I LIVE!!!

Sorry for being away for so long, we got our internet fixed and then life decided to hit us like a ton of bricks @_@ However, while things are still a little hectic it's a lot better now, so I should, in theory, be able to get back to translating songs. I'll probably end up doing the ones I'm more familiar with for now, just until I'm back in the swing of things, than I'll go back to the more obscure ones.

Two DLC Packs Drop This Week!

First off we got the second DLC pack for the Western release coming out on the seventh! So as not to make this post too long, you can find the details here.

The second pack releasing this week is the third and final pack in Japan. It, of course, is releasing on Miku Day (3/9)! As we’ve known for a while now, this pack comes with the four songs アマツキツネ (Celestial Fox), 1925, ピアノ×フォルテ×スキャンダル (PIANO×FORTE×SCANDAL), and ヒビカセ (Resonate). 1925 and PIANO×FORTE×SCANDAL will also have all the optional voices just like in mirai! As for modules, we’re getting all the song modules, excluding one for Resonate as it is the original Nico PV. And like I speculated a while back, this pack also includes the pajama party modules from mirai!

Will there be a second season pass? I have no idea, I’ve looked through both the Japanese blog post and the official web site and haven’t found anything saying yes or no. I personally hope they continue the DLC, and keep it current with the Arcade until either it or the PS4 gets replaced by their next version. We'll just have to wait and see, the first season pass was announced around August, so I would expect if there is second pack, it would be announced around the same time.

Internet Update

It finally seems to be fixed after who knows how many visits from the Spectrum workers, finally! So hopefully things will get back to normal. Except for Friday, I’m busy next Friday, Saturday and Sunday, but after that my post schedule should be back to normal!

Update to my last Update

This is a side blog, so I can’t re-blog from here, but I found out something about my internet provider. You can check it out on my main if you want. But the short of it is, I doubt things with be “fixed” tomorrow, so there might not be an update on Friday after all. This gif is more appropriate to my internet situation than I originally thought.

Blog Update

Long story short: we changed our internet provider a little over a week ago and the service stinks. Sites are laggy to the point where most are unusable, and the internet completely goes out from time to time ranging anywhere from a minute to an hour and a half. In other words I can’t access the Japanese lyrics to any of the songs, or any of my dictionaries. I’m also very lucky that tumblr is even working right now and letting me post this. Anyway, they’re supposedly coming tomorrow to fix said issue, hopefully it will work and I’ll have a new translation up on Friday. Until then I need something to vent my frustration...

Yeah that should work.

Western DLC for FT is LIVE!!!

Sorry for no translation yesterday, I was no where near my computer over the weekend, and I had the worse internet connection yesterday ><

Anyway, for those of you who were patient enough to get the Western release of Future Tone, today's your lucky day! The season pass and first DLC pack are live in the PlayStation Store! Everything is exactly the same as the Japanese ones, so if you get the season pass, you'll get the profile avatars. The first pack, for those who weren't keeping track of the Japanese release, has four songs: Ageage Again, shake it!, Cendrillon, and Adolescence, along with the default modules for the songs with the bonus modules of Miku's Supreme, MiCrystal, and Emerald, Luka's Ruby, and Teto's M.S.J. In addition to several accessories and Extra Extreme levels.

Full Magical Mirai Contest Details

The full rules have been released for the Magical Mirai Song Contest. It would seem that they are the same as the Miku Expo Contest held a couple years back. Except this time you have to post on Piapro instead of Sound Cloud, with the a locked tag of “マジカルミライ ２０１７＿楽曲” . There’s also a free demo of Miku’s V4x for everyone to use if you don’t already have her.

Is it world wide? Well, there’s nothing I’ve found saying that it isn’t. So, I’m assuming it’s fine for people outside of Japan to enter, similar to how it’s okay for anyone to enter the Snow Miku design contest. So everyone open up your DAW’s and start composing!

Fun fact, in the Project DIVA PV it appears that Miku uses sign language. I'm currently unsure of what she's signing, or if she's even signing at all, though I assume if she is, she's doing the lyrics of the song. I'll keep looking into it, and if I find anything I'll update this description. Or maybe one of you guys know whether or not she's signing/what she is signing? Feel free to send it in, I'll be sure to credit you ;)

Magical Mirai Song Contest!

Crypton Future Media has just announced a song contest for this year’s Magical Mirai! All we know so far are the prizes and the timeframe, but all the details will be revealed on February 3rd. The grand prize winner will have their song sung at the concert, tickets to the concert as well as merch, and ¥100,000 worth of products from SONICWIRE. While the runner up will receive ¥30,000 worth of products from SONICWIRE. The contest will run from February 3rd to April 3rd, so everybody get ready to start composing!

Fun fact, this song was actually made for a Google Chrome commercial! Remember back when they did that Search Stories series? Yeah, it was for one of those. This is the reason why Miku's Linkage module has those glowing blue, red, yellow, and green patches, they're a reference to the Chrome logo. If you want to see the original commercial, here's a link.

Sorry for no translation yesterday, I was out all day buying stuff for a cosplay I'm working on and didn't get to post anything >< But I will hopefully have the song up sometime later today. In the mean time, this month’s update for Project DIVA Arcade has been announced! Unfortunately we aren't getting any new songs, but we are getting some cute modules. Specifically all of the Pajama Party modules from Project mirai! I'm curious to see if we'll be getting these in the 3rd DLC pack for the PS4 port, since it seems a little small compared to the other packs when it comes to extra non-song specific modules.

FT’s 3rd DLC Pack Playable at Snow Miku

Snow Miku 2017 is right around the corner, and with it comes game demos! Along with VR Future Live, it's been announced that Project DIVA Future Tone and it's third DLC pack will be playable early at the event! So far, the only images for this pack show PIANO×FORTE×SCANDAL and the Snow Miku 2017 module, but this does give us a good guess as to what we can expect in the third pack when it eventually becomes available in March. We should at least be getting everything that released in the arcade from October to December of last year. That means four songs, OSTER project's PIANO×FORTE×SCANDAL, Reol's Resonate, marasy's Celestial Fox, and T-POCKET's 1925. We should, of course, be getting all of the recommended modules for these songs, along with the bonus module of Snow Miku 2017. As well as all of the customize items and extra extreme levels released in that time frame. We won’t know for sure though, until Snow Miku happens next month, or until they announce the contents of the pack officially.
