“I don’t have internet access at home so this is the only time I can go online.”

That is a load of bs right there, I know for a fact that there is no way you could be liking my posts at 10pm - I know your mom might not care about your grades, but I do. Sure, I’m just a friend and we’re the same age, but at least get that through your mind that I’m trying to help you.

“I’m just gonna drop out anyway.”

Yeah, sure, have fun with that.

“I went and talked with the people that came in for the college day at school and I might go into makeup or hair!”

Oh? Yeah, ok, ok... So, how do you expect to go there if you don’t finish high school?

“My mom keeps taking almost half of my paycheck!”

Yeah? She has the right to put it in your college fund you know. You might not know this, but I do talk with your mom. And your mom isn’t the only one I talk to. Do you even know how many people say that? Yeah, you’re not the only one who’s parents actually care about college.

“We’re broke as hell and we live in a trailer!”

Yeah, ok. Sure. You’re broke but you have the money to make things over $200?

At least your mother lets you get a job.

At least you know your real parents.

At least you have both parents still living.

At least your family isn’t mostly dead, dying, or obese.

At least your mother is home most of the time.

At least your mother respects you being in the lgbtq+ community.

At least your family won’t disown you if they find out.

At least your life is better than mine.

Ok, so, don’t complain about how your life sucks because you “don’t have internet access at home” when I can clearly see you liked one of my posts at 10 pm - like, stfu
