UK Election 2019 - Who Wins?
For a UK Prime Minister to demand an election within two years of the last one he or she generally has to be pretty confident they can win. However the bookmakers have had hung parliament as the favourite outcome in the next UK General Election - Overall Majority betting market for quite some time now.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson has rolled the dice in calling this unusual Winter election and for a short while the money followed his bold move, showing a Conservative majority as the most favoured outcome once the election was finally confirmed. Today however we see No Overall Majority top of the betting once more, with a significant swing directly corresponding with Brexit Party leader Nigel Farage’s Friday press conference announcing he intends to field candidates across the country.
It is generally believed that Brexit Party candidates will siphon votes from Conservatives standing in the same constituencies, with both parties competing for the same voters who backed Leave in the 2016 referendum.
So does that mean the UK should expect to see a new government in place for the new year? The bookies say don’t bank on it, with odds on a Conservative Majority government streets ahead of the closest competing outcome, that of a Labour Minority. But of course the bookies, like the pollsters, don’t always get it right and there’s still plenty to play for in this election campaign.
