So if you're wondering where Rogue Element was, it's been in the backburner while I was working on this! It's my contribution to an event held by r/FanfictionExchange and the theme for this one was Fate and Luck.

I couldn't resist putting Fenfang in the spotlight for this one. Wallowing in the great fortune of living to see the post-apocalypse. ~900 words, T-rated, warnings for survivor's guilt and thoughts of suicide/infanticide.

Right is Sabellian, dragonborn storm sorcerer. A nobleman who prefers the company of books and tea despite looking like That. The one time he left home, he gets mind flayer'd.

Ended up downloading Baldur's Gate III instead of WWE 2K (Tav content in the near future!), but i got some mileage out of my Fallout 4 before it was uninstalled.

Can't wait for when the cycle repeats and I reinstall it in three years' time!

i hate how you get desensitized to the cool stuff in your WIP if you've been writing it for a long time so when you read back over it you're like "this isn't as cool as i thought :(" but it still is! you just read it too many times

Finished up with the Fallout series and I liked it! Definitely had a good time despite me not having any initial interest or expectations. More than anything, I just like that there's some relatively positive buzz about Fallout, hope that translates to more eyes on my fic more newcomers to the series. My unorganized thoughts with spoilers below

So off the bat, the plot and story feels very complicated and all over the place. This is a good thing, complicated journeys with no easy answers is peak Fallout for me, and I personally think they've done a good job in translating the experience as a TV show. The gore really helps in that respect, thanks for not skimping out on the Bloody Mess perk.

I still think the cyclical nature of the wasteland with never-changing war resulting in no tangible progress for humanity is not doing it for me, but since it's literally the main theme of the franchise, so be it. RIP to the NCR, though seeing the ruined skyline light up after cold fusion powers everything up is 10000% my jam. It hit harder for me than the Vegas shot at the end.

Character work is stellar, I love every single one of these fucked fuckers and they will be my blorbos in the weeks to come. Lucy McLean I need you.

I don't know why I was expecting it to be a 1-season wonder, but now I'm on board in seeing where the story goes from here. What they've added to the lore so far, while not something I'm going to be using in my fics, interests me.
