The Los Angeles Devils are one of the hottest teams on the scene. In spite of their brief stint in limbo, there wasn’t a championship game they hadn’t played, and no tournament they hadn’t won. They work hard, and some, play even harder. They’re led by their charming and headstrong coach, Grant Fox. He’s been in the business long enough to know just how this world works and what it takes to be not only a winner but a legend. He took up the mantle after Pete Davenport sadly passed away in 2018.

The team spiraled for a while, with the loss of their protector and two vital members of their team players began talking about stepping away, speaking with other teams. For a while the Devils fate seemed blurry and many were unsure of how they’d bounce back. At least until Grant stepped up. Earning their trust wasn’t easy and neither was earning their respect but his first and main priority was dusting off the Devils legacy and putting them back on the map.

They’ve done charity events, street ball tournaments. Meticulously planned events and conferences to restore the community’s faith and loyalty to the team which earned their funding back as well. Meanwhile the Devil Girls haven’t skipped a beat. With the messy fallout with a few OG members, the death of their former director Olivia Vincent and a soft rebrand that led to the current director Shay Fox the Devil Girls stumbled but remained on top.

A new season is emerging and with that the power struggle has begun. While few originals remain, the thirst for the number one spot remains both with the players and the dancers. A web of lies, deceit, money and violence envelopes this group. Once you’re in, it’s hard to get out. Fans buy the tickets, fill the seats and while they stay for the game everyone knows who they’re really there to see and even the players can’t deny that’s where their attention is before the game.

Shay runs a tight ship. She takes no one’s crap and answers only to herself. Her girls are priority one, everything else comes second. As a former Devil Girl herself, who better to run the team? She and Grant are a power couple navigating the chaos around them while trying to protect their teams. The players are working on rewriting history, presenting a squeaky clean image while being not so squeaky clean. And the girls? Not much has changed. Just a few new faces and higher stakes.
