HISTORICAL FACTS CONCERNING THE QUEERS

MESOPOTAMIA: 

In Mesopotamia a goddess called Inanna (later known as Ishtar) was served by transgender priests called kurgarra and/or galatur. Often considered neither female nor male and played roles in religious rituals. 

Texts such as the Almanac of Incantations contained prayers for both opposite (Hereosexual/striaght) and same-sex couples, leading to the conclusion of a cultural acceptance for both. 

EGYPT:

SOUTH ASIA:

In Southern Asian cultures, Hijras have been recognized as a third gender for centuries, holding significant roles in religious and social ceremonies, such as blessings at birth and weddings.

CHINA: 

During the Han dynasty (202 BCE - 220 CE), male same-sex relationships were documented and in some cases celebrated. Notably one famous tale involves Emperor Ai and his lover Dong Xian. The emperor, not wanting to disturb Dong Xian who had fallen asleep on his sleeve, cut it off rather than wake him up. This story led to the phrase “the passion of the cut sleeve,” symbolizing male same-sex love in Chinese culture. 

JAPAN:

In pre-Meiji Japan (before 1868), nanshoku (“male colors”) referred to male same-sex relationships, which were often accepted and even encouraged, especially among the samurai class and Buddhist monks. Though they were often seen as a form of mentorship and deep emotional connection. 

ENGLAND:

Princess Seraphina, a prominent figure in London’s queer subculture, known for her appearances in drag and involvement in “molly houses” —social spaces for gay men.

In 1394, Eleanor Rykener, a trans woman working as an embroideress and sex worker, was arrested in London. Her court case provides an interesting view on gender and sexual identities in medieval England.

Thoughts on Nikita Blackheart

I think he could beat Tolyev in a fight but just never did out of fear or respect. Think about it. At his strongest Nikita would have the advantage of duskdancer blood not to mention even Gabriel said that Nikita was the best swordsman.

Also the Forever King 100% called him Niki and therefore I think we should as well :3 (ForeverHeart)

Empire of the Vampire/Damned thoughts

Okay so I've been reading Empire of the Vampire/Damned by Jay Kristoff and its truly the best book I've ever read. LIKE OMG.

Why do I like it????? GAY CHARACTERS (written correctly, yes I am targetting Shara J Maas {dont write us unless you can do it correctly!})
