I want to clear up some stuff!

Adam on my blog exists currently in 2005 of this month. If I don’t respond to an ask, sometimes it’s because it references stuff that doesn’t exist, or implies that he’s been out of the trap for a very long time.

When I originally made the blog I was going off the notion that Saw 1 took place in 2001 when it should have been 2004. Some of my earlier journals/answers are incorrect in that it states there’s been a bunch of time that’s past.

I hope that clears anything up! Some of those asks I really want to answer, but they are out of line with my canon.

👀 colour me interested. And you’re welcome! I’m always here if you need any advice on this stuff. I’m still learning everything myself, ha, but it gets easier. It’s also been a really fun part of my day - I get to interact with saw fans + bring to life a character I like. It’s a win win.

im thinking about making a lawrence blog, but i dont know how in character i can be to post often… and ive never run a blog before… but i might…

I’ve never run a blog either before, well, before this one. You pretty much got to ask yourself like a few questions.

1. Why is he here?

Did he hear about it from somewhere? Does he go to therapy, if Lawrence is the type to seek therapy, and was he recommended some type of outreach? Does he go to the survivor groups, does he read the forums online and heard about the community here?

2. What kind of person is he now?

What did the trap change about him? Is he still set in his ways, but doing things different? What about his marriage, his daughter? His job? Again, is he the type to seek therapy or does he think he’s above it?

3. What kind of stuff would he post?

What is he really saying on here? Is this a space to be vulnerable where he can’t anywhere else? Is it to meet likeminded people? Is he reblogging silly oncology memes, or dad memes, or whatever? Does he read?

It’s your version of the character. He doesn’t have to be the same man Saw is portraying him as, because he’s only in a handful of movies with some plot. You can look at other blogs and draw inspiration, and you can also ask for help.

Tldr; the character is the shell and you make them whatever you want them to be. Whether it’s Lawrence or an oc or another character completely. As Adam, I’m making a lot of assumptions. And I don’t have it all figured out. But I don’t need to, I’m having fun.
