I don't have the energy to draw him a lot these days, but I'm Austrian myself and have so many cute hcs and ideas for him djjfjdjdks Like my personal hc is that he comes from a rural area between salzburg, upper austria and tyrol called "Salzkammergut" specially the area around Badaussee, it's one of the prettiest areas of Austria in my opinion, and I like to imagine he spend alot of time hiking in the alps there. Funny enough, there is a mountain called "Loser"(pronounced differently than the English word) that I think he'd have hiked up to the top a few times. Many mountains in Austria have free roaming cow herds, and I imagine he loves to watch them(as I do too).

(Sorry if I rated too much, I just wanted to share some hcs from someone who lives in Austria hdhdjd)

The game is shit about lore, especially with König, where they amde one loading screen, called it colonel König(prop bc he was in the front and they were like ah he looks like he is in charge) and the fandom ran with it.

I like to hc him differently (mostly bc I developed my hcs before that loading screen was released and before his face model was leaked) but im all for going with whatever scraps they gave us, just have fun yall and go wild with this stuff in the end it's all fictional characters.

How old do you think König is?

Whew.... he's definitely middle-aged, I'll give you that. I like to think he's around 39 to 42, and a Lt Colonel (rank just below Colonel)

What I WILL say tho is that Activision is absolutely ATROCIOUS with keeping continuity. The 141 was formed at the end of 2019, but the famous Las Almas mission is in 2022, where Soap and Ghost talk like they're only just getting acquainted. But they've been on the same team for 3 years at that point. (I've got a whole page on my notes about the years and how they're kind of whack)

And for a lot of the characters, they're the same rank in flashbacks that are like, 3 or more years ago, and their ages can be inconsistent with the rank they hold, etc.

In short: headcanon your ranks and ages as you want, the actual COD lore is kind of inconsistent af so just use it as a suggestion 😭
