My coping mechanism for fear, surprise and emotions I'm not ready to face is laughter, idk it just happens, so maybe if you could write reader get involved with team prime while they fight some vehicons and reader this giggling, laughing and wheezeng mess "I'm sOorry! *wheeze* I can't help it*snorts and continues to laugh/giggle*" after some time now that they are comfortable with the bots they explain this case to them.

Optimus can understand your reaction, to be honest. Battles can be stressful, and the body reacts in strange ways. He isn’t thrown off if you suddenly start laughing, and when you explain he totally understands.

Arcee is a little put off to begin with. She thinks you’re not taking it seriously enough, especially if it’s a dangerous battle, but when you explain to her what’s going on she starts to understand.

Wheeljack is probably laughing along with you, to be honest, but not in a nervous way. He’s laughing out of pure enjoyment. When you explain that you laugh out of fear, he tries to do what he can to help you relax.

can I request hcs of megatron and optimus with a young cybertronian member of their team (let’s say late teens early 20s) that kind of does some kind of childish stuff every now and again? not anything that would harm either factions but more stuff like enjoying bright colourful lights and having their quarters rigged with LEDs, playing music as they go about their tasks, watching human cartoons and straight up throwing themselves off the Nemesis/high places so they can be in free fall for a while

Honestly, as long as you don’t get yourself killed, or have it interfere with your work, Megatron doesn’t really care what you get up to. He’s a busy mech and doesn’t have time to babysit members of the faction, so largely you’re left to your own devices - just be a good soldier and follow orders.

On the other hand, Optimus enjoys having someone so bright and cheerful around. If you get along with Bumblebee, he might worry about you both breaking protocol, but he doesn’t mind your lights or your music. He is, however, a little bit concerned that you like to toss yourself from high places.

And when he asks about it, Rodimus can’t help but spill everything that happened to him

Magnus is disappointed but not surprised

A major lecture is incoming, though

He’ll shoo the captain (as much as he hates to) out of the room, to go and find you and apologise, which he should have already been doing

If the only thing that will get Rodimus to do his job is to fight with you, Magnus would rather that no work ever got done ever again

So Rodimus goes to find you, to make it up to you

If you choose the Decepticons, your relationship might be damaged forever, although that doesn’t mean that he won’t still care about you. If you choose to stay, he’ll be so intensely relieved that any negative feelings he had will immediately melt away

HC for Lost Light crew (I don't have anybody specific in mind) response when learning their human friend can magically summon weapons but has no idea how to use them. Rodimus thinks it’s so COOL! He’ll try to bet on what you’ll summon next, but since it’s kind of random he never gets it right. 

Drift will attempt to help you learn how to use some of the weaponry, but only if you want to. He’ll mass displace just so he can spar with you.

Ratchet doesn’t understand how, but the scientist in him is incredibly fascinated by it. He might want to run a few tests, but nothing too intrusive.

It freaks Red Alert out so much. If you summon something when he’s around, he’ll pretty much run away. Poor baby.

Optimus keeps it lowkey. His feelings doesn’t interfere with his work at all, and it’s weeks before anyone catches on at all. He’ll tell you, eventually, but only if he’s sure you return his affections.

Ratchet is easier to spot - he’s somehow both more snappy and more gentle with you. Pretty much everyone knows, but you’ll have to ask him first, or nothing will ever happen.

Bumblebee is all giddy and happy and adorable, and everyone knows within hours. Even you, although you don’t know who exactly it is he likes. He tells you relatively soon afterwards - he can’t keep a secret like that to himself.

Arcee is a stone wall. When she realises her feelings, she keeps them hidden - eventually, it’s Optimus who figures it out. He’ll encourage her to tell you, but she only will if she thinks there’s a chance.

Smokescreen absolutely LOVES it! He thinks it’s so adorable, he might intentionally try to fluster you just to see your ears turn red. However, he’d never make you angry on purpose, that would just be mean. If you get mad at him for it, he’ll stop right away, especially if it makes you uncomfortable.

Starscream is the complete opposite. In that, he also thinks it’s adorable and loves it. But his favourite way to get your ears red is to get you angry. You know exactly what he’s up to, and yet every time you end up falling for it. He’s such an ass. Just throw a rock at him or something

If anyone talks shit, they’ll know about it from him. It comes as a bit of a surprise, since you weren’t even sure if he cared, but this kind of proves that he does

She’s not the most.. gentle person, when it comes to soothing someone to sleep, unless that person happens to be her significant other

She doesn’t say all that much, but she’ll let you rest against her, or use mass displacement to be closer to you. If you’re really lucky, she’ll boot up her holoform to cuddle with you - but she doesn’t use it often

Spending time with you is the most important thing, but if you want her to talk to you - about anything - she will, if it means that much to you

If you wake up from a nightmare and need help getting back to sleep, she’ll gladly pet your hair and whisper sweet nothings to take your mind off of it.

Megatron kind of doesn’t understand. He can see the appeal, as a flier himself, but why would a human put themselves in so much danger for fun. He’s not ashamed to admit that it perplexes him, but if it really means that much to you, he’ll take you out himself - if he has the time to spare, that is. He won’t ever admit it, but if there is ever an issue, he’ll be right there to catch you.

Starscream pretends he doesn’t care, but he’s secretly glad that you enjoy being in the air just as much as he does. He’ll take you out if you ask, grumbling the whole time, but he’d never let anything happen to you. Sometimes, he’ll race you down, if he’s feeling playful that day. If not, he’ll just wait for you to reach the ground.

Optimus is a mega-dad about it. Concerned to the max.He understands that you’re experienced, but it doesn’t stop him from worrying about you. He’s sweet and supportive, and if you’re really really lucky, you might be able to convince him to go with you one day. (In his holoform, of course!) He ends up not enjoying it at all, but is glad to have given it a go (without being in mortal danger).

Soundwave doesn’t seem to care all that much. If you talk about it a lot, he’ll nod along every now and then, just to let you know he’s listening. It actually doesn’t take much convincing to get him to take you out, and he’s very careful to make sure nothing happens to you. Both him and Lazerbeak keep a close watch over you as you jump and fall, and are always there on the ground waiting for you.
