Everyone asks “how do you stay on track” — here’s how. Take what fits. Ignore the rest.
1. Delay the decision.
Set a 30-minute timer. If it still matters after, fine. But most things don’t survive the wait.
2. Log everything.
You forget less when it’s in writing. Numbers > feelings.
3. Use small utensils.
Takes longer. Feels like more. Slows everything down.
4. Ice water. Always.
Cold = alert. Also makes the other thoughts quieter.
5. Mint > sugar.
If you want something sweet, go sharp instead. Gum, tea, oil, whatever.
6. Clean first.
Before anything else, tidy. It helps recalibrate.
7. Stand when you can.
Passive movement still counts. Don’t sit unless you’re earning it.
8. Plan out loud.
Even if no one’s there, narrate the plan. Hearing it makes it real.
9. Brush your teeth.
Twice minimum. It resets the mouth. You’ll want less.
10. Delay “first intake” as long as possible.
Once it starts, it gets harder to stop.

If it’s not in your space, it can’t tempt you.

okay so i didn’t eat and i’m… not dying?? weird.
hunger used to make me feel like the world was ending. like i was gonna faint, cry, scream, or punch someone in the throat.
now i just… float?
here’s what helped (aka how i gaslight myself into chill):
🫧 step 1: it’s a feeling, not a command.
like. “i’m hungry” doesn’t mean “i have to eat.”
it’s like when ur phone buzzes and you don’t answer.
same shit.
🫧 step 2: drink cold water like it’s saving your life.
bonus points if it makes your stomach slosh and you feel like a full water balloon. drinking ice cold water actually burns calories since it takes energy to bring the water to a temp that’s right for digestion if that makes sense
🫧 step 3: pretend the hunger is a high.
like i’m levitating. like my stomach is hollow in a cute, expensive way.
like… there’s nothing to digest bc i’m pure now.
🫧 step 4: breathe. no, like actually breathe.
don’t white-knuckle your way through it. relax your jaw.
put on a song that makes you feel like a ballet ghost or a 90s heroin chic corpse and just vibe. I literally have a playlist for everything now
🫧 step 5: stop panicking about “what if i break my fast.”
you’ll be fine either way. but rn you’re winning.
and it’s okay to like that.
i like being a little cold.
i like when my stomach growls and it feels like it’s cheering for me.
i like feeling above it all.

Pls tell me im not the only one who genuienly hatws having a good day. Everytime i have a good day, something bad HAS to happen. It HAS to.
