Headcanon that whenever someone tried to hit on Will. He'd pull out the skull ring from underneath his shirt and say: "I'm engaged."

As a joke, and IT ACTUALLY WORKS. So he uses the method ALL the time, when a new camper tries to hit on him. It becomes muscle memory everytime someone walks up to him with the intention to flirt.

He does it enough for it to spread around camp. Not well known, but Conner hears about the deal and walks over to Nico to ask about his engagement with Will.

And Nico's like: ??? "What engagement." It just eventually turns to a different kind of topic of conversation but whatever.

It's even funnier when a camper walks up to Will who's next to Nico, and she's clearly trying to ask him out. And he pulls out the skull ring and says I'm engaged without thinking, and Nico is WIDE-EYED.

He stays silent about it, but he's thinking about it all the TIME. It's hillarious. Eventually he decides he'll make it offical and actually propose to him, because Will's already deep into the lie so like.

Why not? It'll just make it more true and yeah. That's literally how Will shows off his engagement nowadays. Pulls out the ring and says he's engaged (now officially) despite being sixteen - seventeen. People are bug-eyed hearing about it. 😭

That happens to be the bane of Chiron's existence after a while but they keep going.
