SCP Alternate Universe that involves all fictional worlds
It takes place in an alternate universe in which the SCP Foundation discovers a bunch of parallel realities where every fictional story is real. They designate it as SCP-NULL and believe that it must be terminated and exploited. "Surprisingly", some groups of interests and even some people working with the foundation object to this. This leads to a revolt where some of the people working for the foundation (and SCPs) leave/escape and join the groups that want to save SCP-NULL. Those groups include the Gamers Against Weed and the Serpent's Hand.
The people against the foundation decide the best way to combat this would be to build a portal to try to communicate and warn as many different fictional realities as possible. However the SCP Foundation raided the group, and this leads to the actual plot of multiple storiesâŠ
The stories involved:
First story: It's a SCPxBackroomsXDanganronpa story. There's also going to be other things sprinkled in as well for story reasons.
The name of this story is Two Characters in Search of an Exit.
There were two men escaping into the now broken portal. There was polaricecraps, aka PIC, aka a Gamers Against Weed member and SCP-507, an anomaly who escaped the SCP foundation. The portal glitched and instead of taking them to a fictional universe they're stuck in a place in between reality and fiction(the backrooms). Now they have to find a way to either teleport back to their group or try to find a fictional reality with portal technology. However, they end up bumping into two people who desperately want to escape the backrooms and decide to tag along. Unbeknownst to the duo, they're actually the (fictional) Danganronpa characters Sayaka Maizono and Leon Kuwata. But that's only the tip of the things they find as they learn more about fiction and their own reality.
Yeah... it's pretty complicated... and if I go into more of it we'll end up in spoiler territory.
The way this story is structured is that it follows the group of four trying to explore the Backrooms. However, in between chapters there's going to be intermissions with random glimpses of the past, present, or future events outside of what the four main characters are doing. The prologue, for example, is going to focus on how the SCP foundation started to learn about SCP-NULL's existence.
Second story (not started):
It involves one of ex foundation researchers also escaping through the portal before it broke. It would cover how the researcher Lynda, and a man who claims to be from the real world, Edward, travel through the fictional worlds. They would try to help and warn the fictional realms, try to communicate with the real world, communicate with PIC and 507, and to not die.
I have no idea if I'll ever get a chance to write this story, but you will get glimpses of it in the intermissions of Two Characters in Search of an Exit and in other ways.
Also, I already wrote and in process of posting chapters of a story that that takes several years after Lynda and Edward meet. They get their act together (for the most part) and founded an organization that is in the fictional realm, the Serpent's Heart. Lynda (with the help of fictional mages and scientists) was able to open the portal to the real realm and get back up from the Gamers Against Weed and Serpent's Hand.
In this jump in time, they were in conflict with the SCP Foundation. To make things worse there needed to be a last-minute rescue mission for the fictional realm That's Not My Neighbor. Edward and opossum (a gamers against weed member) were the ones tasked to save them. It was a messy rescue attempt. It also may to turn out to be an even more serious and important mission than they thought.
The fic is: Edward and Opossum Save 20 Cursed Humans(NOT CLICKBAIT!)Â
Third story (possibly the second story): it would be sequel to both stories as they would both collied with the grace of two trains hitting each other. Unsure if I have the time to write the second story (with Lynda and Edward) so this sequel might just be written after two characters in search of an exit.
Original Characters/head canons in this au:
Lynda (The one to get the ball rolling)
Edward (the helper throughout)
opossum (the foil to both)
This will be updated over time.

CONTEXT: This is supposed to be a character description for a character in an SCP au I am working on. The SCP AU in question is about the SCP Foundation finding parallel realities that reflect fictional stories. Various people rebelled(Ex foundation members, Serpent's Hand, Gamers Against Weed ect) and allied together to travel and warn the fictional realms.
Other characters that play important roles and goes into the au and story:
Lynda(1st story)
Edward(2nd story)
Story Opossum Features in:
Edward and Opossum Save 20 Cursed Humans(NOT CLICKBAIT!)Â
Okay! Uh next up is PoI-6892, the grumpy Gamers Against Weed member, opossum.
Okay since this is not an original character this will be written out a bit differently.
For starters I should cover how I approach Opossum in my writing. While I wanted to include Gamers Against Weed(GAW) in my SCP au/stories, I had a bit of a hard time looking up who and what certain GAW members were. I read through the dossier and it gave me a good foundation. However, I still felt like I did not have enough information to go by. So I read through and skimmed the stories involved with the GAW and SCPs created by the GAW. I did get a chance to learn more and more about certain members(Jude(bluntfiend), Esther(lesbian_gengar), Andressa(Gaycopmp4) ect,) HOWEVER!
Ignoring the Dossier, ALL I GOT FROM OPOSSUM WAS THAT THEY HATE KOLALAS AND DON'T LIKE BERNE SANDERS!? (Ok jokes aside theses stories do give me a lot of info all the member's personality and powers). Also, I am not criticizing the SCP writers, It 100% makes sense that all these guys would not want to post their personal stuff online so the SCP foundation can see.
The same also applies to other GAW members, as in I don't have a lot of material to go with when it comes to who they are. So, I decided for some Gamers Against Weed Members, I would give them my own backstories and decided, wouldn't it be interesting if the reason some Gamers Against Weed members were anomalous was because they themselves were either victims of SCPs or were SCPs themselves?
So that's where I went with opossum(and other gaw members). First while looking at the dossier I decided to write my head canons base on what was given. Opossum, has a job in animal handling and is a furry. She also seems to have powers related to animals and mind manipulation(SCP 5273). So with this given info, I decided that she has a dedicated love for(most) animals and the environment. I also decided due to her connections with animals that she would be an actual anthro-opossum. Her human disguise would be a fursuit and she could just pass her body off as a really impressive fur suit. I also imagine some reality benders could also give her a human form as a disguise. Also you may be wondering, how a clearly anomalous person could have a job? Well she works with with Wilson's Wildlife Solutions(a group that deals with anomalous wild life).
As for why she is a human size talking Opossum, that goes into spoiler territory for the fic I have her in. So I will only talk about her past in the last paragraph and I will label it as a spoiler right before I go in.
Fun fact: Opossum was supposed to be a one off joke side character. There was supposed to be a flash back in one of my stories where when the GAW all meet together in person for the first time, opossum takes off the head of her opossom fursuit to reveal another real opossumn head. Then everyone would flip out(except for tiedyeduck and DonDeLillo). That was it. Then I daydreamed how she could play a role in a one-off story I was daydreaming to and now we're here :p.
Personality: Has a dislike for humans due to the mistreatment of animals and vainness, she despises that most humans focus more on how cute or pretty a creature is rather than how it benefits environment or how good a person is. She also hates how they treated her friends and family specifically. Unlike Edward and Lynda, she is brave and more than willing to speak her mind. This leads to her getting into various fights that lead to her gaining multiple scars. Her aggressive nature leads to her isolating herself from other gaw members and leading some to dislike her. However a different side will form for animals, friends, and her family. She will always be willing to fight tooth and nail for the creatures she cares for and may even show a more compassionate side as well.
During the fictional realms: When the groups were finally able to open the fictional realm and form the Serpent's Heart, Opossum focused on dealing with supernatural problems that fictional characters faced. Especially on curses. Throughout this process she is very vocal about hating humans and wanting to help other creatures(curse situations being exceptions). This leads to many people, both fictional and real to feel unnerved by her. However if a life is in danger she will always come to help even if begrudgingly. Through time she slowly warmed up to more humans who weren't GAW and after being called out on her bigotry(Edward) she slowly got better. In Edward and Opossum Save 20 Cursed Humans(NOT CLICKBAIT!) , she mostly keeps her contempt to humans in her head. So that is why in my story she begrudgingly helps the That's Not my Neighbor fictional realm.
Again this is my interpretation of this character. If it turns out there is a story where they're is entirely different, then take this as alternate version of this character in my au.
SPOILERS
What SCP is related to opossum?
Opossum is a human-fae hybrid. In other words she is part of SCP 4000. SCP 4000 is a forest filled with nameless creatures and Opossum's mother is one of them. Opossum didn't mainly want help fiction purely out of the kindness of her heart. She did it so she could save her friends and family from the curse that stole their names. Also in my au SCP 4000 not only takes away the names of the fae but also causes their mind and bodies to deteriorate. So Opossum is racing against the clock. Due to being half human, she is not cursed and is able to leave the forest. She figured that the best way to solve this issue is to go to all the other fictional realms with spells and magic to save her home.

Time for Edward(he also goes by Blue Flare)! This also includes a continuation of Lynda's story. He's the one who helps Lynda in this crazy (and overly complicated) SCP au. He is my other SCP OC for my AU fiction wars story. He is one of the main perspectives of, Edward and Opossum Saves 20 Cursed Humans(NOT CLICKBAIT!). He also might make a future appearance/play a big role in Two Characters in Search of an Exit.
First story(Lynda)
Third story(opossum)
Short summary: Edward is 16 yr old Japanese American from 1952 who discovered he got his girlfriend(16) pregnant. Terrified of the consequences he runs away from home all the while his girl friend and family follow after him. He ends up jumping into a portal created by the SCP foundation and ends up getting reincarnated into dragon in a fictional realm. Due to his unstable existence(both fictional and real), he shifts into the closest fictional realm with a real person, Lynda. She tells Edward she is on a mission to save the fictional realms due to the Foundation trying to attack them Edward decides to help on the condition that Lynda helps him find and check on the wellbeing of his family. Hijinks ensue and he ends up in drama he desperately tried to avoid and in crazy situations.
LONG VERSION:
Life before traveling to the fictional realms: Unlike, Lynda Edward had a rough child hood in his early years. When he was a toddler he had to live in interment camps with his family. After leaving, he faced discrimination, poverty and neglectful parents. However there was a shining light in his life. His girlfriend(who faced her own time period related issues). They both had a mutual love of music and were often rebellious together. However when it was discovered she was pregnant(with twins). Edward abandoned her and ran away not knowing where to go. He then decided to take a leap of faith as he went into a glowing hole in the ground he never saw before. Unbeknownst to him his girlfriend and family followed him.
The place between fiction and reality: When Edward went through the portal, he went to a place created by the foundation. You see when the foundation received Lynda's research and theories, they believe that by sending someone to the fictional realms, (under specific circumstances) could create an instance of SCP- 3812 under their control. They made a pocket dimension that contained multiple portals to different fictional realms. Beside the portals there were control panels that if typed in properly could take you to a more specific fictional realm. Though it was still in the beginnings of development so it might not work as intended. However a consequence of this was that it caused a tear to open in a random time period in the real world, 1952 near Edward. When Edward went in he spent days running and hiding from SCP personnel. He also saw is gf and family doing the same. Eventually he found out that she gave birth and he saw his twin kids. He left them and ran into a random portal without a second thought. Though his past may crawl up to him eventually as his ex and family also went through different portals. Not knowing where to go they just typed in the place and year they wanted to be in 1950s America.
Life in fiction: Since it was random, Edward just end up in My Little Pony: Friendship is magic realm. He go reincarnated as a dragon and grew up into his teens there. As you can tell he is the brother of Ember from mlp. He spent his life there being haunted by nightmares of his past life. Eventually he decides to figure out what it means and due to his mind actively thinking about his past he ended up shifting into the Skyrim realm(due to if having someone from the real realm) and meet with Lynda(they were both 16 at the time). The shift also caused him to regain all of his memories. Lynda told him that she traveled to the realm of fiction to rescue it from the SCP foundation's attacks and experiments. She was also working with other organizations from the real world(Serpent's Hand and Gamers Against Weed) that plan to create a portal back to the real world so Lynda should get back up as well. Lynda, at this point, is able to travel to different fictional realms. Edward decides to help her due to wanting to help his girlfriend and kids.
Life with Lynda: As both Lynda and Edward travel to different worlds, they had their fair share of troubles in the beginning. They were both cowards and would both runaway from danger when they were supposed to help a given reality. Both Edward and Lynda have unhealthy ways of coping with their guilt(Lynda became a workaholic and Edward an alcoholic). They both enabled each other because they both understand each of were dealing with their own demons. However as time went on and as they worked together and helped different worlds, they became more brave and determined. Lynda and Edward developed a brother and sister bond as they rescued each other from near death situations. As they made more friends with fictional characters and made a name for themselves they officially founded a new place and organization. The Serpent's Heart, its main area of operation was in CN City(Cartoon Network City). Eventually GAW and SH were able to open a portal back to the fictional realm to meet up with them.
Fate with family and lead up to the fic Opossum and Edward Save 20 cursed Humans(NOT CLICKBAIT!): Edward did end up meeting with his ex girlfriend and her family. I wont spoil what happened to them but they did end up in a brutal fictional realm. The whereabouts of their kids was still unknown. So they had a truce to find their kids. However, stakes are raised as being any fictional character means possibly being a slasher victim, a saw victim, an evil scientist, a serial killer, ect. Unfortunately the day before Edward was tasked to save the That's not my Neighbor Characters he discovered one of his kids was a victim. This lead to him to fall back to drinking...only for a GAW member, Opossum telling him a fictional realm needed him.
Appearance: Prefers the form of a dragon due to his human form reminding him of his past, however, if he has to be human to not draw attention to himself in a human dominated realm, he tends to wear plain white tee shirts to not draw attention to himself. Pretty lazy and does not put much time into appearance. Since he is from mlp, his dragon form has a sturdy fire proof and pierce proof scales. He can also breathe fire. His dragon form is also only 3 1/2 feet tall due to mlp characters being, well, little.
Personality: Apathetic, lazy, cowardly, however if the situation calls for it he will do the right thing, loves classical music, plays piano, enjoys sports like soccer and baseball, can be a bit sassy and sarcastic, especially towards GAW members, finds them really annoying. Unlike Lynda, is willing to not abide by the rules, this is both beneficial and detrimental. More social compared to Lynda.
OKAY! HOLY COW! THAT'S EDWARD DONE! STAY TUNED FOR OPOSSUM(GAW member).

Rebloging this do to posting a character overview of the assistant researcher in this story. I decided to reveal who this person is, my OC Lynda.
Prologue of Two Characters in Search of an Exit
In the grim and gray prison known as the SCP Foundation, there was a room that occupied seemingly only two people. There was the researcher _____ and assistant researcher _____. There was also a lone desk and chair at the center of the white and empty room. On the desk there was a dull brown journal that complimented the emptiness of the cold room.
The assistant researcher in question, shakingly walked to the desk with a pen in hand. The researcher rolled their eyes at the assistant researcher's hesitation. As the amature walked over to the single desk, they sat down and picked up the journal with the words SCP-423 etched on the cover.
Alright SCP-423, are you ready for your interview?
The assistant researcher wrote down in the journal. They grimaced at their shaking hand and flimsy handwriting. The more experienced researcher looked over the desk. With hawk-like eyes, they wait for a response.
âAw come on guys! You donât have to write in that thing to communicate with me! Let's just chat it up a bit! It has been a while for me to do so.â
The voice emanated from the journal akin to music coming from a radio. The researcher appeared mildly aggravated toward the anomaly. Everyone involved in this project believed that the best way to collect information involved SCP-423 communicating in the written format and not talking out loud. It was only discovered recently that SCP-423 could speak out loud and theyâd prefer the consistency of writing it back to mimic previous interviews.
The assistant on the other hand seemed to be relieved about the casualness of the person they were supposed to interview.Â
The novice foundation worker proceeded to calmly laugh. âOkay! Iâm sorryâŠ. I can just talk to you if my superior allows it. This room will still be able to record our discussion and if that's not enough I can write or type the interview later.â The interviewer looked over to their superior only to wince in fear.Â
The researcher was currently glaring daggers at the newbie. However, before the superior could snap at the assistant, the lax voice spoke yet again.
âThat sounds like a great compromise! Iâll even give you some more info if we speak this way. Sounds like a great trade off ey doc?â
The more experienced researcher rubbed their temples and sighed.Â
âOkay,______, proceed with the interviewâŠâ
The assistant researcher grind nervously. Hoping their suggestion didnât lead toâŠcertain disciplinary actions toward them later.
âAlright I think for my first question we should discuss the elephant in the room. When were you able to speak like this? I mean according to the file you were only able to speak through written words. Now you can talk aloud.â Both SCP personnel waited in silence.
âI believe it started aroundâŠit was hard to pinpoint. Iâd say around the mid to late 2000s.â
Researcher ______ had their eyes widened to the size of plates.
âOkay, look, I didnât show you guys this skill before because I was afraid you would start to see me as more of a threat. Iâm sorry for hiding this from you guys for the past several years. I now know I can trust you people and Iâll be completely honest and useful. So, you won't have to hurt me⊠right? HehehehâŠâ
The novice gave a genuine smile to the panicking journal.
âN-No that's fine! I-I unders-stand your fear, but our best interest involves protecting as many people as possible. That includes you.â
âHaâŠyeah of course⊠Here! Gimme another question.â
âActually this is a follow up. So since you developed this ability, did you notice anything else that was off?â
âNow that you mention it ⊠yes! I didnât notice it at first. It was kind of gradual as I started to realize some odd things happening to the various stories I visited.âÂ
âC-Can you elaborate on this?â The assistant researcher stuttered.
âWell, when I typically travel through stories, it's like I am watching the story rather than truly experiencing these moments. Iâm just there to watch the good stuff basically. It was like being among blatantly fake movie props, backgrounds and manikins with pre-recorded lines implanted in them.â The journalâs voice was somber. A sigh could be heard from the journal. Then the journal continued its mini rant.
âWhenever I go through each story, sure, I could change it to some small extent but the same lines and story beats stayed the same. Heck even when I do make more serious changes to the story it always changes back to its normal self when I leave. The characters donât remember me and were always the same. That's why I used to keep requesting more novels. A man can only have the same conversations and experiences before he goes insane.â Â
The inexperienced researcher gave a sympathetic look to the bland journal. âIâm sorry to hear that. We can get you some more boo-â
âBUT THAT'S THE THING! I donât need that anymore! Ever since I was able to speak to you all I notice that the worlds of these stories seemed more lively.â
âLively? How so?â Now this intrigued the curious assistant researcher.
âHow was it lively?! Oh where to begin?!â The once lax and mildly nervous voice became much more chipper. âIt was basically the exact opposite of what I described before. The places became immediately more vivid and detailed. There was so much more to these worlds than what the stories said about them. For example, if I went to a story that only took place in a forest and I left the forest there would just be a big white void. But, now!? If I left the forest, I could travel to cities, plains, and many other âsettingsâ the story never even mentioned. This isnât even talking about how the âcharactersâ chang-â
âPlease go into detail about the characters.â Researcher _____who was only supposed to spectate the interview, chimed in with a stern and commanding tone.Â
â...Okay? I was gonna do that anywayâŠ?â A hint of confusion is apparent in SCP-423âs voice.
âFor starters the characters started to develop even after the stories? When I visit an old story the changes I made stayed the same. People continued to live after the story ended. People recognized me and I was able to make friends throughout all these old stories.â
Both researchers gave each other an incredulous look. Then the assistent spoke up.
âI-It says in the file whenever you go into a book, the stories always take place at the same time and place. They donât become a sequel. Even after the estimated time frame you experienced the changes there was no time skip in the books. That's not even mentioning that in the stories you inhabited, it wasnât written anywhere that any of the characters recognized you.â
There was a long pause before the book spoke yet again.
âI wish I could tell ya why that is, but I am as beyond confused as you guys! That's not even the weirdest contradiction in the characters or hell even the stories!â
âWhat do you mean by that, Fred?â
â______. You need to refer to the anomaly by its number.â
âOh r-right! Sorry! SCP-423 can you talk about these contradictions? Also did these inconsistencies happen after you changed?â
âWell for instance, remember the book ________? All the characters somehow survived. Which is weird because when I initially visited, a lot of people were killed off. It was really disorienting because when I came back they still recognized me and were confused when I asked them about their deaths. Then there's _____ his personality was a complete one-eighty. Heâs a lot more kind and he stayed that way even when I left the story. We kind of became friends after that. Also, yes these contradictions did appear around when my changes happened.â
âDoes this apply to any other characters or stories you've encountered?â
âAlmost all of them. Sometimes the characters and story stayed the same. Other times the characters had small changes in their personality, appearance and even actions. Then sometimes the changes were so drastic, it felt like they were entirely different people.â
The book fell silent as if in deep thought.
âIâve seen so many new sides and layerâs to these people and places. I donât know what happened to cause these fictional stories to become more life-like. Perhaps something orâŠsomeone did something to breathe life into them around the mid to late 2000s.â
The tone of the voice sounded joyful. Like a father seeing his newborn child. Assistant researcher ______ felt the warmth in 423âs voice. It was a fascinating thing to think about.Â
âIs it possible for you to pinpoint a more specific time when you noticed these drastic changes?â
âHMMMMâŠ..I noticed it around maybe the year 2007? But then again that's just a guess. So donât take this as gospel.â
âDid any fictional characters appear hostile towards you or were aware that they are fictional?â
The voice in the journal didnât say anything for the next minute. Then the more experienced researcher calmly grabbed the journal from the desk with a stone cold glare. The less experienced interviewer looked towards the interrogator with pleading eyes.
âWAIT! Sorry for not responding, it's just that I spend so much time with SO many fictional stories. Itâs honestly hard to keep track. Besides, the answer is no to both these questions. Yup absolutely 100% true! I didn't tell any of them that they were fictional nor did they tell me. So Iâm 150% sure they are COMPLETELY harmless to you and this amazing foundationâs goals.â
If the man in the journal could smile sweetly, the assistant researcher is more than willing to bet that that is what the anomaly is doing. The other researcher sighed and harshly pulled the assistant away from the desk to the door. Then, the researcher looked over to the lone journal on the desk.Â
âAlright SCP-423 this concludes the interview. We will discuss your punishment for withholding such information.â
The assistant researcher oddly came to the journalâs aid.
âW-Wait! It's not SCP-423âs fault! They were just worried about-â
âThat's enough _____! Your lackluster work has already gotten you into enough trouble to be-â
The journal spoke yet again.
âNow come now doc she did give you guys some insightful info. Also please let me have more interviews with the newbie. Heck she should probably interview more people. She has a good vibe to her.â
The superior didnât say anything as they ushered the inexperienced assistant out of the room.
All ______ could do was mouth the words thank you to the anomaly. Both personnel were searched for written material to make sure they didnât accidentally have the anomaly as a stowaway. Then the assistent proceeds to stutter at the researcher.
âDid I at least not doâŠawful?â _____ closed her eyes in fear.
Researcher ____ looked at the new personnel.Â
âYou were passable now ____, go back to _____âÂ
She sighed in relief âA-Alright⊠Researcher _____â
However as the assistant walked down the foundationâs halls, she heard Researcher____ barking orders at the scientists responsible for studying 423.
âChange that SCPâs experiment log and file. We cannot raise suspicion to outsiders. Perhaps we can make it sound like SCP-423 wants the stories to play out normally. Also check the lie detector in the interrogation room. I suspect that SCP-423 lied when he answered the last two questions. â
______ Sighed and kept walking. She looked down at her hand that was covered in an odd patchwork of human skin and reptile scales. She could try to be more assertive to help SCP-423, but researcher______ would know that her input would be too biased.

Ok time for the long ass character overview and backstory. This is Lynda, my SCP OC for my SCP au/fiction wars stories. So far, she only made brief appearances in the stories I wrote. However, she plays a massive role in getting the ball rolling.
Very brief backstory: Lynda was a cowardly and morally grey anomalous researcher assistant who discovered fictional realities in the SCP universe. She told the SCP foundation and regretted it immediately. She escapes and tells The Serpent's Hand and GAW about the fictional realms and that the Foundation plans to attack them. They decided to build a portal to the fictional realm, but the foundation attacks them, and Lynda ends up in a random fictional world (Skyrim) where she is left to accomplish her quest to fix up her mission alone.... OR IS SHE?!
Second Story(Edward)
Third story(opossum)
LONG VERSION:
Her appearance and anomaly: Lynda is an anomalous person who was raised by her normal human grandparents. Her anomalies are that she has a patchwork of scales throughout her body. Whatever part is covered by scales also acquire snakelike qualities (Ex: scales over lips=snakelike teeth/tongue) She can also turn into a more snakelike creature (a giant snake with arms, think of the dnd creature Yuan Ti abomination). She can also turn into a regular snake and has the ability to absorb knowledge through touching writing. Her primary snake form takes after an anaconda but also has traits from different snakes as well (Ex: fangs and venom). Due to her having snakelike traits, her hair is thinned and stringy (mammal DNA clashes with reptile). She knows that her mom was human but has no idea who her dad is.
Personality: skittish, cowardly, shy, kind, affectionate, socially awkward, loves sharing knowledge and learning, people pleaser, dedicated law abider, model student, workaholic, perfectionist, prefers being in snake form but is pressured to be in her more human form, loves sightseeing and traveling, loves Disney movies and movies with happy endings, hates power scaling, has a fear of carnivorous mammals (yes that includes cats and dogs), filled with guilt over the things she did in the foundation. Often pours herself into her work in a desperate attempt to undo her mistakes. Her fears often get in the way with this sometimes. At the beginning she disliked the GAW and Serpent's Hand due to some of their actions being lethally reckless.
Life before the foundation: She lived a relatively happy and normal life with her grandparents, despite her anomalies and not knowing much about her family. She has bullies but she also has a few friends (Friends grew up to be Gamers Against Weed members) as well. Her grandparents are familiar with the anomalous and the SCP Foundation, so they gave her an amulet that made it so that whenever someone saw her, they'd think what she has is just a skin condition. However, she ends up losing her amulet when she was ten and the foundation found her and took her under containment soon after.
Life after the Foundation: To say Lynda had an unpleasant experience, it would be a massive understatement. She was given bare bones living conditions and had to undergo various testing and experiments. One of which led to her losing her left leg (below knee). However, there was one researcher who vouched for her potential, Penelope Gore. Due to Lynda's ability to absorb knowledge she was a very fast learner and promising researcher at a young age. Both Lynda and Penelope soon figured out that if Lynda could provide valuable research, she could be deemed too valuable to conduct possibly dangerous tests on her. Lynda and Penelope decided to look into pataphysics (study of narrative anomalies). Lynda was almost in a trace like state as she was heavily, drawn to learning about fiction. She looked into SCP-423, SCP-647, SCP-2614 and even SCP-507. She looked into interviewing SCP 423(an entity who can insert themselves into books) do to noticing odd behavior coming off of him. She also looked into SCP -507(reluctant dimension hopper) due to him possibly teleporting to worlds that reflect fictional settings. All of this led to her discovering the fictional realms. Parallel realities that reflect all fictional stories. She decided to look into portals and teleportation as a result.
The Deal with the Devil: Lynda knew that if she gave the research to the foundation, it would most likely be to the detriment of all fictional creatures. These would include kidnapping, experimenting and possibly terminations of all realties due to the perceived dangers. However, her fear overtook her, and she turned in her work. She would no longer be a monster to be poked and prodded at. She was person finally worthy of respect. Lynda tries to rationalize her actions over several months. Such as thinking the fictional characters were just like ai and that they were just fake people. She did this when she was 15.
The Consequences and Escape: The foundation did the things Lynda has dreaded. The straw that broke the camel's back was when SCP- 507 confronted her about it due to him worrying for his fictional friends. When her friends from the GAW try to rescue her for the second time (first time rescue she refused to go because she afraid the foundation would hunt her down) she relents, brings 507 with her, and escapes with her friends. Possibly given the D-class treatment be damned.
The rescue of the fictional realm: Despite Lynda's reservations to work with the Serpent's hand and GAW, she relents that this is the best choice she has at the moment. Using her knowledge of teleportation, portals and fictional realms, she, and a few other GAW members with similar skills decide to build a portal in the wanderer's library. However, the Foundation found them and Lynda had no other choice but to go into a portal and gets sent into a random fictional realm that takes place in a fantasy setting (Skyrim). While she is in Skyrim, she learns more about conjuration and teleportation in a magical college (Winter hold). She also learns magic to help defend herself. She able to go to this college by showing her previous knowledge and was willing to test out the student's spells on herself. And so, she is left by her lonesome to save the realm of fiction (OR IS SHE!?)
Appearances in my written stories so far: She is mentioned a lot in my fanfic, "Two Characters in Search of an Exit", she also Appears in the first intermission/prologue of the same story. She is the assistant researcher of that story. Penelope is the researcher. Also, she may or may not appear again in that story latter. For the fic , "Edward and Opossum Save 20 Cursed Humans (not clickbait)" she was the one who alerted Opossum (a GAW member) to rescue the fictional characters from That's Not my Neighbour. Also, if I ever had the time, I would love to write a story where she travels around the fictional realms and helps and warns them.
Alrighty got her done!(sort of...) Now time to get the person who helped her. Edward! Thats right I am going to(try) to draw and a write about Edward! Yes, the same Edward from "Edward and Opossum Save 20 Cursed Humans (NOT CLICK BAIT)". This would also be somewhat of a continuation from Lynda's story do to him meeting Lynda a few months after she traveled to the fictional realm.
Also please feel free to as any questions about this scp au/character. I am planning to post more about this au and its characters like Lynda.

Summary : After the train-wreck that is Edward's rescue mission, he decides to call for help. More specifically he requests people from any fictional realm with experience with transformation magic to help him. Both the best and worst case scenario happens.
Though that may indirectly lead to the Serpent's Heart rescuing another That's not my Neighbor character.
Time for Henry to get traumatized in this chapter. Also this is where more characters from different fictional media appear. Such as Laios from Dungeon Meshi!
...
Okay so like 10% of the reason why Henry is traumatized might be because of Laios.Â

Two G.A.W. members trapped between two different realities must find their way to SCP- NULL. What is SCP-NULL? Well itâs what the SCP Foundation wants you to think it is, nothing. And they will do everything in their power to make it nothing. However it is not nothing. It is what some people may argue(G.A.W.,sentient SCPs, Serpentâs hand) definitive proof that the SCP Foundation has gone too far. SCP-NULL is fiction itself and the G.A.W.(among others) will do everything in their power to protect it. However due to a tragedy, only two members of G.A.W. made it partially to the realm of fiction with nothing but their thoughts. Are there any G.A.W. survivors that didnât go through the portal? They saw [________] go through the portal as well, did she make it to the realm of fiction? And of course, why the hell are there Danganronpa characters in the Backrooms?!
Hey guys I also posted a new chapter for two characters in search of an exit.

Things were going relatively well for the Serpents Heart. Multiple fictional realms seem secure and prepared for any attack from the SCP Foundation and many folks both real and 'fictional' were taking it easy as they enjoyed the first few days in a while without an attack. The same a cannot be said for one Serpent's Heart member, Edward, bad news after bad news lead him to spend his day dwelling on his sour circumstances in totally healthy ways as his mood rotted. Well, at least he can spend these days peacefully as he wallowed in self pity. No more missions involving him traveling to a crazy dimension like the Regular Show one and end up in a hospital again. Right?
Yeah, no.
âOkay, we donât have much time. Iâm giving you a code phrase. If I say, âOh, you gotta be kidding me!â then I want you to take them to the storage room. If I don't say that, then I want you to take them to the nearest police station in their reality.â
âO-Okay?â Edward has no idea why Opossum would want to do this. However, she clearly knows a hell of a lot more about this mission than he does.
Oh well, at least it was only 20 powerless humans that needed rescue. Right?
Nope a curse had to ruin an easy mission as well.
Hey so uh decided to take a break from Two Characters in Search of an Exit to write a âââââShortââââââ story that to takes place in the same universe. More is explained in the first chapter, so you guys wonât get confused. Also, yeah if you have seen my like and follow history, you can tell I am currently hyperfixated on TNMN.Â
Also, this story was inspired by @rootinteen âs fic Nightmare Shift and the drawings of @annkhr. Please check both of their works itâs great.
