What mattered most about the image was that Mary was holding her diploma and smiling. “But,” she wondered, “do I say, Mary has a huge smile on her face as she shows her diploma or Mary has an exuberant smile or showing her teeth in a smile and her eyes are crinkled at the edges?”

It was a true honor and a wonderful experience to speak at the Hart Museum in Amsterdam on Wednesday. I had the pleasure of presenting my program, "Getting Bi: Challenging Bi+ Phobia and Bi+ Erasure & Creating a Culture of Inclusion," and it was so rewarding to connect with such a warm and uplifting community.

I loved sharing my work and engaging in meaningful conversation with everyone in attendance. A huge thank you to Bi+ Netherlands for inviting me and for all you do to create a space for us to learn and grow together! I'm energized to continue this important work of education and inclusion.
