I swear I’m using all my energy just to hold my phone and write. I barely ever get up anymore because I’m scared of fainting and hurting myself. Food has become extremely rare and expensive. People have started dying of hunger.

We’re still able to survive thanks to donations. We buy food by the kilo. Rice, or lentils, or, when a miracle occurs, flour. One kilo for ten people. For a whole day when we’re extremely lucky, but we rarely are. We go days without eating. Rice and lentils make my stomach hurt to the point of collapsing, so I literally can’t eat unless we have flour, but that’s the most expensive thing now.

This is a drawing my friend made of me and my sister Soso, who is only four years old. We are part of a family of ten living in northern Gaza where the situation has been the most dire since the beginning of the genocide. Aid hasn’t entered the strip for weeks and all that’s left is insanely expensive. On top of that, we have to pay rent to avoid being homeless, we have many kinds of medicines to buy because we’re all sick, and Chuffed, PayPal and the bank all take big commissions before I receive any amount. So I have to keep asking for your help. I have no other choice, I can’t get a job, everything is destroyed.

Today I took two midterm exams for my engineering degree and I was so out of it, so hungry, exhausted and stressed, that I gave wrong answers to the most obvious questions. It’s been eating at me all day, I’m so frustrated that this is my life. And then we all rejoiced for the ceasefire only for the bombs to start raining again within a few hours. When will it stop? I’m so tired…

Please help, I swear I’ll be thankful for anything. If you can’t afford to donate, then please at least share and I won’t ask more of you. Please.

Rawan and I have been messaging each other for quite some time so I can vouch for her validity (which is already sad enough to say as is)

Please help. Prices have gone up like crazy due to the blockade. We risk our lives anytime we leave the building and come back empty handed because everything is too expensive. We barely have enough food to last until the end of Ramadan.

My displacement bag is packed. We could need to run at any moment and what will we do then? Where will we go? How will my sister Soso handle sleeping in the streets and going hungry again?

Now we have been away from our city and our beautiful home for 9 months. We have lost our house that my father built stone by stone and he worked 24/7 to build this house. But the occupation destroyed it, and no house remained in my beautiful city remained intact.😭💔💔

We are now living in a tent or semi-tent, which does not protect us from the cold of winter or the rain. Our lives are very difficult.😔😭

Thanks to your donations, we have been able to buy food and flour, and now I am asking you for help to buy a tent that will protect us from the cold of winter. We do not know what it means to sleep because of the extreme cold.🥶
