uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh i just be readin shit and going "ok I'll incorporate that into my truth system". Two books that means a lot to me for different reasons are:
The Last Girl Scout by @natalieironside (Post-Apoc trans women killing nazi vampires)
Wrath Goddess Sing by Maya Deane (Achillies is transfemme and the book is a spell)
What I've been reading lately:
Vengeance Feminism by Kali Gross (Current. Non-Fiction/History, Black women using violence to protect themselves/their honor)
All The Black Girls Are Activists by ebonyjanice (Non-Fiction - Fourth-Wave Womanism and Theology. Another poetry compilation from this will come out eventually)
All Boys Aren't Blue by George M. Johnson (Non-Fiction - A "memoir manifesto" by a Black enby)
Black Liturgies by Cole Arthur Riley (Non-Fiction. What it says on the tin. I converted some to be non-religious in an essay for Dream Johnson)

I am pleased that the reviewers are correct and the hype is well deserved. Uketsu's Strange Pictures is really good. Approach the book without reading the synopsis or summary for heightened enjoyment.
