Half of my playthrough is just building and rebuilding and repairing my one mining ship that either gets too heavy or experiences the consequences of my hubris (flying too fast). The other half is spent alt+tabbed while I wait for my full survival kit/refinery to finish processing stone so I can load more into it.
Space Engineers as a game is the final boss of open world games, see the planet over there? Want to go there? Build a space ship. Attempt to fly off the planet you’re currently on, crash, cry. Repeat until you reach orbit. Guess what you’re out of hydrogen. And your solar panels arn’t enough to keep your ship powered. Time to go find uranium in space rocks. Build a nuclear reactor, (don’t make radiation shielding cause you’re just built different) and then crash, cry, repeat. Get fucking destroyed by some weak ass pirate drones, add some guns to your ship. Realize that the planet is several thousand fucking kilometres away. Cry again. Give up and play creative mode.
#space engineers#space ship? more like space- oh no I crashed again.#keensoftware#not even escaping gravity

what are fish
Fish are a prank by Ichthyoscratchi, the god of convergent evolution. There's not really such a thing as "fish," but rather a ton of various utterly unrelated creatures that all evolved into roughly the same thing. Just look at this:

That's a South Fudlian Skunkfish. Then look at this one:

That's NOT a North Fudlian Skunkfish! That's a Non-Reticulated Norwegian Loogiedrip. Not only are they not closely related, they are as genetically different from each other as humans are from bananas. And not even those humanoid fleshy bananas they have at Whole Foods. The old bananas like you see in Donkey Kong Country games.
How about these two here:

Think they're the same species? Nope. Not even the same genus, family, order, class, or even phylum. On the left is a Phlebotomous Zebraflanked Wooting Cludslurper, on the right is a Spood. One is edible. Other kills you if you smell it across a high school gym.
"Fish," what a scam.

I keep hearing the phrase "A poor craftsman blames his tools", but I would posit that some great craftsmen just opt to use the worst tools possible just to see if they can.

A cooking tip I will definitely consider, and then promptly forget because I almost never have time to make anything with caramelized onions. (This would allow me to have more time to make things with caramelized onions in them)
i need you to be aware that you can make a giant batch of caramelized onions to keep in the freezer and defrost at will. that is legal and they can't stop you. they can't take this from you
