“Where can I read this fanfic rewrite?”

“How many chapters will there be?”

For now, I plan for there be around 12-15 chapters in this fanfic, but that number could change later down the line.

“Where/when does this story take place in the timeline?”

When World Collide in this rewrite takes place 1 year after the season 4 finale. The Kavaxas arc and the Halloween arc have already happened too. I’ve moved around the arc order in season 5 to better fit the narrative I wanna tell for this rewrite. Also having the Halloween arc already happen better explains why Mikey has a communication device that allows him to stay in contact with Renet.

“Is Karai in the rewrite?”

No. I always thought Karai being in the special didn’t make sense. Her only real purpose was to be in the opening with Leo to show how lonely Raph is. Out of all the characters, she was only one there who had no beef or personal history with Newtralizer. Everyone else had a reason to be apart of the fight, while Karai was just… there. So I removed her from the story and replaced her with two other characters who actually have a reason to be there.

“Is Casey in the rewrite?”

Yes! Casey deserves to be in more arcs in season 5, it’s wild to me that he only appears in 2-3 out of the 7 arcs during the finale season.

"Is Slash in the rewrite?"

Also yes! It always bothered me when I first watched When Worlds Collide that Slash did not make an appearance, let alone get mentioned. I mean, he and Newtralizer were friends at one point! It made perfect sense for him to be there! Why was he not included?! So, I'm bringing him into the story.

“Why are Fugitoid's eyes purple in the fanfic cover? Aren't they supposed to be orange?”

Guess we’ll have to wait and see ;)

“Based on your timeline, how old are the Turtles and their friends?”

I'm basing the fanfic off my own headcanon timeline for the 2012 series. To sum it up: 1 season = 1 year, so by season 5 the Turtles are 19 years old, while April, Mona Lisa and Casey are all 20 years old.

“How old was Mona Lisa in the flashback chapter?”

5 years old.

“Will Mikey still be getting the electric powers?”

Not Mikey, but someone will be getting electric powers ;)

"Will *insert TMNT 2012 character appear in the rewrite?"

Some other TMNT 2012 characters will make some minor appearances or will get mentioned/referenced, but I won't say exactly who just yet. Spoils the fun, you know?
