Sorry for the recent quiet but I've been working hard on some new designs for the show and I've got to say I'm pretty happy with the new line up! Let's just say if you like derpy cats, super dogs, treasure hunting and sci-fi classics, or the awesomeness of Lizards then you might be in for a treat. 🦎

I'll be sharing some sneak peeks this week for anyone that can't be there in person and maybe setting up some online pre-order options for one or two before we head to Portland.

🪷✨Sketch peek! I’ve been working on a new piece called Lavender Lagoon, a dreamy little design that’s equal parts tranquil and queer-coded. It’s still very much in progress, but I wanted to share a glimpse before its full debut at a Pride event next month.

This one’s subtle on purpose, think soft florals, still water, and lavender menace vibes under moonlight. 🌙💜

Also… soft announcement time! In addition to making art for my own shop, I’ve started working with my partner on artwork for her LGBTQ+ themed shop, and I’m really excited to share more soon. Stay tuned, there’s more to come from the lagoon! 🐚🏳️‍🌈

SILVER AND LEAD pre-order campaign.

Starting in 2020, when lockdowns were really hurting independent bookstores, I've been doing pre-order campaigns for our annual Toby book. In the past, they've been pins. This year, because tarrif chicken was going on during our design phase, we weren't able to afford pins (I pay for this myself), so we're doing awesome sticker sheets instead.

How this works: independent bookstores sign up, tell us how many pre-orders they have, and we send them sticker sheets to give to their customers as a thank you and incentive to order. This is PURELY OPT-IN. We don't sign anyone up. Even if a bookstore did it last time, they have to decide they want to do it again this time.

So how do you get sticker sheets?

Be an independent bookstore.

Email through my website contact form.

Fill out the Google form when asked by my PA, and respond when she contacts you approximately two weeks before release to ask how many sheets you need.

Receive stickers via postal mail a few weeks before book release.

This is open to all indie bookstores with physical storefronts, regardless of location. Sign-ups will close roughly a week before SDCC.

If you're a bookstore that sells SF/F, participate! Get stickers! They're awesome!
