Just got off the phone. I really REALLY hate talking on the phone. I only do it if necessary. Idk why but it makes me so uncomfortable. I guess because I have no idea what to say on the other line and it makes things awkward.

What’s your experience talking on the phone?

In my first year university course there was a class I remember as being mandatory (at least for English majors) about fallacies and biases in writing. And this prof was all about reading the whole article before you formed your argument. That was his whole thing. You know measure twice cut once he was read twice respond once. He stressed this so much that on our final exam (which was two long form essay questions and a few short answer questions) that I decided to read the WHOLE exam booklet before I grabbed my pen.

Turns out that is what he wanted. The final page, the final question, informed the student that if they wrote 1. Their name, 2. Their student number 3. Their favourite fallacy, and wait for 30 minutes so they don't arouse suspicion, you will literally be given 100 percent for the exam WORTH 40 PERCENT OF YOUR GRADE.

I think about it to this day. The prof literally saw the "reading comprehension on this site is piss poor" and said I can fix them

JayRoy Tangled au that has lived in my head for the past year that I never did anything with

Jason as Rapunzel, magical hair ≈ resurrection / any after effects of lazarus, feeling of being removed from the once place you fit into and that deep sense of not knowing WHY you feel so out of place, at the mercy of another's ploy,

Roy as Eugene (uses arrows to climb tower, that's what sparked this), his attempt to run from his mistakes, an outcast character; removed from society due to his actions = his addiction and eventual disapproval of oliver and his own peers, won't hesitate to use more morally grey methods to get by / reach his goal, deals more with his emotions and own place in his own life as the story progresses

Joker as Mother Gothel, self explanatory - kidnapped Jason ect ect, motherly/fatherly trope somewhat similar to Joker Jr Tim Drake but not at all really (had an off thought that Mother Gothel could also be Ra's, using Jason's resurrection as a stepping stone to immortality the same way Gothel uses Rapunzels hair to stay young but the manipulation and sheer dedication to the bit wildly fits joker more, plus he plays a larger role in Jason's lore and trauma than Ra's does in canon)

Obviously Bruce as the king, Jason (and Bruce's) "Prince of Gotham" title, probably a single father and lone ruler but the queen could be Selina or Talia probably idk they aren't major characters

also the duckling bar, but instead, it's a dingy club in a crime alley where the Gotham rogues sing about their dreams. each villian in "I've got a dream," i can, and WILL connect to a specific rogue. don't tempt me i will (for example ; "And let's not even mention my complexion" = Two-face, "Tor would like to quit and be a florist" Poison Ivy ect ect ect)

also also there is so much to play around with in terms of Jason's innocence that he lost in the original lore and the theme of innocence within Rapunzel, how she's unaware of how the world works and has to re/establish her place in it just as Jason had to post resurrection. The same goes for Family, being ripped from the people u love and belong with by an external force, the murals they paint and holidays they hold for Rpaunzel bc of her pressumed death, all very Jason Todd.
