The reason MGTOW didn't work has nothing to do with women realising men don't have anything good to offer. It might feel like it was the case because as you realised men didn't offer anything better than platonic relationships you already had, you might be inclined to consume content that align with your bias. But when you put down your phone, you realise that most women in your life still seek relationship with men. Men repeating the 80/20 thing is not prove that they recognise they have nothing to offer. The number itself came from a data pulled from a dating app which do not reflect real life dating at all. As feminists, you shouldn't give any legitimacy to this manosphere/incel talking points even if on the surface it looks like it could serve your argument in the moment. It only serves the patriarchy, and in the end doesn't capture the reality that so many women didn't have a say in their own marriage.
Please also read that post critically, the numbers for single women vs single men home buyers are apparently only apply for first time buyers in USA. Also generally, lifetime income of single men is still higher than single women. Don't forget that pay gap still exist. That aside, please remember that there are still many women all over the world who don't have equal job opportunities or even access to their own wealth, forcing them to be dependent on men.
MGTOW is largely failing because as a branch of manosphere, it still puts emphasise on masculinity and traditional male expectations. Meaning the proponents still do the things the patriarchy convince them will attract women; Having lots of money, expensive cars, branded watches, etc. Except it evolved into flexing culture and gestures to one-up your bros. Like how some 4B women on here put down het-partnered women, MGTOW men are also putting down other men that don't align with them, only it's worse because they also put down other MGTOW men who are deemed less successful in their mgtowness. It's extreme individualism with no real community beyond venting in forums about their shared hatred against women.
MGTOW spawned and maintained largely on the internet, the proponents don't do any real life activism and organise to uplift the group they claim to care about. No systemic problem analysis, no community and resource building, no alternatives. When you don't organise, the group you advocate for do not feel the impact of what you're doing, leading to lack of interest to the movement itself. The failing of MGTOW has nothing to do with men not having any value to offer in relationship.
Why Men’s version of 4B (MGTOW) will never work

There must be another person that I can't see right now you're arguing with because I don't mock men in my activism. Criticising men as a group is not the same as hating them as people but from our several reblogs you had to make up things about me just to have a talking point so that kinda shoes where your intelligence is (it's quite low). Keep accusing me of being mad though, it's clearly a projection because I said Idgaf about misandry.

A man is "deformed" if a limb or feature is missing or severely skewed from the human phenotype. Where women do not fit the Iron Maiden, we are now being called monstrous, and the Iron Maiden is exactly that which no woman fits, or fits forever. A woman is being asked to feel like a monster now though she is whole and fully physically functional. The surgeons are playing on the myth's double standard for the function of the body. A man's thigh is for walking, but a woman's is for walking and looking "beautiful.” If women can walk but believe our limbs look wrong, we feel that their bodies cannot do what they are meant to do; we feel as genuinely deformed and disabled as the unwilling Victorian hypochondriac felt ill.
The tragedy of this reclassification is that for most of our history, women have indeed suffered from illness— prolapsed uteri, early death from ovarian cysts, untreatable venereal diseases and vaginal infections; poor hygiene, ignorance, shame, and compulsory yearly pregnancy took their toll. Compared with that, women are now miraculously, unprecedentedly well—but the myth denies us the experience of our wellness. Only a generation after the physical disease of femaleness had ended, the new possibility of ease in the female body was ruined for women by the beauty myth.
Recycled rhetoric about female disease insults women's healthy bodies: When a modern woman is blessed with a body that can move, run, dance, play, and bring her to orgasm; with breasts free of cancer, a healthy uterus, a life twice as long as that of the average Victorian woman, long enough to let her express her character on her face; with enough to eat and a metabolism that protects her by laying down flesh where and when she needs it; now that hers is the gift of health and well-being beyond that which any generation of women could have hoped for before—the Age of Surgery undoes her immense good fortune. It breaks down into defective components the gift of her sentient, vital body and the individuality of her face, teaching her to experience her lifelong blessing as a lifelong curse.

If you care about sexism, good. I only care about misogyny, like I said. I don't care about misandry. "Gender equality" is already hijacked by MRA like you into making the public believe men as a group have it harder than women. What I care about is female liberation. I call out disgusting behaviour from feminists when I think it's necessary but calling out any and all sexism is not in my agenda. If it's your agenda, good. Keep doing that. You can't force me to care about the same thing you care about. See that you keep finding ways to argue with me in the post you claimed you supposedly not have problems about. In case it isn't clear again, I don't care about the foetus that much. I'm neutral about it. It's the woman having a miscarriage I care about. Nice try wording it as "dead little boys". It's a foetus. It's a miscarriage. That thing died before it was even a full person. You seem to struggle understanding the difference between criticising men as a group and individual men. What I often do is the former, not the latter. But you think individual things vile women do means men as a group are as oppressed as women. Also, don't hide shit in the tags. This post is not about misandry. It's about radfem cheering women having a miscarriage. Keep seething about misandry though. I don't give a shit.

Tell me where in this post I said women are weak and helpless. This post is about women having to go through a miscarriage because of less than ideal condition during pregnancy. Why do you feel the need to derail to other topics other than miscarriage of male foetus?
And I do call out other feminists for celebrating the death of children regardless of sex or gender. Like what I do here. But no, that's not what you want isn't it? Even in the posts where I do call out disgusting behaviour from fellow feminists you still find the chance to whine about your ready-to-copy-paste talking point about male shelters and gendered definition of rape. Maybe you should focus on calling out rampant misogyny (you know, the fact that femicide prevalence is higher than accidental death of male foetus) and be a decent human being. How about that?

I know reading is not your strong suit but I don't give a shit about inequalities and sufferings that men experience under the sytem that they built and maintain. I care about the women that have to go through miscarriages, especially if the babies are wanted. As for male foetus, I just find it weird to rejoice over the death of something that can't even be hold as a moral agent yet. Not because I care about whether it can be born or not. Unless you find me explicitly cheering the death of already-born boys, you can't call me a hypocrite, like what you're trying to do here.

this is not the first time this has happened. in india, employers who hire people for help with farm work make their poor female workers get hysterectomies so that they don't miss work due to mensuration or pregnancy. to prey upon someone who really really needs that job and make them get a hysterectomy without the women knowing the consequences is just diabolical. hell isn't hot enough for these employers.

“Helen Gorrill, the author of Women Can’t Paint, has studied the prices of 5,000 paintings sold all over the world and found that for every £1 a male artist earns for his work, a woman earns a mere 10p. “It’s the most shocking gender value gap that I’ve come across in any industry at all,” she told me for a BBC Radio 4 documentary, Recalculating Art.
It really is shocking. For some time, women have made up 70% of students in art college, selected on merit, and the art world prides itself on its liberal, progressive values. Yet it presides over the biggest pay gap I can think of.
Gorrill stumbled across another startling finding. While the value of a work by a man rises if he has signed it, the value of a work by a woman falls if she has signed it, as if it has somehow been tainted by her gender. “That’s just absolutely mind-blowing,” she says”

My biggest takeaway from Invisible Women is you cannot read it and maintain the delusion that women are oppressed on the basis of gender rather than sex.
Medication, crash test dummies, office temperature - these things affect you on the basis of your sex, and claiming a different gender doesn't change any of it, nor does it challenge the systems and structures that are built to put women at a disadvantage. If every woman on earth woke up tomorrow and realized they were non-binary or trans men, they would still be at a significant disadvantage compared to men.
We have to fight female oppression on the basis of sex, or all we'll do is change the label for which half of the population is default and which is afterthought without any actual change.

I would also like to add that the few late term abortions that do happen are due to medical emergencies. Either the woman is very ill or the fetus is dying/dead inside of her. How Republicans are so stupid they unironically think women are getting abortions when they’re six months pregnant purely for funsies I will never understand but I figured I should clarify in the caption in case an idiot like that pops up and decides to criticize my post.

‘Slut-Shaming’ Isn’t the Only Reason People Blame Rape Victims — and It’s Time We Talk About That.
We need to have an honest conversation: rape culture is not just built on slut-shaming. That’s part of it, yes. But it's deeper, more insidious, and woven into the very foundation of how society views power, gender, and control.
Rape victims aren’t just blamed because of what they wore or how many partners they’ve had. They’re blamed because this world is built to protect male power at all costs. Because admitting a woman was violated means admitting a man did something wrong and society will do mental gymnastics to avoid holding men accountable.
Radical feminism doesn’t stop at “teach boys not to rape.” It asks:
Why is male entitlement so deeply embedded that men believe they have a right to women’s bodies in the first place?
Why is violence normalized as masculinity?
Why are women told to prevent rape rather than men being taught they are not entitled to sex?
Victim-blaming is a mechanism of control. It's how patriarchy gaslights women into silence. It tells us, "You must have done something to deserve this." And when we internalize that? The system wins.
This isn’t just about "bad guys" in dark alleys. It's about the "nice guy" at school, the boss, the friend, the boyfriend the men we are taught to trust, even when our gut screams otherwise.
Radical feminism sees this. We aren’t just demanding justice. We’re demanding a new world.
