I need help.

As you guys know, I am and live in Venezuela. My family is colombian, which means most of my relatives still live there. Seeing them means travelling and right I need to do it. My grandma on my dad’s side suffers from dementia and this could be my last time to see her before she stops recognizing me altogether. As it is, she already struggles with names and mostly just remembers my dad’s and his sibling’s names.

My dad is planning on traveling to see my grandma at the end of this month, and I have been putting off doing this because I’ve trying to do some work on the side, but nothing has panned out so far. 

I hate having to do this, but I have no other option if I really wanna see my grandma. There are other expenses I am having to cover right now, like some doctor’s appointment and stuff like that, but my main objective is to visit my grandma when my dad goes see her.

So, if you guys are in the position of helping me by donating, I would appreciate it and be grateful for it. Anything you can spare wil be valued.

I don't like 'Luke was right' takes for PJO. Percy and Luke agreed. Luke and Annabeth agreed. They were /all/ aware that the Gods were wrong, they were ALL angry and frustrated. Percy agrees with Luke so much that he forsook Godhood in order to not let the other kids go through the same neglect Luke went through, and Luke agreed with Percy so much that in the end he died for it. PJO is a whole series on childhood trauma, and that's one of the reasons it stands so solidly in the YA genre; it has a clear theme. You couldn't expect the Gods to fall, they're omnipotent, there's very little for the demigods to do about them and that's Purposeful cause that's what adults and caretakers are like in the perspective of kids. All of the demigods are victims, even in the sequels: they all were neglected or abused or abandoned, u need that context on their mortal sides to understand the continuity of how they see the Gods.

Both Percy and Luke were victims, but Luke was bitter and angry and it blinded him. Percy's a troubled, abused kid that could go on and make the world better. It's a foil of optimism and negativism where both sides' feelings were warranted, but it doesn't matter if rage from trauma is righteous, it's still damning, the effect is still negative. Percy wasn't on the side of the Gods, he was on the side of the demigods that were still going to be affected had Luke won. Making it about who was right and who was wrong, who's good and who's bad, is losing the point. Like inherently.
