Alrighty gang, simple little post today just like the plan for today- simple:
Get all seminar stuff for the week complete
Get started on my essay
Get through some of Highway Code
Play some video games if I get that all done?
Simple list as I want to get my essay blasted through quick as can be!
Also the red velvet cake was BANGING! Forgot how much I loved baking.
Update time (end of the day):
Jesus Christ do I feel unproductive. I spent probably a total of 4 hours trying to study and ended up with only 20 minutes of actual looking over the material and stuff. This is the main reason why I think going to the physical uni library would help me study. I think I also need to learn how to look at material properly.
I at least tried making a strawberry smoothy? But I did also skip out on dinner which isn’t too good..
Better stuff tomorrow though. Mainly going in for lectures, study prep(?) and gym.

31.03.25- Cake is yummy af
So if you can’t tell from the title, I made some cake and it was/is yummy.


I first made the fruit cake on Friday and brought most of it to work where I got told that it was surprisingly good so yay on that? Also when my dad picked me up there was one slice left and he doesn’t like it so I was the good non-wasteful person I am and scoffed that cake down
You can probably tell that the second cake is a red velvet one. My friend mentioned wanting a fruit cake from Tesco and I was like “ooh sounds nice, see if my mum will buy one” but sadly all sold out. My food-based brain just thought “pfft just bake it yourself, done it before” and that’s just what I did. With much less mess to may I say!
Onto The Achievements!!!
Baked two cakes! Next thing I’m gonna bake is probably gonna be cupcakes? Maybe a lemon drizzle. If anyone’s got fun suggestions shoot away.
I asked a girl out! She said no..but that’s ok! Sort of glad I did as trying to live with less regrets ya know?
I’m going to gym a bit more which I like. But I’m needing more consistency so we’ll figure that out soon.
I also choked two guys out in a judo competition…so two wins for me there! The brown belt is just a grasp away and I’m dreading Wednesday (Grading day). But we shall survive.
And now the dreaded goals
More consistency with the gym. We’re going to build up to going 3/4 times a week alongside the judo.
Going to study a lot more, finish all my chapters for books and shit
More healthy habits in general. I want to be able to wake up, look in the mirror and say that I am not afraid to live.

[23.02.25]
Alrighty so it’s been a few, my apologies on that one, just been a bit hectic I guess.
First things first, got a judo competition on Sunday 🪦 so needing to ramp up the judo a good bit to prepare.
Secondly, was up at Dundee for a night out which was very fun and will hopefully be happening again. Had a discussion about our friend group, mental health issues, insecurities, the whole ball!
So we’ve only got a while to go for exams sadly so defo gonna need to ramp it up. Think I’m gonna start actively doing a study blog thingy.
Needing to help my dad tomorrow but I’ll still have time to study and gonna look at the financial stuff:
Read through the first 2 chapters needed I guess
Help my dad out
Study the judo a little bit for coaching

14.02.25- the day of love
Sup losers, partners and singles!
So today has been an alright ish day, got stuck on a seminar question and me and my friend were just like “bruh…what the hell have we done wrong”. Did we get that answered? No, we are still to be shown what is correct but that’s for Monday.
What was accomplished today:
I WENT TO THE GYM!
Did some fun Muay Thai
Did a few seminar questions
I got the template done for the stuff around variances which is rlly good
Worming tomorrow so not much to update on, will try to do some studying if I can but not a priority. Making plans for a hangout with a friend and her friend but due to different friends’ and how they were treated I feel like that may be problematic, but we shall deal with that later!
On a finishing note, last of the mohicans may play on a good few stereotypes but still got an awesome soundtrack!

14.02.25
Alright people!! So today has been an iffy day, went off weirdly as I decided when I woke up I was too tired for my class (which was prob true) so went back to sleep and missed my seminar and lecture, but made it for my last seminar.
Then went to judo where I actually did alright, feeling bit more confident in it all which is good.
Didn’t get much of the list done except Duolingo and some tidy up.
Plan for tomorrow:
Go to uni and class
Study for the next wee bit before Muay Thai
Sign up for my uni gym (ITS FREE!) and do that right after
Read some of Onyx Storm
Cry at my lack of valentines *cries in single-person
ALSO! Completely forgot until I posted, entered into the ‘Tough Mudder’ 15K in June so that’s gonna force me to definitely get my stamina and cardio up so that’ll be fun. Hopefully going to have some updates about that.

11.02.25- R.I.P to the precious fruit cake
If you can’t tell, the fruit cake is now all gone (except the slice in the freezer). Next on the list for baking/cooking something new I think will be a White Chocolate & Strawberry sponge cake if I can. Anyone got any other suggestions?
Today has been..a day, nothing too much. Woke up early for my 9AM start at uni and then had my two lectures, got home and laid in bed (napped) for probably too long.
I didn’t go to the gym but I have got a timetable for when I want stuff done which should help me be more organised.
Dinner was fun though, had some fish and roasted tomatoes which was new with some other things.
Also tried a Popeyes for the first time and it’s actually quite alright for the price of it.
Duolingo was achieved!!
Plan for tomorrow:
Gym in the morning
Studying and looking over the uni book
Judo! Got a competiton in a few weeks and then a national students one after that so wanting to get as much practice as I can now
Onwards and upwards troops! We shall not succumb to the sadness of normalcy!

09.02.25-Cake day
So it’s almost 1 o clock at night and we’re just finishing up making the cake! After many wrong ingredients being bought, distractions arising and forgetting times of timers the fruit cake has finally been made!
Next time I’m making something new I’m going to make sure to write down the recipe in a clear step-by-step format that works for me as the one I was reading off at the start was a bit more general instead of “step 1, step 2…” style.
Today has been decent enough, not much has been done really but I’m finally feeling satisfied with it.
I think I’ll try to update every second day or similar since updating every day has been a bit of a stretch since I’m always busy at night.
Stuff done:
Duolingo a tad
BAKED A MFUDGING CAKE
Helped a friend with something
Plan for tomorrow/today is:
Be awake and up before 10
Make a full on list of things to be done
Try to get into town and study for a while
Judo and then more judo *sarcastically excited yays*
Eat cake
Suddenly realising I’ve got a dish right beside me that I didn’t clean when doing my whole haul 😭

08.02.25
Well the past few days have been a slight disaster in terms of baking as can be seen:
On Friday went to shops to get all ingredients for a fruit cake which was splendid
When I got back realised I didn’t have any ground ginger so walked back to the shops, and somehow ended up getting cinnamon cos I’m an idiot 🤦♂️
So asked my mum to get some today while at work, ended up getting ground clover.
So now that’s two days wasted of hoping and now two spares at least
HOWEVER, I did finally get the package sent away for my shin guards (ignore that it took about a month). Least that happened!
So today and yesterday have been a bit of a (major) disappointment but onwards and upwards!
So stuff that successfully happened
Sent away my package
Got my duolingo done
Went to Muay Thai and nearly got kicked in the balls, always fun
Do some slight studying
Plan for tomorrow is to do all the things on my Sunday list (typical cleaning, tidying, preparing for seminars), have additional thoughts on asking a friend to hangout, get some drinkable spirits that are always loved by uni students!

05.02.25- Busy busy busy
So obviously yesterday was slightly busy in the later part, however did nothing in the morning which was annoying.
Things that got done:
Did some seminar prep
Did some judo and got closer to doing a handstand!
Finally got my passport countersigned and stuff
Tidied up room but still messy
Todays plan is:
Go into uni and get prepared for it all
Do some studying afterwards
Either go to judo or the gym
Get any small things that need done done

04.02.25- Wassup Everybody!
So today has actually been semi decent! Woke up a bit late and missed my first lecture but I went to the gym and a wee bit of alcohol has been had! Feeling pretty good at the end of today I think, hoping the same with you!
So it’s looking good in terms of what I’ve done today:
Went to the gym, did some leg stuff and then ran home
Successfully went to the post office place and got me a postage bag for my shin guards that need exchanged (too big)
Did Duolingo French
Turns out I can’t go to Lille in France for the exchange which is a bit of a bitch, trying to avoid Paris cos money💰
Did some notes in bullet journal but probably could’ve done more
And finally updated here so it’s lovely seeing you all (the one person who liked❤️)

Plan for tomorrow is:
wake up
Do some studying
Tidy up the room
Organise sending off my parcel
And off to judo we go!
Can’t really think of anything else to add, though I think I got some decent enough shots of the fried rice I made tonight!

03.02.25- Hello Big blue world!
Seeing other people’s blogs have given me the confidence to try out posting and so I present to you: Ladies, Gentleman, other anthropoids, my hideous creation of love!
Starting of the blog tonight is a delectable little summary of what we have and then the SHIT that must (sadly) get done.
I’m thinking we’ll have the to-do lists, a little on how the days go and try to get some good photos here and there! Also if I can ever get around to it I’ll mention how my baking and cooking journey goes!
Main things to get done that shall be done:
Go to the post office and get me a postage bag! As anytime I go there it seems something is in the way! But it shall be done.
Get the first chapters of all my reading done for uni (kill me now)
Go for a run and to the gym
Research stuff for going to France 🇫🇷
And naturally, some Duolingo for French
Notes done in bullet journal
Update here ig? At least one thing would get done
I think that’s a fairly good list, any tips are always handy, self deprecating humour even more!
Also please don’t expect consistency, as I have proven to myself time and time again, consistency is a thing that just never works too well for me :(. BUT WE SHALL SURVIVE.
Todays been pretty lazy tbh, got up late and helped out at judo class, then had the adults class and god there is reason why I’ve been needing a haircut, the sweat was DRIPPING and it was dreadful.
