This has honestly been sitting in my WIPS for the longest time and wanted to do text alongside it but didn't know what to put so it was just left sitting, that was until the second trailer came out with that little tag line and I was like AHA! Thanks trailer!

Idk what I was going for exactly other than I wanted it to be abstract and spectrally looking, like a page you’d see from scary stories to tell in the dark. I hope I hit that kind of vibe and then finalized this by changing the color scheme to match the feel of the new trailer.

No this isn't a PSA about drugs, just my experience I had one time when I took too many edibles, no I didn't hallucinate this but did feel like I was in that movie "everything everywhere all at once" and had one of those massive weight of existential dread flying through my thoughts at a rapid pace, which took a day or two to get over completely, not fun!

And drawing a skeletal astronaut was the best way my brain could convey that for a drawing.

I still take them, shit's chill 90% of the time, don't let this put you off.

Yes I know the song linked is about far harder substances but I just like the song and it reminds me of that time!

Felt the need to update on my hiatus or more so inform that one is even in effect, I didn't want to admit that I have felt out of touch with my work and making pieces as a whole for a good while now. I am in the early days of a new career and any of the free time I have I just want to spend with my friends and loved ones and also been trying to further my studies, so my once active hobby of art is very much in the back burner.

I still find time to chip away at things but I'm not to sure when a next 'full finished' piece will come about and will probably be very sporadic. So In the meantime instead it will most likely be mainly observational drawings and sketches both digital and traditional mediums as to not become rusty and so it's less of a ghost town here!

So definitely not a gone, never will be a gone, just different.

Why didn't I just make a Spotify playlist? idk don't like making public Spotify playlists I originally wanted to make a weird little webpage for the playlist and future playlists of any characters I dig as well as my own characters, Little animation for the artwork and just a cooler playlist display in general but the amount of free time I have has dropped significantly for experiments like that. Maybe in the future though!
