Ah wait-" she paused seeing they were only kids "Damn Thats kinda fucked up thought nothing new really" she floated lightly up towards someone she suppose was a adult "Hey Snow white!" she called out to Seance with a wave "Whats up, kinda fucked to let kids fight until this point, I can see you are a shit mom" Treat commented without even thinking "Little skeleton one really is fucked up by you huh? Seems like the little orange one is sane enough to see through your bullshit"

"Is that really how you speak to a mother whose child has just been injured?" Her magic instantly surrounded the small pokemon. "I think you need to leave." She huffed.

With Treat out of the way, Seance quickly turned back to Silas. The pup was shakily sitting up, his arm mangled and bleeding from the attack. You could see a clear bit of bone visible.

"Oh, my poor little fox." She said sweetly as she picked him up. "Come here, I'm here now. You'll be okay."

It was more than a scratch, and she knew that. After examining the damage, her gaze snapped towards the pup.

"Are you actually an idiot? I said to attack the girl, not him! How the hell am I supposed to complete requests if my poor little fox is injured?" He didn't seem very remorseful for his actions despite the scolding he was receiving. He just gritted his teeth and looked away. "I guess you'll have to take over his work."

They loudly barked his name as they watched Rue run off. Their attention quickly returned to Silas. There was a look of pure rage on the older pup's face.

He quickly rushed at Silas and slammed him down. Silas let out a yelp of terror as the pup loomed over him.

"You can never do anything right, can you!? YOU ALWAYS GET IN THE WAY, YOU STUPID FOX. I don't even know why I bother with you." He growled.

"It's what you deserve." The longer he stood over him, the more his claws dug into Silas' neck.

"You're not sorry. YOU NEVER ARE." "I should just do everyone a favor and get rid of you now." The pup didn't wait for a reply and instead made a lunge towards Silas. "DIE FOX."

You could hear the crunch of bone as the older pup tore into his flesh. Even as the screams for mercy went on, you couldn't help but notice something slinking its way out of the shadows. It oddly resembled Silas.

The murky void dripped off it as it curiously watched the scene. The older pup was still ripping and tearing at Silas.

Instead of waiting for the cries of terror to subside, it instantly ran forward, determined to protect its look-alike. "STOP HURTING ME."

Seance let out a tsk of annoyance as she watched on.

A spirit rushed forward, impaling the murky creature. "UGh, Why do I always have to baby you two? LEARN HOW TO FUCKING BEHAVE."

"I don't care about your stupid little squabble. You're damaging my property, you idiot."

"Raising them is far too much work, I think I've made up my mind." She stood up, before looking down at Rue with annoyance and disintrest. "You should really learn some manners because well..."

"I could have used such a cute face to my advantage, But I guess some things just aren't meant to be, right?" She gave a chuckle before she gestured to Rue.

"I'll just feed the scraps to the other pups later. So, go on, don't be shy, give your packmates something to eat. I'm sure they're starving." The ghost scoffed while walking away. As soon as she did the mysterious pup quickly jumped up and approached Rue. They began to slowly stalk forward, threatening to pounce on her at any moment.

This seemed to break Silas from his silent daze, and without much thought, he rushed in front of Rue and placed himself between her and the other pup. Even though he was shaking, he stood his ground, letting his own little growl out as a warning. He didn't want anyone to get hurt because he got caught doing something he shouldn't have done, It wasn't fair to her. She didn't deserve to die.

"She is not food, leave her alone!" He yelled while he gently nudged Rue farther away from the aggressor.

Neither of them looked pleased with the other. These types of fights were nothing new to them. They often butted heads when it came to the things Seance asked of them, Silas never liked how the pup blindly obeyed her and they certainly never liked how Silas didn't listen. Angrily the Eevee began circling around him, thankfully their attention was no longer on Rue but on Silas himself. If they wanted to get to her it was obvious they were going to have to get passed him first. And well... that was never a problem considering how weak and timid Silas was in comparison. He was always quick to back down once things got ugly.

"Move fox!" They barked out again, this time in something more understandable, but no matter how they moved Silas kept her behind him. "Flower fox, you should leave. Please." He quietly said, whilst giving her another nudge back. "Mother wants to make you food, it is not safe anymore. Please go."

Silas seemed very comforted by her response, it wasn't often someone made such a big promise to him. Usually when his fellow Zorua's made such promises they quickly broke them. Maybe it was the fact Rue was a stranger... or maybe it was that he was extremely naive but he trusted her word. Shakily he stood back up, this time he looked much more confident. However, as soon as his starting word left his mouth his ears perked up. He heard... something. Someone, he knew someone had been lurking around. But he never expected it to be her so soon.

Silas quickly froze in fear... he wasn't supposed to be out here. He REALLY wasn't supposed to be out here. The last time he was out here he ended up battered and bruised, barely able to let out a plead for mercy. Even so, he turned to the familiar figure who had approached him. It was his 'Mother', Seance. Though she smiled at him, he knew that expression was one of pure rage. She was beyond angry, he was just thankful Rue was present... that was the only thing keeping her at bay for right now.

The ghost loudly scolded him. {"Did you not learn anything? Did the last time really not get it in your head? You really are stupid."} She scoffed before, waving a hand at Silas. {"I'll deal with you later."} Seance seemed thankfully disinterested in him, she wasn't going to waste her time on a lost cause. After all, no matter how many times she corrected him he always did the same things. Over and over again, never learning.

"Why are you meddling with my child? Do you locals not learn to leave us alone?" Her accent was much more apparent than Silas' however... unlike him. Her sentences were much more well put together and clear, "Actually." She cheerfully hummed.

"Tell me little one, do you have any Zoura in you?" She studied Rue for a moment before letting out a chuckle. "Well, I don't think that really matters with a pup as beautiful as you." Easily she knelt down beside Rue. "So... let's get to know each other, hm?"

"Is she around here somewhere? Are you an orphan? Someone as cute as you should watch out, I heard there's an absolutely gorgeous fox around here who loves to adopt little stray pups like you~ If you aren't careful she might just snatch you up for her own." "Though I wouldn't blame her for doing so," She reached out to stroke Rue's hair with her claws. Her touch felt more chilling than anything, "You have such beautiful and fiery hair and... Oh! Honey-coloured eyes. You're so gorgeous, I don't have one like you~" She thought for a moment, muttering to herself. "Though... I already have six pups. Perhaps I could replace one... yes. I'd get rid of my annoying little fox but." She sighed, "I need him! He's too good at killing things with that illusion of his. Maybe pup #2 or #3... hmm... oh yes... #2 is perfect."

→ Seance, The Mother of Zoruas is now available for asks. However, she seems more interested in Rue at the moment. → Silas is unresponsive for now... another pup has been brought along with Seance.

Silas despite the fear peeked an eye out from under his paw, he hadn't noticed Rue approach him but he didn't seem very bothered by it either. Her calm demeanour and non-threatening posture seemed to put him at ease, or at ease enough to look up at her. Even so, he still stayed low to the ground.

"I will talk... if you promise." He ducked his head back down, this time without his paws covering his face. "Mother does not like when others ask us questions. She gets very mad, the little ghost always tells her when we say things we should not. I do not like the little ghost." He muttered, before looking away. "I am... alright. Just scared."

He wasn't completely sure what she meant, but whatever it was it didn't seem very good. He couldn't help but notice her reaching towards her bag. In response, he let out a soft and low growl.

Teeth bared, Silas nervously backed away from her. Despite the sudden aggression he looked more scared than anything.

The tiny fox loudly began to ramble, it seemed like he was reciting off some type of script. Almost as if this was information he was fed and told to say when faced with questions. Eventually, he just ducked down with a whimper and began another attempt to hide himself.

"I do not want to get hurt again! Please do not tell!"

Rue: Having been out here previously, she looked over at the sounds of Silas struggling to squeeze through the hole in the fence. Given the noise he made upon pulling free, she hoped he didn't hurt himself...

She approached to speak, but not too close. "Are you alright? It didn't hurt to force yourself through there, did it?"

Silas perked up at the sight of a Vulpix, a fellow fox? And a hybrid? Maybe they were a local from the area? Nonetheless, he looked excited to see her. So much so that he appeared to be completely enamoured with the color of her fur.

"It is warm and nice," He happily sat up from his previous position, it seemed as if he almost wanted to wander over to greet her but he kept the distance between them. "You remind me of Winter. He is the oldest, he takes care of us when we are hurt. I think he would like you a lot, he said he used to have many tails, much like you. Then he misbehaved a lot... now he only has one." He gave a sudden head tilt puzzled by her height, were Vulpix normally this small? Even he was a good amount taller than Rue and he was considered the smallest Pokemon on his team. "Urr. But... You are much smaller than him."

"That is why I got stuck... I dug that... A very, very long time ago." The fox's ears flattened further when his mind drifted back to the idea of evolution, he'd been avoiding it for years now. He had passed that evolution level a while ago, hadn't he? "I do not want to evolve but..."

"I know the word in Pokemon but I cannot say it very well." He muttered, putting his paws down. "Mother wants me to evolve so she took it... but I do not want to..."

"I cannot stop it." He sighed before looking away, he seemed sad once again. Thankfully, he was much more comfortable around Rue than he was the previous Pokemon. "Sorry... I am talking alot. It just means I can not get out of the fence very well anymore. It did not hurt... I would not have noticed anyway. A few scratches... is nothing... Mother does worse."

"I am not sad." he repeated giving a tiny puff of annoyance. But, whatever he was saying it clearly didn't match that statement. Perhaps he was just using the moment to rant, afterall he knew no one could truly understand what he was saying.

The fox crouched back down upon realizing Edin was still present, however, this time he seemed much calmer.

{"I have a family, I have a mother. I have a home."}

He gave him a confused look, "Last time I saw Ma?" The fox seemed to take a moment to think about Edin's question but he looked unsure at best. "I... do not... know."

{"She didn't want me."} Despite the depressing statement there was a sudden shift into cheerfulness as he began to ramble in Girarune. He happily swayed while he spoke to the Meowstic.

{"But Mother says if I'm really good she'll let me see them and I don't even have to be using my Illusions!!"} He wiggled happily at the possibility. "I do not get to see them a lot."

{"Mother makes me pretend to be her around them"}

{"But... It kinda just makes me sad because Ma... When she looks at me, She... looks at me with so much HATE.}

"I do not know why..." He sunk down once again, burying his face into his fluff. His words were very quiet and muffled this time around.

"But- ..." Silas quickly became sad when the realization of what he was saying hit him... The fox gave a sigh as he fell silent.

He didn't feel like talking about this anymore... Even so, his gaze wistfully drifted back towards the sky in an attempt to lighten his mood. The sight was mesmerizing but the uneasy feeling that Edin's looming presence caused persisted. Was he just another reminder of the past here to haunt him? Or simply a glimmer of freedom here to mock him? Whatever it was... You couldn't help but notice he was suddenly ignoring your existence. Not out of hate but rather the denial to acknowledge that part of his life ever existed.

Edin freaks out when the little fox starts to scream.

I'm not gonna hurt you… I'm just wanna… visit you. Rimi and Noelle did, so why wouldn't I?

Silas(?) is still very nervous despite Edin's effort to calm him down. He also speaks in a language unknown to Edin. Even Rotie is not able to translate that. However, Edin heard the words "Noelle? Noe?" and...

First of all, I'm not Noelle, I'm just her friend. Second, let me explain... When I was in the different universe with friends, I saw Rimi with purple-haired girl and of course I saw...you? I think this girl must be North, isn't it? And then I asked Noelle about you.

He told everything about him, however only the moments from ten years ago.

And suddenly, he remembers something... The thing Noelle told that he doesn't want to tell this fox.

I'm here just to say hello... But... you're here, alone. No friends. No family. No one to support you. Only me and you for now. Can you remember, when the last time you saw "them"? I think it's been a while, hasn't it?

Edin can understand Silas' Giratune after Noelle's name is mentioned by him.

"Its alright~ I'm not going to hurt you- Or do you already understand that by chance? I'm sorry... Im afraid I can't quite understand what you are saying..."

"I like them alot, They keep me safe." He said quite plainly, not elaborating further on what he meant.

"Mother said I am too weak to fight them... and I am not allowed outside unless she says I can be." He gave a nervous look back towards the fence almost as if he was expecting her to be lurking around. He obviously wasn't supposed to be on this side of it "...She scares me." He said in a sudden hushed voice. "She would like you... you should go before she finds you, you will be stuck here too." He gently nudged Sammy away from the fence. "She likes new pups, please go."

→ Silas insists Sammy leaves, it's not safe for Zoruas here.

Inari: Little one, I’m afraid I don’t understand what you’re saying. Are you alright? Do you need help?

The presence of a much smaller Pokemon seemed to ease his panic, however, the fox appeared a bit disappointed at this realization. Seems his questions went unheard unfortunately... He gave a sad sigh as he looked away. Though currently focused on the grass his gaze nervously shifted around, all while he searched for the proper words to communicate with the mew.

It had been a while since he spoke Pokemon... but, It shouldn't be too hard right? After a long moment of silence, he finally gave a brave inhale as he spoke up once again.

Even if his words were a bit rough and oddly pronounced you could understand him much better now. His ears quickly flattened once again, "I... was... asking a question?" Silas seemed a bit puzzled at the offer of help, he was unsure if he'd done something worrisome, well, apart from his initial panic. "Did I do something wrong?"

(@ask-the-shiny-pokemons) While exploring the Keepers universe, Edin has some eyes on Silas(?) as he proceed with caution because he might be careful of tricks.

"Hey...? You're Silas, right? I'm Noelle's friend. Where's your friends? Family? I mean besides her of course..."

Nervously the fox began to turn around fearing for the worst... She hadn't caught him already, right? He just got out here she couldn't have noticed yet? Oh... oh no. Who is that-?!

The tiny fox let out a shrill shriek of terror upon seeing Edin.

Oh... seems you've scared the little fox.

After a moment of franticly looking around for somewhere to hide and seeing absolutely nothing he resorted to cowering in fear under his paws. The poor pup was shaking, his tail was tucked in a feeble attempt to hide himself under it... though his lack of a tail seemed to prevent this.

...This very obviously wasn't the same Silas you knew, not the one from the past or the future. He was much more timid, skittish and scared.

Something seemed to catch his attention, however... Did they just say his name...? Not the name everyone called him, his actual name. Out of curiosity he finally peeked an eye out from under his paw.

He seemed to be speaking oddly... something familiar but not quite. But it was clear it was neither Pokemon nor Human. He continued talking completely unaware of the language difference.

Whatever he was saying... you could only make out a few words. Even as he continued to ramble on all you could understand was the occasional sad repeating of, "Silas?", "Ma?" and "Noe?"
