“I saved a piece for you,” Sam smiled as he placed a donut on JJ’s desk, “not a piece, a whole donut.” He pulled out a chair and sat down, waiting for a reaction from his cousin.

“Thank you,” JJ replied, “but I still don’t get how you got in here, since I didn’t let you in, in my office or the building�� Sam rubbed a hand against the back of his neck, “you see,” he began, trying to figure out what to say, “the building was easy.” JJ raised an eyebrow and looked at him, “yeah, easy, if you don’t want me to visit you at work, and be an awesome agent in training, you should really tell the team you are working with not to give me a visitor badge,” he said and held up the badge. “Especially your boss, and Ma’am hacks-a-lot, they love me.” JJ sighed, and shook her head, hiding her face in her hands before she made sure to look at Sam and keep his eyes locked with hers. “What did you promise them in return for letting you in the building and my office?” Sam tried his best to look away but there was something about the way JJ looked at him, it kind of reminded him of his mother, and that could be scary at times. “Nothing really, just some stories about your college years and how you could have gone pro if you know, there was a chance back then.”  JJ rested her elbows on the deks, and rubbed her fingers against her temple, trying to not get angry and Sam. “You don’t think you might have exaggerated some of my soccer abilities, and I was never interested in going pro.” She made sure to look at him, “that explains the building.” “I knocked and you said come in,” Sam replied, lips pressed together as he looked at her, “so I walked in, it’s not that hard. I think you expected someone else or you just said come in because you normally do it.” Sam smiled at her, “but I did save a piece for you,” he titled his head to the side, “so it’s going to be fine, and I’m also supposed to tell you, not to work too late because something is waiting for you at home. I’m not sure on what it means, but it was your boss slash girlfriend that said it.”

A small breath left Sam’s lips as he looked around the kitchen. He had been in this same kitchen more times than he cared to count, but this time it was different. Of course he had seen some of the new things in the kitchen, they had been added when Carina had moved in, but he hadn’t actually seen them being used, until now. The kitchen, the whole apartment felt more lived in now, and Sam was happy, both for himself, and for his cousin. “So what are we making?” he asked and moved off the chair to the counter where Carina stood.

A Friendly Neighbor

There was a knock on the door, and JJ let out a sigh and she pushed herself off the couch, drying her fingers off against the shirt. She knew that she didn’t look her best, and she didn’t want any company, but she had a feeling that if she didn’t get the door, it would continue knocking. She opened the door, “what are you doing here?” she asked, and looked at Emily. 

“I was in the neighborhood.”  JJ tilted her head to the side, looking at Emily, “so you lost, you got the short straw,” she said, “stop by and make sure JJ is doing good.” “No,” Emily began, and tried to get inside, “like I said I was in the neighborhood, and I thought I should check in.” A small breath left her lips, “and from the looks of it, it’s a good thing.” “I’m fine,” JJ replied, “so you can leave.” She pushed her fingers through her hair, and to her surprise, she found a cheeto in her hair.  “I can tell,” Emily replied, sarcasm in her voice, “and if you are doing fine, why don’t you let me in, and we can order something to eat.” “I’m not hungry.” “Okay,” Emily replied with a sigh as she looked at JJ, “I*m coming in, and you can tell me about everything, because as much as you try to deny it,” she licked her lips, “you’re not fine, and you haven’t talked about what happened.” “I’m not going to talk about it.” “Okay, so don’t, let’s eat and drink some wine,” she replied, and walked past JJ, and she took a look inside the apartment, and she was right JJ wasn’t fine, and the blonde also needed to talk about what had happened to her. It wasn’t the first time she tried to get JJ to talk to her, this time she wasn't going to leave until at least JJ had said something about what she had been through.  “Emily,” JJ said, her voice soft, almost small, “why are you here?” “I’m here because I care about you, and I know you’re not fine and you need to talk about what happened during the Henkel case, because you haven’t talked about it with anyone.” “I can agree to food and wine,” JJ said, “for now.”

Stay With Me

“Stay over.” Mia stopped in her tracks, and slowly turned around, she had done what she was supposed to do, she had gotten Lena home, and she was safe now. Someone else would take over for the night and stand guard by the door and Mia would be back in the morning. She took a breath, and wet her lips. “Are you sure?” she asked, Mia knew what she was trying to imply, she wouldn’t do anything that wasn’t okay with Lena. 

“Yes, I’m sure, Ms. Smoak,” Lena began, “I wouldn’t have told you to stay if I didn’t mean it.” Mia nodded her head, “Okay, I just wanted to make sure, then I’ll let them know that they don’t need to stand guard tonight.” Mia knew what she needed to say. She took a couple of steps forward, taking Lena’s hands in her own, and pulled her forward, “tell me to stop if I do anything you don’t want me to.”  Lena nodded her head, “I don’t think you can do anything I don’t want to.” “If you are sure, Ms. Luthor,” Mia replied, and leaned forward, pressing her lips against the other woman’s her arms wrapped around her body, holding her close, and as she pulled back, “I’ll call them,” she said, and ran a hand down her back, “and then we can get back to this.” Mia kissed her again.  A smile played over her lips as she pulled out her phone, calling the security guard that was supposed to have been on duty, to let him know that he wasn’t needed, and that she herself had it covered. Mia put away her phone, and pulled off the jacket and put it to the side, unbuttoning a couple of the tops buttons of her shirt as she made her way back to Lena. Mia licked her lips as she saw the older woman, and she walked up to her closing the distance between them, wrapping her arms around her as she turned around falling down on the bed, pulling Lena with her, and she flipped them around, “so where were we?” she asked, her lips close to Lena’s, “feel free to let me know. I forgot.”  “It would be my pleasure to do so,” Lena said and Mia smiled at her as she was pulled down, lips crashed together.

You Can Vote Now (Happy Birthday)

“Happy birthday.”  Sam blinked, taking the scene in front of him in, he hadn’t expected something like this. Not the balloons, the cake, and both Maya and JJ, he knew that Maya would have been there since he was supposed to meet her at the station. There had been some cryptic text from JJ earlier, he had understood the happy birthday part in it, but he hadn’t expected to see her today. But it was a great surprise. He ran up to both of them and pulled them in for a hug.

“Y’all,” he began as he pulled back, “you didn’t have to do all of this.” “It’s not that often someone turns 18,” JJ replied, and smiled at him, “you can vote and join the military.” “Yeah, but I still can’t drink or rent a car,” Sam replied and laughed, “or at least not here.” He smiled at everyone. “So who is taking me to Europe as my present?” “Sam!” Maya yelled and slapped the back of his head, “you’re not getting a trip to Europe.”  “Fine, I’ll just ask your girlfriend, she’ll take me,” he replied, and looked over at Carina, “right?” She nodded her head, “see. also if you tell her no,” he turned to JJ, “I’ll just ask yours and she’ll take me or pay for a trip.” “Just get him the cake,” JJ said, and ran her fingers through her hair, and she looked over at Maya, “and who told him about that trip,” she whispered, “I know I didn’t,” her eyes were on Maya, the whole time. “I didn’t, feel free to start profiling to try and see if you can figure it out,” she replied, “or he just made one of his stupid jokes.” Sam heard the last part of Maya's sentence as she was about to bring a couple of pieces of cake over to them, “and I was being nice bringing you cake, and you insult my jokes, ask around, I’m hilarious 100% of the time.”  “Sam,” JJ sighed, “just eat your cake, and have a happy birthday, and look forward to your 21st in three years.” Sam smiled, and nodded his head and took a bite of the cake, “happy birthday to me.”

Baby, it's cold outside

“Take my jacket, it’s cold outside.” Nathan pulled the jacket off, and placed it over Haley’s shoulders. “Don’t give me that look.” “Nathan, keep the jacket.” 

She pushed the jacket off her shoulders and handed it back to him, and Nathan shook his head. “Hales,” he began and looked at her, “I can tell that you are cold, and that you need it, so take it.” He didn’t really mind, he knew that the air was cool, but he still had his shirt, and he tried to be a good guy and offer Haley his jacket, but she seemed too stubborn to take it. “Nathan.”  He felt her eyes on him, and a small breath left his lips as he looked over at her. “Let’s not fight about this, just take my jacket, it’s cold, and I’m not freezing and you are.” He had no idea why she didn’t want to take his jacket, “and if you don’t take it tell me why?” Nathan took a look at his jacket, and he couldn’t tell what was so wrong with it, was it because it was his, or because it just happens to have been his letterman jacket. “It’s not like I’m giving it to you, to wear all the time, it’s until you get home,” he huffed, rolling on his feet, hands in the pockets of his jeans, “tell why you won’t wear it and I’ll try and accept.” “Please, don’t.” Those words were all it took for him to get why she didn’t want to wear it, it was because of what kind of jacket it was, he felt hurt and angry, it wasn’t like he was letting anyone use it, he was pretty sure he had never really let anyone else wear it. “Whatever, freeze out there if that’s what you want.” He could hear a voice in his head telling him welcome back asshole, and there wasn't really anything he could do about it.

Cousin verse

This is a big crossover verse between Criminal Minds, Glee and Station 19. I will post a lot of this verse, it's something that is under development, and there is a posibility that more shows will be added in as the verse grows. As of now it's called cousin verse until I come up with a better name

This is what you need to know

Sam Evans, Jennifer "JJ" Jareau and Maya Bishop is all cousins, on their mothers side.

As for ages, Sam is about 10 years younger than Maya, and Maya is about 10 years younger than JJ.

Sam and his family has moved to Seattle

Focus will be on their relationships with each other, but there will be romatic relationships too for all of them, Marina and Jemily, as for Sam, well he hasn't found his person yet.

There is no set timeline, it will jump around in time, but I will do my best to remember to note when it takes place.

There will be canon events incorporated in this verse
