Isreal is deliberately starving Gaza. Prices are high, and donations are slow for Youssef and his family...

Israel targeted and killed 7 children and 4 adults waiting for water in a drone strike while crowds of people attempted to retrieve clean water from a water truck on July 13th. Water shortages are becoming worse. Fuel shortages are heavily affecting desalination sanitation facilities. People are now dependant on collection centres.

That massacre was just one of several in a 24 hour period on July 12th and 13th. The Health Ministry in Gaza reported that 139 bodies have been brought to hospitals within that 24 hour period.

In Gaza, just standing to receive water, or a food package is a death sentence. And yet the world is silent and complicit in this horror.

The alternative for this is buying food for crazy, expensive prices nobody can bear alone. Keep in mind, there is no income in Gaza.

Youssef ( @yosefgaza122 ) requires urgent donations. Him and his family are human too. His wife Hanan, and children Lana, Aboud and Adam aren't numbers. They have a story to tell (read here).

But the world is unsympathetic and unkind. The world has blocked their ears and eyes to the pain, suffering and extermination in Gaza.

They have only raised 11% of their goal, hardly enough to sustain the prices Youssef describes;

"Dear friend, we are living in a state of high prices in Gaza. Your donation is very important and necessary for my family. Every generous donation will save us from famine. Prices are exorbitant. Prices of basic commodities in Gaza today, Saturday, July 19 1 kg of flour: 200 shekels (£60) 1 kg of sugar: 400 shekels (£120) 1 kg of pasta: 100 shekels (£30) 1 kg of lentils: 80 shekels (£26) 1 kg of rice: 150 shekels (£45) 1 kg of tomatoes and eggplant: 90 shekels (£24) 1 kg of potatoes: 100 shekels (£30)."

The more shares, the more donations, the more we are helping aid get food a family in need. The more we are feeding three innocent children - be the reason they can eat.

I have spoken before about the overwhelming costs of food and medication in Gaza. My friend Ahmed tells me that a single tablet of the medicine his injured brother needs is over €20 euros.

However, another dimension that might help you to contextualize Palestinian life is the amount of time and energy everything takes. Ahmed described for me his daily life right now. He walks 2 kilometers to get to water, then usually waits in line for over an hour for his family's turn. Sometimes there is not enough left, and after standing in line for an hour, he must walk 2 kilometers back still thirsty with nothing to show for it. It takes two days to get 2 kilos of flour, and his family often goes 4 days without eating a single piece of bread. Their hunger leaves them faint and dizzy.

At night, it gets cold. They don't have enough blankets to warm themselves. It's hard to sleep, because sometimes there are bombings, and even when a night passes in safety, they are scared knowing bombings could happen at any time. In one of these recent bombings, their tent was torn, and they haven't yet had any funds to buy nylon to patch it. In the meanwhile, reptiles and poisonous insects easily get into the tent every night.

Ahmed's fundraiser has been vetted: @gazavetters in line (#198), but his campaign has only raised €6,500 so far. He really needs support. Please help him. Every donation helps to relieve the extent of his overwhelming circumstances.

You might be far away, but you could be a reason his family is able to stay warm under blankets. You could give the funds they use to patch up their tent or to treat someone's injuries. You have the power to share with him the experience of a good meal and a full stomach. What is a more beautiful act of humanity than that?

It's such a blessing that we can make such an enormous difference in someone else's life. It's humbling to know we share this world together, and that our decisions connect us to each other.

Amal is a mother of a 2.5-year-old girl living in Gaza. She is four months pregnant and lives with her family, her husband Moatasem, and her two-and-a-half-year-old daughter, Maryam. Imagine your sister, mother, brother, friend, or son, who should be at school, with friends, at work, or at university, but instead has to hide from bombs and seek help online to save their family. Her family has suffered more than a year and a half of genocide. They are all hoping to reach safety.

My daughter, Maryam, is only two and a half years old and has lived most of her life in a war zone. She is malnourished. It is every parent's worst nightmare: seeing their only daughter starve and not being able to feed her. Please help me feed my daughter and keep her safe. No child should grow up hearing the sound of bombs. Every child has the right to food and safety. You can help give Maryam the childhood she deserves, where she can sleep in a safe bed at night with a full stomach.

The doctor showed me pictures from the pregnancy test at the hospital. It showed me that I am in my fourth month of pregnancy and need nutritional supplements and healthy food. Every day they spend in Gaza, their lives are in danger because of Israeli bombs, the closure of the crossings, and the lack of proper food and drink. Every day and hour counts. I know there are compassionate and kind people who want to help. Every euro helps. Your donation will bring them one step closer to safety. With love and hope, I ask you to give what you can. I believe there are good people in the world and I beg you not to let them die. If you can't donate, please share so it reaches those who can.

Never forget that Palestinians are not just numbers on a death list. Please, I think of each one of them, I think of their names and faces, and I know you can help them. I think of them every day. Israeli military evacuation orders have been issued multiple times throughout August 2025. These orders have forced tens of thousands of Palestinians to repeatedly relocate amid intensified military operations and severe humanitarian conditions.

We are now forced to evacuate from Gaza to the south and we need a lot of money to move our things.  We need 1000$ for the car and 1000$ for the rent of piece of land to put our tents on and we need another 1000$ to buy new tents that not preventing us from summer or winter.

Please guys do your best to share my story. We are here starving and dying slowly we need your help. Every 3 months they create a new thing to kill us or to make us suffering more and more. My name is Shada Kassab, and I am a 24-year-old mother living in Gaza. Every day is a fight for survival for me, my husband Hussein, and our baby boy Adam, who is just five months old.
