you're welcome to choose other hotels, or even stay with your friend in Bangkok. Just confirm with your contact person of he hospital.

屆時請留意最新疫情資訊，注意到埗曼谷以及返回居住地的隔離或2019冠狀病毒檢測規定，以確定留泰時間。Keep yourself updated to the latest COVID info. In particular on the requirement of quarantine or COVID-19 RT-PCR test after arriving Bangkok and when you return. Then you can confirm from when to when you're staying in Bangkok.

醫院聯絡人會提供的文件包括 Documents to be sent from hospital's contact person:

1) 各項醫院及酒店收費（尚未包括乳頭縮小術費用），我覺得電匯比較方便，出發前已經支付全數了，到了醫院再支付銀行手續費 THB 100。Summary of costs with methods of payment (here not including the cost of nipple reduction). I found it more convenient to pay the whole amount by bank wire transfer in Hong Kong. I also paid THB 100 more when I arrived at the hospital for bank charges.

備註：此費用包括各藥物、一件術後用上胸壓力衣，以及返回居住地前的 COVID-19 RT-PCR 檢測。出發前一天的早上到 Kamol 醫院進行檢測（我在那天洗傷口後，護士替我在附近房間提取樣本），同日下午便能取得檢測報告列印本。Remarks: The fee includes medications, one piece of chest pressure garment to be worn post-op, and a COVID-19 RT-PCR test before returning to your home place. The test will be arranged in the morning of the day before your return flight in Kamol Hospital (A nurse collected the sample for me in a nearby room after I had wound dressing that day). A printed test report can be collected in the evening that day.

2) 7 天酒店隔離入住 K Garden 酒店確認信（印有 Alternative Quarantine 標誌）K Garden Hotel confirmation letter of the first 7 days (with the logo of Alternative Quarantine)

3) 7 天酒店隔離入住 K Garden 收據 Receipt of K Garden stay of the first 7 days

備註：我的 K Garden 酒店預約包括每天提供早餐。Remarks: My K Garden booking included breakfast every morning.

泰國通行證，（疫情關係，所有入境泰國的旅客均需申請，一般在出發前 7 個工作天前提交申請，如需協助也可以將資料交給醫院聯絡人代為辦理）Thailand Pass, consists of the following documents (All traveller must apply one 5-7 working days before arrival. You may ask your hospital contact person for assistance if you need)

泰國通行證附有一組編號及 QR code，需在香港辦理登機時，及在扺達曼谷機場時，出示列印本。Thailand Pass contains an ID with a QR code. Print it out, and show it in Hong Kong and Bangkok airports.

以下文件用作申請泰國通行證，及/或，跟泰國通行程一併出示 The following documents are required for the application of Thailand Pass, and/or, to be shown together with Thailand Pass:

1) 護照，香港特區護照到泰國有30日以內旅遊免簽證（我用的是加拿大護照，也是免簽證的）。Passport. Visa-free arrival for 30 days for HKSAR passport (I use Canadian passport which is also visa-free).

2) 往返航班確認信 Confirmation letter of round-trip flights

3) 7 天酒店隔離入住 K Garden 酒店確認信（印有 Alternative Quarantine 標誌）K Garden Hotel confirmation letter of the first 7 days (with the logo of Alternative Quarantine)

4) COVID-19 保險：涵蓋在曼谷境內 COVID-19 的醫療費用，保額要有至少美金五萬元。醫院聯絡人一般會建議一間保險公司，並給你連結。網站會有不同保額選項，一般而言，最便宜的選項，就已包括保額美金五萬元。留意不是要付美金五萬元！我購買的保單，投保金額及雜費合共 THB 2,276。COVID-19 insurance: a minimum of USD 50,000 coverage COVID-19 medical expenses during your stay in Bangkok. Your hospital contact person should send you a link of the insurance company they recommended. There're different plans, usually the cheapest one should contain the USD 50,000 coverage as required. But not paying USD 50,000! I paid THB 2,276 in total for this insurance.

5) 出發曼谷 72小時內 COVID-19 RT-PCR 陰性報告（可以到政府的社區檢測中心，旅行用的檢測收費 HKD 240，建議先預約檢測時間，完成檢測後會在 24 小時內收到電話訊息，（我預約了 2022/01/08 早上 1000 進行檢測，當晚 2000 左右便收到陰性報告，可自行列印，緊記以彩色打印，兩頁兩張紙，也可於翌日到同一間檢測中心免費領取報告 community testing centres

6) COVID-19 疫苗接種紀錄，至少兩針 COVID-19 vaccination record, at least two vaccinations

疫情有關返港文件 Documents required for returning to Hong Kong

1) 護照及香港永久性居民身份證 Passport and HKID card

2) 健康申報及檢疫資訊申報及其 QR code：QR code 於 48 小時內有效，建議上機前完成。Health declaration and quarantine information declaration and its QR code: valid for 48 hours, do it before your return flight.

3) 香港指定檢疫酒店至少 21 日入住預約確認信 Confirmation letter of at least 21 days of stay in one of the designated hotels for quarantine in Hong Kong

4) 返港航班預定起飛時間前 48 小時內採樣 COVID-19 RT-PCR 陰性結果報告，檢測需由 ISO-15189 認可的化驗所進行：醫院費用已包括返回居住地前的 COVID-19 RT-PCR 檢測，出發前一天的早上到 Kamol 醫院進行檢測（我在那天洗傷口後，護士替我在附近房間提取樣本），同日下午便能取得檢測報告列印本。Report of COVID-19 RT-PCR negative result done within 48 hours before the scheduled departure to Hong Kong, by an accredited laboratory complying with ISO-15189. The hospital fee includes a COVID-19 RT-PCR test before returning to your home place. The test will be arranged in the morning of one day before your return flight in Kamol Hospital (A nurse collected the sample for me in a nearby room after I had wound dressing that day). A printed test report can be collected in the late afternoon that day.

5) COVID-19 檢測化驗所的 ISO-15189 認可證明文件，列印本或電話截圖也接受。以下為當時 Kamol 醫院使用的化驗所。A separate documentary proof of ISO-15189 accreditation of the laboratory that did your COVID-19 RT PCR test. A printed copy or a screencap on your phone are accepted. The link below is the laboratory used by Kamol Hospital when I was there.

Actually easier after removal of the drains. Otherwise baby wipes helped a lot. Good for cleaning around the wound too)

💵 沐浴露、洗頭水、護髮素、止汗劑、 潤膚霜、髮泥、剃鬚用品（我在術後數天雙手活動較方便，也會在洗手盤拿着花灑洗頭，醫院和酒店房間的洗手盤跟浴室非常近）Body wash, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, body lotion, hair clay, shaving products (I could move easier few days after top surgery, and wash my hair by holding the shower head at the washing basin. They were very close in my rooms in the hospital and the hotel)

衣物（ 住院期間，每天都會有一套病人衣服。要帶備數件非套頭上衣，我在上身手術後數天雙手活動較方便提高，才能穿套頭衣服）Clothes (I got a set of patient's clothes every day during hospitalization. Good thing I brought a few shirts. I could only move my arms better and wear T-shirts few days after top surgery)

💵 小包洗衣液（我在酒店對面的自助洗衣店自動販賣機購買）Sachets of laundry detergent (I bought some in a vending machine in the self-service laundry opposite to the hotel)

泰幣（醫院可能有剩餘款項/銀行手續費要付，乳頭縮小術費用為 THB 21,000，此費用包括一件免費的上胸壓力衣，我也多買到兩件合共 THB 2,300。外賣及叫車是可以用手機應用程式 Grab，就是用信用卡或支付寶，我在數天觀光裏，也曾無法用 Grab 找到車，乘搭了幾次的士）Thai baht (remaining hospital fee, bank service charge, nipple reduction costs THB 21,000, I bought two more chest pressure garments for THB 2,300 in total, which included one pressure garment, few taxi trips when Grab couldn't find any cars while usually cars and deliveries can be done on Grab with credit cards or Alipay)

最後，還有一些讓我在超過一個月在外，包括 21 天香港酒店隔離，保持愉快心情的物品：墨水筆用品、毛絨公仔、手提電腦、書本等等。Last but not least, something to keep me cheerful during this trip over a whole month, and to survive the 21-day hotel quarantine in Hong Kong: fountain pen set, plushies, laptop, and books etc.

護理傷口用品 Wound care products

💵 防水膠布連紗布，問過護士後，蓋着傷口便可以淋浴了（護士也是叫我到 7-11 買，醫院跟酒店中間有條小路，很近的就有一間 7-11，我買了 SOL Plus 大碼，整張膠布 6 cm x 10 cm，紗布部份 1.25 cm x 2.75 cm，要幅蓋整個乳暈這個大小比較適合）Waterproof and transparent with absorbent pad, after confirming with nurses, may cover the wounds and have a shower (Nurses told me to get them from 7-11. There's a lane between Kamol Hospital and K Garden, with a 7-11 there. I got SOL Plus' size L. That's 6 cm x 10 cm, with pad size 1.25 cm x 2.75 cm. This size covers the areolar and nipple nicely)

💵 除疤膏，視乎傷口癒合，留意護士指示，一般術後 14 日，並且是拆線後便可以開始使用。Scar gel (Depends on wound healing and nurses' instructions. May start apply scar gel since post-op day 14, after removal of stitches)

Grab 可以在東南亞地區使用，但不包括香港，在香港打開 Grab 只有顯著空白頁面。K Garden 大部份住客都會使用 Grab 買外賣，酒店大堂裏有張專門放外賣的桌子，Grab 都是無接觸送遞，送遞員會在 Grab 訊息一直跟你聯絡，到了便可以到大堂取食物。Grab is an app used in Southeast Asia. Can't use Grab in Hong Kong. Will become blank when you open Grab in Hong Kong. Most guests order food delivery with Grab. There's a desk in the hotel lobby for this. It's always contactless delivery. Grab delivery riders will keep you updated on the messaging box on Grab. Just go down to the lobby to pick up your food when it arrives.

我有其中一張信用卡曾短暫無法付費，如有可多帶一張信用卡，並預先輸入資料作後備（可以在出發前多繳付信用卡卡數，並可以確保不會超出信用卡簽帳金額）。One of my credit cards couldn't make payment for a while during this trip. Good to bring an extra credit card if you have, and enter the card details beforehand (I transfer extra money to my credit card beforehand too. To make sure I wouldn't exceed the credit limit).
