Been a customer since YNAB 4. Love the product. Been using it for about 3 years. Here's why I love the product: 1. No more CC debt, took 3 years but got rid of over 12k in debt. Plus we only have 1 CC instead of 3. 2. No CC debt means we are 60% to our savings goal to move across the country a month ahead of time. 3. Healthy relationship with our finances. Wife and I now have weekly budget meetings (this took a while to happen). 4. Here's the big one, account reconciliation means I have an every other day relationship with my account balances. This relationship happens with the auto import feature. Because of this feature I was able to catch fraudulent charges on my account. I don't know if I would have caught them as fast on YNAB 4, but I do know that I may have never caught them before YNAB. Thank you for YNAB and all the great features you have implemented over this past year.

Thank you for a year of on target budgeting....it was hard to learn your program but once I "got it" after a lot of help and trial and error, I realize it's simply the best program out there. We are about to retire and are meeting all our financial goals with the help of YOUneedabudget. I also love your support videos and friendly staff who have helped me a number of times in the beginning. Our thanks to your team

I love this program! I have never had a budget and until now with YNAB, I spent money on the most ridiculous things. My spending has changed because I think twice about my purchases. I don't want to have a high amount on gas station food when that money could be better spent on items with more value. The program makes me feel better about myself and takes away a lot of guilt because of my pre-set categories allowing me to make certain expenditures.

By using YNAB and being more connected to every dollar that goes into and out of my accounts, I actually feel like I'm getting ahead financially: no lingering credit card debt, savings slowly growing, and I'm not scrambling every month to pay my bills. It's an amazing feeling and I credit YNAB completely. Done gushing now. Thanks again!

Liking YNAB so far. It was recommended by friends who use it and I find it better than Mint which I was previously using. Mint was a good tracking tool, but it never had me invested like your tool does. A win so far this week: I actually kept money transferred to savings for an upcoming trip instead of re-transferring out of savings to cover expenses that were avoidable! I'm liking the accountability this requires, it makes me less impulsive to spend! Thanks!

You guys are amazing! That's exactly why we abandoned the forecasting. We always felt like we were missing the mark and it was a big bummer even though we make good incomes. We are in the habit of paying everything on credit and usually just buy whatever whenever. This is going to be a big change for us and I'm grateful I stumbled upon YNAB when I was googling Quicken. It's way easier to use. I'm used to spreadsheets so that's been an adjustment, but I'm open minded and feeling hopeful and in control. Best customer service :) thanks again.

I feel like my small wins are BIG wins. I can definitely tell the difference between how I used to feel about my finances and how I feel now. Obviously, since I'm only a week in, I have some growing to do with YNAB, but I already feel in control. It's a very empowering feeling and I love using the program. I get excited every time new money comes in so I can assign those dollars to a category. It's fun!

I love this product. I will be purchasing it in full once the trial is up (let's face it, thrifty means letting the free period run its course). I appreciate all the tips so far, and though we have some work to do, budget-wise, I can already see big differences in how I look at our finances (I honestly haven't paid much attention to it in YEARS, letting my wife handle everything).

My list of victories... and there have been many more than I was expecting so soon after using it. 1. Didn't go to my favorite clothing store even though they were having an amazing sale because it wasn't a priority in my budget. 2. Found a recurring payment on my credit card that I had forgotten about as it got lost in my monthly balance that I just paid every month. Fortunately I can cancel it. 3. Focused decisions on what to do with money in my savings account - yes I can afford to go on a holiday and do some minor repairs around the house. 4. Moved money budgeted from groceries so I could buy a decorative accent for the house that I admired a year ago. I love YNAB

So far I am really enjoying YNAB and I'm very hopeful that this will help my husband and I manage our money better. Since I've started I've been careful with how much money I spend at the store, we usually grocery shop aimlessly and hope for the best. This is helping me to realize I should stick to a budget in order to reach my goals and get rid of our debt. Looking forward for what's to come

I am a web developer and I provide support for my companies web projects I write. I love your project. The concept is so well done, the support is so well executed, and the goals are clear and helpful. Every time in the past 8 months I have said "I wish I could..." and then searched your help. There it was. Thanks for the great product. I only wished I had joined sooner. I get a lot of complaints in my job, but I rarely get compliments from the happy people. Here is your compliment from a very happy dude.

Most of all I love the security that comes from knowing my finances are under control - I can see clearly when big bills are coming up and know that part of my money is being set aside for these bills. It's really liberating knowing I can pay all this off on time when it comes, and have money to spare for holidays!

I don't typically write directly to companies unless I absolutely hate their product -- rest assured that my purpose of contacting you guys today under much different circumstances. Over the past few years I had been struggling with my credit card debt. While it was a small amount (about $6k), I went into this repetitive cycle of paying an amount equal to what I spent for that month. The result was that this debt never diminished, and I was carrying the balance (and paying interest) month to month in an endless and vicious cycle. I happened across your product when I decided that 2017 was time to start getting my finances in order and also saving up for an engagement ring. The most important things about YNAB that helped me the most was 1) being able to prioritize where I spend my money and give every dollar a job. I was able to see all my fixed expenses (i.e. bills, mortgage, etc) and then put everything else into categories based on what mattered the most. 2) I only budget the money I have on hand -- no more "guesstimating" in my mind (I was typically wrong and spent more than I had coming in) and I know immediately when I go over in a category and can re-allocate budgets on the fly. My goal for January 2017 was to eliminate my debt and I have extremely happy to say that I've accomplished that in just 17 days. Goal for next month: Start saving and aging my money! I guess what I'm trying to say is thank you for doing what you do -- I'm sure that your product has helped many people like it did for me. Thank you!
