“The best way to honor the fallen is to end the wars that keep repeating.” — Kevin, Veterans For Peace
Kevin speaks not just as a veteran, but as a messenger of memory. On this D-Day, he reminds us that remembrance must lead to change. Peace is not passive — it’s a choice we make in how we respond to history.
We honor the past by shaping a different future.
🎖️ For those who served. For those who suffered. For peace.

“This isn’t just about history — it’s about the world we’re shaping now.” — Ashley, Veterans For Peace
Ashley speaks with courage and clarity: remembrance without reflection is hollow. We owe it to every voice lost and every life changed to chart a more just path forward.
Her words are a call — to honor through truth, to act through care.
🕊️ Let her voice echo beyond the past. vfpc61 | Instagram, Facebook | Linktree

Our chapter communication director @ashleycmsalazar spoke the following chapter statement to St. Louis KSDK news at the annual St. Louis Veterans Day parade.
“As Veterans for Peace, we stand in solidarity with the people of Gaza. The ongoing violence against civilians is a humanitarian crisis and must be called what it is-genocide. The destruction of lives and communities must end. We call for immediate action to stop the violence, provide humanitarian aid, and hold those responsible accountable. True peace comes through justice, not oppression. We stand for peace, justice, and the protection of all innocent lives.”
