I updated the “About The Mod” page. And I am still working on the R3MAKE review and some of the asks that I got while I was gone.

I will still be quite busy with work and school but I don’t want this blog to be dead forever since I still love the UBCS and still love Resident Evil and also you guys as well, of course.

Hey guys, sorry for being inactive for quite a while now. I haven’t forgotten about this blog, don’t worry! I’m just in a very bad place in real life. I’m trying to get out of a toxic relationship, trying to find a new place to live, trying to get back into school again alongside dealing with health problems. I still got plenty of incorrect quotes to post and my review and detailed opinion on the R3MAKE is also in the works. I’m just trying to get stuff in real life done first because, frankly, I need to prioritize my own health and safety over writing a review on a game. I still see all of your reblogs and likes and I am very thankful for every follower this blog gets. I swear I will come back full force once I am in a better place in real life and until then I can’t make promises other than I will NOT abandon this blog, nor will I delete it! You guys can still interact with me and submit your own incorrect quotes/memes/artwork!

Love all of you and thank you for liking the content of this blog! The UBCS, and Resident Evil as a whole, is still my passion and I love seeing people like, reblog and follow the stuff I make, as well as submissions! <3

Liking Murphy in the RE3 remake is a painful experience, but my monkey brain went 'Heho Haberkorn!' and that was the end of it,,, 😭

I don’t understand why people hate the new Carlos. At least he’s not racist anymore.

I do not speak for everyone, and frankly I don’t intend to do so, so I can only share my personal opinion on this one.

I just don’t like the new design for him. It is like a totally different character. Nothing about him tells me that this is supposed to be Carlos. When I first saw his new design when the first image of the R3MAKE leaked, I genuinly thought it was a different character. Plus he looks older than 21 to me. I am also not a fan of the new uniform for the UBCS, but that is a nitpick that expands to more than just Carlos. The rest of the changes about him (like how he tries to flirt with Jill all the time, for example) I can take more easily. It’s mainly his design that I just don’t like.

And about the racist thing, I believe you mean the accent? If so then I can recommmend the podcast with the voiceactor for Carlos in RE3. In said podcast he explains how they were trying not to make Carlos racist by keeping the accent to a minimum and not show it in a comedic light, which they did for all foreign characters. I dunno, the original Carlos never came across to me as racist and no one I talked to about him (mainly people of color) ever thought he was a racist depiction.

But like I said, this is my own personal opinion on the matter. I am glad people can enjoy the new Carlos and like him for who he is. There is nothing wrong with having your own opinion as long as you respect other peopel’s opinions and don’t use your own as a weapon to hurt others. If you disagree with me then that’s totally fine. All I ask for is that you guys don’t start hating each other over a preference in character design, no matter what design for Carlos you prefer.

Reading the two asks before mine I should have probably mentioned I wasn't them so you can tell us anons apart! I'm the XNemmy shipper / Speaking of, I've imagined them stargazing! for now the ones in the sky lol; though if the mood strikes for Umbrella-wins scenario, maybe Mr X presents Nemesis with a VERY terrified STARS member? or N catches a witness that got away from X and hands them over? Being Tyrants I guess emotions are muted... but handholding, shoulder-leaning & headbonks are a must.

Mr.X barging into a room with a terrified Brad, wrapped up in a pink bow, on his shoulder to present to Nemesis as a token of his affection is indeed a fun thought. Bonus points if Nemesis caught Leon or Claire for Mr.X in return, each of them presenting their victims to the other like humans would exchange bouquets of flowers lol.

Not every ship has to make sense, hence why there exist crack ships. I just think they would be cute together and it’s fine that not everyone agrees with me. Ya’ll can ship whatever you want. :3
