long time no see

to anyone following me you can notice i haven't posted in quite a few months. and if you follow any of my other socials you'll notice I don't post homestuck anymore. yes this is like? The 3rd time? I left due to a general unhealthy connection to my hs hyperfixation and because the fandom was starting to annoy my little barfy baby brain. this isn't a farewell post because I've been gone from the fandom for months but more just a post of where others can find me. I've pursued oc careers and actually have a comic I've been working on for a few months with close to 90 pages done and posted! you can find it under the user vestfrankcomic on this very site! there also has the rest of my socials in my pinned. thank you to everyone who supported me on this account and everyone who will keep up with my art journeys! appreciate you lots!

Last song listened to: Be my Everything (English Version). It’s a solo song from one of the members of a K-pop group named Purple Kiss, and it’s fantastic! Great vocals, even though I do prefer the other song from the single more.

Currently Watching: Nashville (2013) and the new season of The Dragon Prince. I only have one episode of Nashville left and it’s the finale, so that’s pretty sad. I’m three episodes into season 5 of Dragon Prince and really liking it! I’m glad the animation has improved since the beginning.

Currently Reading: Nothing now. I just finished Dear Mothman by Robin Gow and loved it though! It is written for young teens, but it’s a really great queer narrative and is written through some very nice free verse poetry.

Current Obession: It’s mainly Skyrim (liked it so much I made a Tumblr blog for it, after all), but since I talk a lot about that, I’ll also mention Hollow Knight. I’m playing it right now and it’s very hard, but very good! I like how little handholding it does.

okay so this isn't canon that jack feels a fatherly duty towards jade like his spades slick counterpart does with karkat BUT I still firmly belive that as how bec acted as sort of an unconventional guardian for jade and now jack was bec for some amount of time and felt the same loyalty I feel it would only make sense for them to have the same relationship with bec and jade. except for bec noir is part carapacian so instead of like a guard dog duties it's like father duties. though jacks fatherly duties are a tad more toxic as in when he sees that his "daughter" has been killed he goes on a literal killing spree with the red miles but yknow same thing. most of this is just headcanon but it's still somewhat rooted in canon if you spend your free time digging into jack noirs lore.
