Monarda viridissima; a new and interesting variety for me that seems to bloom about two months after my more "typical" monardas (i.e., didyma) and is in fact still in bloom right now. While the hummingbirds don't seem to regard this as a nectar source, the bees certainly do, and its color and form are both highly unique. I think they look like miniature bromeliads!
