There was literally an episode about how letting him start a hoard at his age was a bad idea, lol!

But yeah, Twilight really should’ve encouraged him to hang out with the other kids. Would’ve been better for him long term. I mean, Spike hangs out with Angel Bunny in the early comics.

Regardless of if you stick to canon or view them as mother and son, Twilight really needed more moments of treating Spike like the baby dragon he was, including encouraging him to play with other kids when there weren’t chores to do instead of reading comic books by himself. She kinda dialed that back after the first couple of seasons.

Probably because Hasbro didn’t want a main character to be a single parent, but that didn’t stop them from doing it with Hitch in G5.

Meanwhile dog Spike just has to deal with biting guys and getting belly rubs from his Twilight and Sunset after they have their sleepovers to make up for having him sleep in a different room that night.

Funny Idea/Headcanon: Tempest being so unaccustomed to romantic feelings of any kind that she briefly thinks she’s attracted to Cadence, when in reality it’s just a mixture of admiration and gratitude (luckily she’s the Princess of Love, and is therefore used to this; she even acts as a little love guide to navigate her real feelings for Glitter Drops)

Tempest expressing romantic feelings by saying "I would kill for you if you requested, and I would not question your commands" Making dinner very uncomfortable, whoever she's with. Invited to a dinner in the palace with Dropsy and being open about assassinating the Princess if glitter drops asked. Or she's the kind of gal that says "Leave my school" to those she loves lmao.
