Ever-evolving, I craft verses inspired by the intangible—dreams, echoes, and the stories we never say aloud.

Piece for Peace
She keeps quiet to keep the peace, but With every unspoken word, Every conflict unresolved, Every feeling misconceived— She shatters her soul piece by piece.

You can choose choices but not outcomes.
― Matt Haig, The Midnight Library
Reality hit when I read this line from the book. It is indeed true. No matter what options are given to us, no matter what decisions we choose to make, it's not within our power to choose or know the outcome. No one really knows what happens next. There are lots of variables, that even a minute flick of a finger could make ripples throughout the course of our lives. So, this made me realize...that even if I had the chance to go back in time and choose a different choice or decision, there's no guarantee what my circumstance would've become. I wouldn't have known if I'd be happier or more successful. It's all the same. We go through life blindly. We may know the concept of cause-and-effect, but in life? Nothing is set in stone and we can't foresee anything at all.

Silence Unfolding
When does a feeling become a memory? When does a memory become a feeling? Does it make you smile when you remember— The moment you stood above your fears, The second your worries disappear?
How do you cope with the change? Do you ever feel estranged? What do you think of when you're alone? Is it your strength to carry on, or Is it your flaws that leave you torn?
You may not have the answers yet But sit in silence and reflect Questions asked will forge your mind Will hone your heart to be kind Then maybe fates will intertwine.

The World Unseen
I see it in every picture and every story, How bright their present appears, How their lives are absent of fears—
I see it every day, but I see it eyes closed.
I see it all through the corners of my screen, When they travel and hang out, When their lips are the opposite of pout—
I see it every day, but I see it eyes closed.
Seeing through my eyes is like a constant blur, I see things for what it is but, I feel it deep with a cut—
So whenever I see, I see it eyes closed.

Tides Unbound
Float, if you feel you're sinking Swim, if you think you're ready But don't ever pull yourself down In the trenches of your doubt.
Tread, if you can't touch the ground Dive, if you seek more answers But don't just go with the flow 'Cause everybody does so.
Smile, when others make it to shore Smile, when you make it to shore Even months or years apart Still, you know you both survived.
Look, how the waves seem different Listen, to the steady flow of current It matters not if it's dusk or dawn Still, the ocean is still an ocean.

Paths Untamed
You think you're running slow As you gaze upon someone Whose trek started ago—
Your pulse beat faster Your mind screams louder Run fast, run fast You can't finish last
You ask why it matters As you see yourself trying Not to lose your banner—
You say time will come You will not succumb Be calm, be still Your fate's in your will.

A World Unperceived
Six years and one, you take on life Like the playground it is— You run around laughing and jumping Take a time out when you're tiring Just a child living sans worries.
Pure and simple. All is seen.
Four years and two, you're asking now Who am I, who am I— Where do I fit in this manic crowd? Why am I different, can't speak aloud Am I old enough or still just a child?
Mixed and tangled. Nothing’s seen.
Four years till now, still you're asking What you want, who you are— You tried your best running the rat race But you ask for what was the chase, Are you strong enough to bear the scars?
Torn and beaten. Nothing’s seen.

Regret is a heavy word most of us carry on our backs as we grow older.
It piles up when time passes by and we question our past decisions, when we feel as if those decisions were the wrong ones.
What if I'd done this instead of that?
What would've happened if I took that opportunity?
What if I didn't say no?
What if I didn't say yes?
Eventually, questions would fill our minds with a hint of wonder, then a sense of longing, before it brings a shadow of unfulfillment.
I have my own Book of Regrets, though it remains unwritten.
Through this verse, however, I hope to let them go.
Piece by piece. Page after page.
Because as much as I'd like to see a different version of my life, all I have is now.
Now, where I still have time to do the things I want.
Now, where I still have the power to reach my dreams.
I might not get everything as I'd hoped,
But at least I have now.
I am here, and it's something to be thankful for.
