Evaluation
So this is my final reflective journal entry, on this evaluation, I will be covering all the topics and things I have been doing on this FMP, from start to finish. I will try to not repeat myself so much and explain everything to high standards.
Since there is a lot of points and areas that need to be covered I will split this into different sections, that way it will be easy to find and locate a certain point.
These areas will be...Context, Research, Problem-solving, PLanning and Production, Things that I will do differently in the future, Evaluation, and finally Presentation.
Context.
What is the context? What was your project about?: Well for starters my project evolved as I went along and I started working on it on the very first week. At first, I wanted to create three pieces of digital art, a landscape and a concept art sheet for two characters that would appear in the landscape. But then I decided that creating a story and fitting those characters in said story, could be way more interesting and it would actually be worth of FMP standards.
What would it’s purpose be in the creative media industry?: I think that making characters such as these and creating a story for each individual piece can be utilized in a lot of media, for example the story could be used in a short animation or a little comic book, the pieces of concept art can be used as reference or models for a videogame and the landscape can be used for a background or piece of digital art. I feel like I didn’t really take into consideration how would I use these pieces or where I would like to see them, but if I had to choose right now, I feel like I would want these to be utilized on an animation or comic, is the first thing that comes to mind when I see my pieces and I think they fit right in that area.
How did you understand the specialist area of design your project centered on?: Quite frankly, I didn’t get most of it, but by the end of the project I was able to grasp the concepts of each one of the areas I worked at and I achieved this by doing tons and tons of research, that’s why my blog has huge amounts of secondary research, because on the first three weeks of my FMP all I did was huge amounts of research, and even after starting producing pieces I kept doing research, because I feel like you can never have enough sources of inspiration when you make something. I had to get familiar with a lot of different concepts and techniques that I’ve never even heard before, so that took a while to find out and actually understand, but if you take a look at my blog you can see a clear image of the evolution I made, from my first to second and final landscape. So I think that I had little to no understanding at the beginning and by the end of this project I’m quite confident to say that I was able to grasp the basics of each one, maybe I would even say that I’m starting to work at mid-level.
How would you build on this in the future?: I think that now that I’ve properly mastered the basics the next step would be going for the intermediate level on each area in the work I produced. I want to see myself evolve and be able to start a piece feeling confident and not having to have a lot of backup plans or tutorials in case something goes wrong. So I feel like experimenting and analyzing your piece to see what you’ve done wrong and what you’ve done right is where I should focus in the future. Try to do the thing I did with the landscape more often and see how can I take that process I had and apply it to everything I do in the future, especially in something I am completely new on.
Research.
Did you research well?: I like to believe that research is one of the strongest points on my blog because I put a lot of effort into it, I started to use Harvard referencing to cite all the work I find online including the date that information was accessed so I’m really happy with the research on my blog. I think I’ve also got research from a wide variety of sources, so is not just comic books or videogames, I have songs and a lot of videos as well so I’m pleased with this aspect of my blog, I’ve also taken a lot of photos and pictures for my primary research so I have a bit of both.
Did you draw from enough varied sources?: I think that I have, or at least I like to believe so, I have some doodles on my blog which show some doodles I’ve done which feature various characters and initial ideas. But I would have liked to make more doodles or experiment with more sources, but time didn’t allow me to experiment with them that much.
How well did you use your research in combination with your creative process?: Well I think that I made the most out of my research when I started doing and creating my pieces because I was able to analyze the pieces I was making and then compare it to a video or tutorial I’m watching and the then I would identify what I’m doing right or wrong and change it or improve it.
How has this project made you think of more effective ways to use and gather research in future projects?: Well, I have changed a lot of things when doing research on this project, for starters, I referenced and quoted all the sources I got my information from and it has also made me look at research in different ways, you can look for things that might help you improve your work. I have also implemented a lot of primary research and pictures I took on my blog, and I used them to add them to my work and piece. For example, I made a post talking about pinwheels and how I used them on my landscape.
Problem solving.
What problems did you come across during the project: I faced a lot of inconveniences and problems when I was creating my pieces, the first huge issue that I faced was knowing how to create a landscape. I had no idea how to create a landscape, it was my first time doing it and on my first attempt, you can tell that I REALLY didn’t have a clue. To solve this problem I just did a lot of research and tried to identify the problem, and that’s exactly what I did! I learned about landscapes and what you should always try to implement on it to make any landscape you create look good.
The second issue I faced was corrupted material and videos that I lost. I used OBS screen-capture to record myself working, and sometimes I would record for too long or get files that would go corrupt, losing all the evidence and progress I recorded, which was a huge inconvenience, because If I couldn’t show the evidence the progress I made to create a final piece, then it was like I did nothing at all. So to fix this, I would edit all the videos that I had, and in the end, I would add an extra video that I specifically recorded to cover all those areas of evidence I was lacking.
All the other inconveniences I faced, were just minor things like adding more research on my blog, making sure I saved files, remember to update my schedule and have everything up to date, ETC. So all these issues were sorted almost instantly, but the two major ones where those two, which made things a bit difficult and would slow me down sometimes.
How will did you deal with these problems and how did you adapt to move your project further: Well like I have already explained on the previous point I would always try to sort it out, I wanted everything to be sorted before continuing with my piece because I do not like to leave loose ends, and well I guess that I adapted by creating more video and looking for solutions online, I had to learn to recognize my mistakes when I was trying to fix my landscape, so I think that is a good way and example of adapting.
What have you learned about problem-solving during the project and how would you tackle problems on future projects?: I think that a good way to tackle problems is to prevent them at all from happening. But obviously I think that if I were to do this again, I would definitely have a lot of backup videos that show my evidence, and also try to be more prepared and look into theories and lessons on “how to” do that specific thing I’m doing before going right into it.
Planning and production
How well did you plan, how well did you adjust, evaluate and adapt your plan and use time effectively to complete the project?: To make the best out of the time I’ve had I decided that the best thing to do would be to make a schedule of my own, I know I don’t really mention it on my blog but every time I had to update my schedule I would look at what I’ve written and evaluated the situation to see if I was making progress or if I was able to meet my goal that week. It was a really good way to keep on track because it was almost like a personalized diary/checklist that I created so I would know what I had to do and what I had planned for that week. You can see me talking about each week and my schedule on my schedule posts.
Are the things you would do differently in future projects?: If I am quite honest I think that I really liked the way I planned everything and how I organized my time in this project, because I successfully completed all my goals and I was able to finish everything on time. I feel like the only thing I might change would be the amount of time I spend on something because I would have liked to have some spare time at the end of my project, to freely experiment with the pieces I’ve already created and develop them even further.
Practical skills
Have you used a wide enough skill on the project, could you have developed this?: I think that I did use a wide range of skills in this project. Because I had to learn how to create landscapes, how to use my Wacom tablet, how to set up Wacom tablet settings, how to digitally paint, how to draw a character digitally, typography and how to make look text look interesting. So yeah I had a lot of little different skills that I had to learn and put to use, so I am very pleased and I can confidently say that I have a wide enough set of skills. However I don’t think is a perfect demonstration of these skills, because I am still learning how to polish them, and some of them I just had learned, so I have to admit that I could have developed or add more to my skills because you can never have enough development.
How well did you enquire and extend practical techniques, did you challenge yourself?: Well yeah, I don’t want to keep using the landscape example, so I will move on onto my concept art, I had no idea how to use a Wacom tablet, it was the first time that I tried one, and I had free will over what I had to make, so obviously it was a bit overwhelming and I got frustrated sometimes when things didn’t look the way I expected them to look, but eventually I acquired that patience and resolution that encouraged me to learn how to set up a Wacom tablet and how to get used to the shortcuts, or how to make the best of it. I may not have mastered these skills yet, but at least I know that I have them now and that makes me really happy.
I challenged myself by learning how to use a Wacom tablet and when I decided I was going to make a landscape, even though I had no idea where to start.
What new techniques and skills have you acquired. How would you build on and improve in this area?: I have learned how to understand values and shadows in a landscape, I have learned how to place things in a landscape and how to make something look in the distance, I have learned how to use a Wacom tablet and make the best of photoshop brushes, I learned how to create interesting textboxes, I learned how to digitally paint and how to mix tools and hue layers to create interesting patterns and textures.
I guess that the only way to improve these new skills would be to constantly practice. The more you practice the more you learn, because each time you will make something different and you can take things that you liked from previous pieces and add them onto your new one, and eventually you will make a piece with very few mistakes, because you have gone through that process of creation that allows you to pick the best things of it and leave the mistakes behind. I think that another good way to improve would be by doing research and looking for more techniques or basic principals, but in the end, it would all come back to practice and evolution.
Evaluation
How well did you evaluate your own work and practice during the project? What would you do next time?: I discovered a good way to evaluate my work during the project, and that was asking for feedback and opinions from other people. Then I would look at what they had to say, and I would reflect upon this. I found this to be a very effective and fun way to evaluate things, because you have more than one point of view in the matter, and sometimes other people might point something out that I would have never noticed or considered on changing, I think that this is a very effective and good way of evaluating things. And well I would evaluate myself, whenever I had to update my schedule, I just saw how I was doing in general and what needed to be done.
If I am quite honest I don’t think I wouldn’t change a lot about the way I evaluated things, I believe that it was quite balanced and fair so I will stick to getting feedback and different opinions.
Presentation
How structured is your blog? Could it have been presented in a clearer way to communicate your ideas, experiments and creative process in general?: My blog is pretty much divided into two sections, the first section is purely research. I spent the first weeks just doing research so you can tell that there is a point on my blog where I start posting purely the work I’ve produced and variations...Etc. I’m not sure if this is a good way to present the blog but I quite like the idea of two sections a blog, but I feel like maybe it would have been to have them both mixed up a bit.
Maybe it could have been presented in a different way, but I think that presenting a blog can be a bit of a controversy because some might like an interesting and colorful blog, while others might prefer simple and straight forward ones, so is a hit or miss most of the time. I’m quite happy with how it looks because I like colorful things and dynamic designs.
And the reason why I like the design I went for is because is almost like a journey, you see each panel get better or more interesting, and is like you’re watching or reading a comic, that’s why I like the 3 grid theme in Tumblr and why I think it communicates my progress and ideas well.
What have you learned that you will take forward into future projects?: Quite frankly I’ve learned too many things and I would like to take all of them with me, but if I had to choose I would keep the way I handled my schedule because it was a nice way to keep on track and organize myself.
I would keep all that I’ve learned about landscapes because is something that I quite enjoy and love.
I would keep everything I’ve learned on the Wacom tablet and the typography skills I developed. Because I feel like one day I will have to use the Wacom tabler almost daily, so I want to keep these skills and eventually develop them in the future.
And finally I would keep the way I gathered opinions and feedback from people, I loved discussing with people why they like or dislike my work, so I will always try to do this.
Overall I have to say that I love this project, and I felt like I was able to grow as a graphic designer, and I’ve learned a lot of things that I wouldn’t have dared to try out if I didn’t push myself out of my comfort zone.

Tools and things that helped me on my FMP
One of my teachers suggested that it would be a good idea to briefly summarize and go over a few things that helped on my Fmp.
I’m going to list the tools that I found the most useful and a few other things that are not really software related.
Since I essentially made three different pieces for my FMP, I will divide this into sections: Landscape, Concept Art, Text.
Landscape
My landscape was quite challenging and hard to make since I didn’t have any experience of landscapes before, so it was quite hard to get things right, and it took me at least 3/4 attempts to get it right. But after I figured out what I had to do, it was quite easy to deduce what tools I had to use and how to make the most of them.
1.) Pen tool: The pen tool was a must when making my landscape, I think it was the tool I used the most on this project, because it allowed me to create shapes that were sharp and had hard edges, and I was always able to just edit it when I had to, overall it was a tool that made the process of creating shapes and the landscape itself so much quicker and refined.
2.) Brush tool: I was surprised to see how much I actually used the brush tool on my landscape because, to be honest, I was not planning on using the Wacom tablet for this piece. But I actually found a better use for it.
What I did was make my brush huge and then I would select a brush that had a texture on it and, once I had that selected I would just paint over the shape and get a layer that would blend the shape and the newly painted parts to create an illusion of texture. I used this technique for all my landscape, I discovered that is really useful and it can make anything interesting.
3.) Hue and Saturation layers: In terms of utility and possibilities I think this one was the one that had to offer the most.
I had a blast using this kind of layer because it would allow me to quickly change the colour of any object on my landscape to anything I wanted or even change the values on it to give something more shadow or more light. It was really fun to play around with this tool and see all the different combinations I could come up with, and I’m sure that I’ve not even tried 50% of all the options that you can choose from. Overall it was just a very easy tool to get used to and I was able to create a lot of variations thanks to it.
4.) Primary and secondary research: It was really hard to figure out landscapes, before doing my research I thought that it was just placing things on top of each other and making sure that the things that are supposed to be in the distance are small. But is actually a whole more to it, a lot that I would have never been able to understand if I didn’t do any research. I had to learn about values, so I would watch hour-long videos of people explaining how values work, how you should use shadows to create depth and a lot of other things that, eventually I began to understand and I decided to go look for some real-life inspiration that might help me.
Concept art
1.) Brush tool and Wacom tablet: I never expected the Wacom tablet to be so hard to get used to, it was quite uncomfortable sometimes, but by the end of this project I got fairly used to it, and eventually I began to like it and prefer it over a mouse. The reason why I prefer the Wacom tablet is that I feel like I have a lot more control with my lines and how the brush works. Once I got confident, it kind of felt like drawing or painting on a piece of paper, with the exception that you could undo anything you didn’t like or change colour instantly, it was a joy to have so many tools that I could mix with my brush.
2.) Sketchbook: To be honest my sketchbook was filled with a lot of little doodles and ideas that came to my mind when I was thinking about what kind of characters I wanted to make. I got a lot of initial ideas and character development by doing this and it allowed me to create the character I wanted to make and instantly translate it on the computer.
Text boxes
Videogames and their lore: When I play a videogame I like to be invested in the lore and the characters that you can find in it. I think that creating a story is not something easy, especially if you want your characters and world to look interesting. That’s why I like and I’m able to appreciate a good story in a videogame when I read one, there a lot of games that I’ve played with good stories, and those games and pieces of lore inspired me to create my own. So seeing professional examples of what a text box of lore in the game looks like was really helpful.
Typography: I can’t say that doing typography research helped me in this project because I have done none of it. However, I do think that typography that I have seen previously in games and videos might have influenced me without me knowing.

Feedback!
This might be my last feedback post.
I will ask some of my friends, what they think about my FMP and the whole piece in general.
After that, I will comment on what they have said and give my own opinion.
Daniel
I really, really like the landscape piece for this project, I love the way you put so much effort into the colour and variations so you could see which ones you liked the most and viewers liked the most, this is good because you can see what colours worked well, and was aesthetically pleasing to the viewers as well as yourself. I can see that you have taken the feedback you have previously received as well as general advice received to make your project ten times better than when you began this project.
Your concept art was very nice but maybe a little too “ in your face” but still looked very nice and was a nice change of pace reading about your character. I would have liked to see more drawings of your characters with maybe lots of different outfits, clothes, face shapes, eyes shapes, body shapes ETC like you did with the variations of colour you did with your landscapes, other than this you have done a really nice project. Nice Job
Jakub
I really like the overall concept of the work. I love the lore and how it links altogether, the land links with the characters and also the characters link together. I think he has done a really good job with that. Another thing that I really like is the landscape. I think it’s a really good illustration with a very unique style. I like the fact that the rocks have a small texture on them, this makes it very interesting for the eye. Overall really good job!
Response:
Daniel: I have to agree with everything Daniel has said about my piece because I’ve already touched upon how I wanted to make my characters look more diverse and have more things on them, or maybe make them more interesting etc. However my FMP wasn’t entirely focused on creating two characters, I wanted to make a story and create a world for those characters as well, which is why I wanted to make a landscape as well, and have little boxes of lore included as well. But I do have to agree that I could have done at least one or two more variations, I just ran out of time and I had more work to do.
Jakub: Since I can’t really find any negative comment I’m just gonna have to say...Thank you! It seems like you really like the landscape, and I kind of have to agree when people say that is my “best piece” out of the others I’ve made after all is the one that I’ve spent a lot of time and made most development on, and you can clearly see evolution on my Tumblr blog. I think that for my first landscape I was able to make something good, and I’m looking forward to eventually create something better and more refined.

Schedule update!!

Here is my schedule update, (week 9) I've already talked a bit about this and the previous week on my “diary update” so I don’t think that repeating myself is that useful, but I will briefly summarize how this week went.
I think that this week was really stressful, but at the same time, I’m really happy with the huge amount of work I was able to produce, now that I have Photoshop and Adobe software at home I can do some more work and it helps a lot.
I still get the feeling that I should have done some more work, but I shouldn’t be so hard on myself because I believe that I met all the goals I set myself on week 9.
Now we’re on week 10, and I’m fired up to get everything done and present my work at high standards.
Link of last week’s schedule.

Killu Text
Just like I explain on the previous blog posts related to this subject, I wanted to capture the personality and theme of each character, and I think that I nailed it with Killu. I’m quite happy with how this text box looks and what is able to communicate, I think that the colour palette matches the character and is definitely present in his clothing and body
Anyway here is the video that shows and explains how I did it.
youtube

And here is the finished version of the Killu text box.
Like said I think I matched his style quite well and I’m really happy with how it looks.

Red Violet Text
Here is the text box I created for my character Red Violet.
When I was making each one of these I wanted each one to feel unique and kind of capture the personality and theme that each character would have. So I used the colour palette and shapes you would usually relate those characters with.
Here is the video showing the evidence of how I made it.
youtube

Finished version.
As you can see the text is quite bright and has shapes that would resemble thread, I made it as dynamic as possible because she is a character that will move around a lot.

Velovale text
After I finished my concept art I decided to start doing some extra work that will potentially make my concept art look more interesting and is also something that allows the viewer engaged with my piece a bit more.
That is text boxes with a brief description and backstory which explains (or tries to) explain what is going on in that piece. Like I said before I already had a brief idea of what I wanted to make and I’ve also had a story on my mind, a story that took some time to think and make it connect, but I think that I accomplished it quite well, because the characters are linked with each other and the land that was made for them.
Anyway here is the video of me making the first text box for Velovale

Killu concept art
Here is the whole video of the process I took to create my Killu concept sheet.
youtube
Like I said I was not too sure about this piece, but I think it has some strong elements that makes it interesting, I like the colour pallet and the details in the face, I think that it has a bit more detail than my other character.
I think it does lack a bit of detail? But is not that much of a deal, because I actually made a lot of other things and tried to make variations of it.
I think that the colour pallet is quite interesting too, I’m quite happy with it because I believe it captures the magic and also creates a contrast to my other character.

Everything so far (diary update?)
These past two weeks I have been able to make a lot of progress on my FMP, however, there have been a couple of issues that I will talk about.
Firstly I have to admit that I think I produced a fair amount of work. I may not have done everything but I made sure the pieces that I did were recorded, and I made various updates on the blogs and I always tried to include some form of research on my work, so I believe that in that aspect I should be okay.
However, I am not sure if I created enough for my concept art, I feel like I was lacking “front view” art for both of my characters and that got me a bit worried. I would have tried to make some more, but sadly I had no time and I wanted to start working on my text, I’ve still got to figure out a way to present all my final pieces, so is going to be quite hard to fit all that work in the coming week, but I will manage it.
Overall I think that I produced enough in overall, I totally feel like I could have added more on some areas of my work, but I hope is not that much of a deal in the end, after all, I was able to deliver all I promised.
Next time I will try to experiment a lot more and definitely get all areas of a concept art sheet filled with content, that means that I will have a bunch more of experimentation with “finished” pieces and I will also try to manage my time and schedule a lot better.

Text cards and character introductions
Now that I’ve done my characters, and I’ve polished some things on my concept art. I decided that it was time to work on text cards,
I am not sure if I mentioned that I was going to make text cards for the concept art I’ve created, explaining all the little details and why my characters look the way they do, or the motivations behind them.
I’ve made three text cards in total, each one is different from the other and has its own theme and tone. I put a lot of effort into these.
There’s only two right now because I forgot to export the jpg file of my “Killu” one, but once I do I will update this post and briefly talk about it.

This is my little box of text that explains my “background” or at least the outskirts of the city. Velovale is the name of the city where my main character Viola or (red-violet) is from.
I decided to create my text box this way, because I wanted to tell people that Velovale is a military region, is a region that is defined by war and might, and I wanted to tell that visually.
That’s why I went for that title, which features really stiff and straight text, I wanted it to be rigid and make it look solid. I choose that border because It looks like a piece of fabric after a battle, and I choose the colour purple because purple is usually associated with royalty and might.

Here is my text box for Red Violet. I had a lot of fun making this one because I really like her character, and I wanted to give her a good story. So when I was writing on my sketchbook I was also thinking about what kind of theme or shapes I could use to communicate what kind of character she is. And I knew that if I wanted to make this badass and fun character I should probably us shapes that translate that.
I wanted to give the impression that Red Violet is a very dynamic and fast character, a character that can dance around her opponents and fight with elegance. However since she lost her memories she doesn’t remember how to do that properly, so she kind of mixes military combat she learned back in Velovale and what she had to learn in the streets and in her journey.
Since those two things shouldn’t really make sense or go together I realized that her character shouldn’t have a fixed theme, and right now she is just a very random character with a lot of features she has picked up from a lot of different places and the world around her.
That’s why I kind of went with that goofy style for this text box, I made it a little all over the place and I used irregular shapes to create the text, which I think it works pretty well and it kind of communicates what I wanted to say.
I chose the bright red and pink because that is the colour that I gave her, I wanted to make that colour hers, so that’s why the text box mainly consists of red and shades of pink.
When I finished making that text box I looked at it and I realized that it reminded me of something, it was as if I was using or referencing something unconsciously. It took me a while to know what was this thing on my box that seemed oddly familiar, and that’s when I realized.

I knew that I’ve already seen something that resembled the style I went for with my Red Violet box, and that thing was the original animated TV show of the Pink Panther, the 1993 version.
I remember watching this cartoon when I was a kid, it was something I would watch almost every Saturday morning, so I think that my brain unconsciously added that image and style that the show had on my mind when I was creating my title.
I don’t know if it’s just me, but I believe that this cartoon may have had something to do with this text box, so I decided to add it anyway.

concept art pieces.
Today I had another go at my concept art pieces.
I have made a lot of progress since I started and to be honest I think I was able to produce a lot of work, which will hopefully help me get closer to finish my concept art.
A lot of things went right and wrong. To be honest, I have some mixed feelings with my pieces since they did not turn out like I imagined, and is not like I have a lot of time to do them again or try to do something differently, so I will have to use these ones for my FMP. I can’t be too hard on myself since I did not have a lot of time and it was my first time doing this, so sadly I could not make it look the best I could.
However, I am planning on making two more pieces of concept art this week during half-term. I have two more drawings that I will like to give it a proper go in the Wacom tablet. These two pieces might be the ones I use in the end, but so far, this is what I have so far. I’m finding myself in quite of a tight spot since I still need to edit some of the recordings I’ve been gathering these past two days, so I think this half-term week won’t be one where I get to “chillax”

This is probably my least favorite piece out of all the ones I’ve produced so far, and I don’t really know what is wrong with it, I’m not just not a huge fan of how it turned out, I will try to come back to it and maybe add some filters or things that might make it look better, but right now this is all I’ve got for “Killu”, I really like the colours pallet I’ve used for him though, is not all negative, but I do believe that I could have done something else to make it look somewhat more interesting.

Now with the concept art that I made for “Viola” is a different story, because I really like how it turned out. To be honest, I don’t know what I’ve done on this piece to make it look better than my “Killu” one, but I do know that I like this piece way more. The colours and the shapes look like I visioned, so is a relief that at least this turned out to be somewhat of a success.
I really like all of my concept art pieces, since I think I did a decent job at translating what I had on my sketchbook onto the computer, oh and this is my first time doing this, so that is something that I had to deal with as well. Hopefully, if I DO manage to make those two pieces that I’ve mentioned before I will get a chance to show the evolution I’ve done in the concept art field, just like I did with my landscape.
I will just try to do as much research as possible and eventually evolve on my upcoming pieces.

Schedule update!

Here is the schedule of week 8. I think this might be the week where I’ve made most progress and produced a lot of work.
Not a lot went wrong this week, which is good. However some of my folders went corrupt, luckily I had some backup and the other files that were corrupt aren’t really that important anyway, so I’m glad that wasn’t a big issue.

Concept art videos
I’m making this blog post to upload my videos and show evidence of the process I went through to make my pieces.
youtube
Here is the video of how I made my weapons for my character (Viola). I have been using the same kind of tools that I’ve used for my landscape, however, I have used the Wacom tablet and pen to draw these, so this was a change.

Here is the other video that I recorded, this one is solely about Viola, and well it just shows the process I went through and the tools I used, some problem solving and the things that went right and the ones that went wrong. This is just part one of that video, I still need to upload the other part which will feature the finished piece for this character.
