This is not like a fully completed thought but yk

So I've done my first aid + CPR a few times. And every single time I try and bring up scenarios for fat folks

Specifically like 'what if someone is too large for me to wrap my arms around then to do the heimleich'

And its incredibly rare I get a decent answer.

How absolutely insane is it that me, as a fat person, is asking how to have MY life saved or to save ANOTHER life, is an impossible feat if someone is fat.

Most of the time they tell me to 'just try anyways uwu'

There has got to be a better option.

These two are the main characters of a little novel I’ve been writing on the side for fun. I started it as NaNoWriMo project last year and have been slowly chipping away at it since. It’s been a nice place to escape to and scream about the current state of things and just dump lots of neurodivergent, asexual feels.

Arioch the Naga, Partner to Maple the Harpy, he is a dull grey Copperhead Naga

Xytl the mist spirit

I couldn't decide on an official outfit for him, so enjoy Nudity Mist (albeit, everything was censored beforehand for the tumblr gods)

Xytl is an angelic mist spirit of vengeance, and lives on a secluded southern isle with his partner. He is territorial and often sends back unwanted visitors, and puts repeat visitors he doesn't like on missing lists. He's very stoic and quiet, however remains level headed even in the worst of situations.

Frigus I've had since I was *looks at scribbled writing on hand* 14 I think?

Frigus needs clothed so this is his pattern ref. Frigus comes from the far north tundra of the continent, not far from the lands the harpies once occupied. He moved south with them in a desperate move to stay connected, as he lacked friends or connections with those of his own kind. He once had a lighthearted crush on maple when they were growing up together, however it fizzled out as they got older.

Frigus is a bit overly optimistic and can't see the danger for what it is as he believes all those like humans are good at heart, even if they're taking advantage of him.
