Ice cream from the city is weird. Omori thinks to himself as he stands in front of the roadside stand selling a myriad of different flavors. Chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, green tea, cannoli... sea salt? Charcoal?

The boy stares at the menu, empty eyes and lack of color on his body unnerving the poor vendor behind the counter.

...It didn’t help that he tried to pay the man in clams earlier. He doesn’t quite know how currency works.

You should no longer exist.

SUNNY had no need for you anymore.

Why do you still exist?

OMORI looks at his surroundings with a blank face. This is not Headspace. This can’t be any place near Faraway Town either. Where is this? Why is this? Questions he will likely never hear any answers for, from the looks of things—not like the boy isn’t used to leaving things up in the air. While it is somewhat... disconcerting that he finds himself not erased from existence, Omori simply cannot find it in him to be worked up over the finer details.

He simply still is. But what of Sunny? There is no connection with him to be felt anymore. That is the one thing that the empty boy wonders about, out of all the concerns that he could possibly feel. Perhaps this is some unusual fate. Who knows?

And yet, all the boy does is walk. Mindlessly, like a wandering machine, not giving any greater thought to the surroundings around him. Except, for one thought.

This place is too big.
