Could you give me a list of shops in the Hogwarts area?
You probably mean Hogsmeade! Here is every shop, with a short description about it!
Baby Witch -a shop for baby stuff
Brews and Stews Café- A cafe
Dervish & Banges - a helpful shop and sells and repairs some magical instruments.
Dogweed and Deathcap - a Herbology shop.
Dominic Maestro’s - a music shop.
Gladrags Wizardwear - a clothing shop that also sells very lurid socks, including ones that scream when they get too smelly.
Hairdressing salon - across the street from Honeydukes.
Hogsmeade Post Office - the owl post office.
Hogsmeade Station - the railway station.
Honeydukes - a sweet shop that has the entrance to a secret passageway into Hogwarts in its cellar.
J. Pippin’s Potions -Famous potion shop
Pedrus Pridgeon
Madam Puddifoot’s Tea Shop - “the haunt of happy couples”, according to Harry Potter. Usually couples go there on dates.
The Magic Neep (I think it’s a shop of turnips, or things that are very green)
McBloom & McMuck -Unknown
McHavelock’s Wizarding Headgear -Famous Wizarding Headgear shop
Ollivanders Wand Shop - local branch of the wand shop.
Potage’s Cauldron Shop - local branch of the cauldron shop.
Scrivenshaft’s Quill Shop - a shop for all types of quills.
The Shrieking Shack - an infamous and the most frightening building in Britain. The villagers thought it was haunted, but they didn’t know it was actually the werewolf Remus Lupin making the scary noises (it was where he went to transform).
Spintwitches - a shop that sells sporting goods.
The Hog’s Head - a dingy pub owned by Dumbledore’s brother, Aberforth Dumbledore, which hosted a secret passage into Hogwarts created by the Room of Requirement.
The Magic Neep - a greengrocer’s.
The Three Broomsticks Inn - a pub owned by Madam Rosmerta.

Wiseacre’s Wizarding Equipment - local branch of the magical devices shop.
Wizarding Wireless Network Headquarters - main headquarters of the popular radio station.
Zonko’s Joke Shop - a famous joke shop.

Could you suggest some fcs for a Hogwarts-age Rubeus Hagrid?
Well, based on this picture of him when he was younger, here are a few options that come to mind:
Miles Teller [26] — Could play 16/17-26
Gabriel Basso [19] — Could play 15-19
Callan McAuliffe [19] — Could play 15-19
Colin Ford [17] — Could play 14-17
Joe Dempsie [26] — Could play 17-26

Justin Kelly [21] — Could play 16-21
Dylan Everett [19] — Could play 14-17
Sam Earle [20] — Could play 15-19
Of course, it might help to add a description to his biography talking about his height/weight, considering he’s supposed to be half giant. I hope this helps!

could you recommend alternative FCs for a young Severus Snape other than Louis Garrell?
Personally, Louis Garrell is one of my favorites, but here are a few other options that might work for you:
Ezra Miller — 21 [Could play 16-21]
Kieran Culkin — 31 [Could play 18/19-28]
Alex Arnold — 21 [Could play 16-21]
Jeremy Allen White — 22 [Could play 16-21]
I’m afraid those are the only ones I can think of other than Louis, but I hope those help!

Hi I was wondering if you knew of any master lists or master posts in regards to playing a witch. I don't mean like one in the Harry Potter world, but more like one in fairy tales (both good and bad witches/white vs black magic) Thanks again in advance for your time :)
I can’t really find a lot of masterlists. But here is one for you.

Alright, kids, pull up your chairs. It’s time to do some math.
I know, I know. A lot of us aren’t so great at math. But not to worry, this is basic math. No number greater than twelve. And really you just need to know your months, so I know you’ve got this.

Regarding Death Eaters & Dark Marks.
It is nearly impossible to conceal the Dark Mark, as it is created by dark magic and would not be easy to hide. It is unlikely that a concealment charm would work to mask it, as we are shown in the books that former Death Eaters still wear theirs and cannot be rid of them. One example of this can be found in the passage in GoF where Barty Crouch Jr. (disguised as Alastor Moody) says the following:
“‘Course Dumbledore trusts you. He’s a trusting man, isn’t he? Believes in second chances. But me — I say there are spots that don’t come off, Snape. Spots that never come off, d’you know what I mean?”
Snape then proceeds to instinctively grab his left arm, where the Dark Mark would be. From this, we can assume that it is highly unlikely and perhaps even impossible for a Death Eater to conceal their mark using magic, and therefore this is something roleplayers should keep in mind when writing a character of the sort. However, some ways that it may possibly be temporarily concealed include clothing, makeup, bandages, etc, though it would also be a bit suspicious for someone to constantly walk around with a visible bandage on their left arm, and makeup tends to fade.
Overall, it is inaccurate to make it so that your character can conceal their Dark Mark at will. The Dark Mark is used as a means to show one’s allegiance and unashamed loyalty towards Lord Voldemort, and being able to conceal it entirely would go entirely against its purpose.

Would you like to incorporate Quidditch into your Harry Potter roleplay? Have a character who's favorite hobby might involve a broom? You've come to the right place! Below is a masterlist of Quidditch tricks found in Quidditch Through the Ages, as well as a few links that may help you as you venture through the world of Wizarding Sports.
BEATER MOVES
Bludger Backbeat — A move by which the Beater strikes the bludge a backhanded club swing, sending it behind him or her, rather than in front. Difficult to bring off with precision but excellent for confusing opponents.
Dopplebeater Defence — Both Beaters hit a bludger at the same time for extra power, resulting in a Bludger attack of greater severity.
KEEPER MOVES
Double Eight Loop — A Keeper defense, usually employed against penalty takers, whereby the Keeper swerves around all three goal hoops at high speed to block the Quaffle.
Starfish and Stick — The Keeper holds the broom horizontally with one hand and one foot curled around the handle, while keeping all limbs outstretched.
CHASER MOVES
Hawkshead Attacking Formation — Chasers form an arrowhead pattern and fly together towards the gaol posts. Highly intimidating to opposing teams and effective in forcing the other players aside.
Woollongong Shimmy — Perfected by the Australian Woollongong Warriors, this is a high-speed zigzagging movement intended to off opposing Chasers.
Reverse Pass — A Chaser throws the Quaffle over one shoulder to a team member. Accuracy is difficult.
Parkin's Pincer — So named for the original members of the Wigtown Wanderers, who are reputed to have invented this move. Two Chasers, close in on an opposing Chaser and either side, while the third flies headlong towards him or her.
Porskoff Ploy — The Chaser carries the Quaffle upwards, leading opposing Chasers to belive that he or she is trying to escape them to score, but then throws the Quaffle downwards to a fellow Chaser waiting to catch it. Named after the Russian Chaser Petrova Porskoff.
SEEKER MOVES
Wronski Feint — The Seeker hurtles towards the ground pretending to have seen the Snitch far below, but pulls out of the dive just before hitting the pitch. Intended to make the opposing Seeker copy him and crash. Named after the Polish Seeker Josef Wronski.
Plumpton Pass — A seemingly careless swerve that scoops the Snitch up one's sleeve. Named after Roderick Plumpton, Tutshill Tornado Seeker, who eployed the move in his record breaking Snitch catch of 1921. Although many critics have alleged that this was an accident, Plumpton mantained unitl his death that he had meant to do it.
MISCELLANEOUS MOVES
Sloth Grip Roll — Hanging upside down off the broom, gripping tightly with hands an feet to avoid a Bludger.
Translyvanian Tackle — First seen at the World Cup of 1473, this is a fake puch aimed at the nose. As long as contact is not made, the move is not illegal, though it is difficult to pull off when both parties are on speeding broomsticks.
