While running errands today, I found myself thinking about the Waterdeep and adventuring epilogues (as you do), and recalling how the narrator says that you're not sure if Gale loves you or researching/adventuring more, but when he looks at you you have your answer.

And just like, that's how big Gale's heart is, how unreservedly he loves. He can love everything and everyone he loves fully and completely, with not just interest but devotion. Whether it's you, his research, your adventures, his poetry, there's always enough of himself and his heart, to give over and over again, without limit.

I been seeing way too many people saying gale’s flirting is cringe or gives them the ick lately, but if you can’t handle the rizzard of waterdeep that’s on you. he’s literally the best boyfriend ever.

TIL druids are forbidden from teaching Druidic to non-druids...

but ok, Tav bickering w him like a (newly) married couple and they're off muttering to themselves in druidic and Gale, because let's be honest, he's too smitten to ever really be angry w them, is just cheerfully brushing it off like "yes, love you too 😊"

on the flipside, they give him a very sappy pet name that he'll never understand, but the love in their voice is all he needs to know.
