“Is that what we’re calling it now, Freddie? But yeah, I’d love one.”

In front of a vending machine, Freddie pressed the fourth, second, third, and first buttons in that order causing an error signal to appear. Pushing down the second button again to change what was listed to the word sale, he went ahead and selected the coke he wanted free of charge. Leaning down to pick up the bottle from the take-out port, he stood up as he felt someone behind him. Without turning around, he turned the cap to hear the fizz, “It’s retribution. Want me to get you one?”

I don’t think you’re the only one who feels that way, trust me. I guess you can’t wait until St. Patrick’s Day rolls around then, huh?

Valentine’s was alright and all, but I prefer when my holidays have a little more drinking and partying and less of that couple stuff. It’s not my thing. Glad it’s over.

MASON:

“The top 100 gets old. There’s only so much sorry and jumpman I can handle for one night.” he shook his head, laughing. “But Grantwood really put on a show.” he said, putting his phone away and finally danced her way, staying close but not making any effort to touch her. “That’ll be a resolution of mine though; stop underestimating this town so much.” he rolled his eyes playfully.

“I feel you, I do. It gets a little ridiculous at times.” Tori nodded, finding his words true. “That’s why they call him the king,” she joked, her face finding solace in her hands briefly. “That was so dorky, pretend that never happened.” Taking notice of their proximity, a small smile shaped her lips as she looked up at him. She had to admit, she expected a little more from him and her mind rambled with curiosity as to why he didn’t try anything. “Oh, really? I can’t wait to see that fail within a few hours.” She smirked, playfully and continued to dance.

MASON:

While Mason was singing along to the song, he pulled his phone out, immediately snap chatting Tori dance. He couldn’t pass up the chance for them to laugh about it in the morning. “They’ve been playing nothing but bangers tonight. I’m surprised.”

Tori giggled at him singing, finding herself in their usual situation as always. “Why are you so surprised?” she asked, hair swinging as she shimmied closer to him. “Have faith in this town when it comes to music, Mase.”

“I love this song!” The blonde raised her arms above her head, hips swaying to the beat as she looked at the person in front of her. So far, it was a good night. Being able to enjoy herself after a long, hard year was her number one priority. “Don’t you just love this song? I mean, yeah, I’ve heard it about fifty times in the last week but it’s still a banger.”
