At WTSC our member groups are based on the five main factions in Santa Columba:

The Slayer Organisation

Founded by Buffy Summers and her friends following the destruction of Sunnydale in 2003, the Slayer Organisation has offices all across the world. The main office is located in Santa Columba (as of 2006), with the majority of the “higher ups” being based in the town. The Organisation is still lead by Buffy Summers and her friends; with Buffy, Willow, Xander and Giles acting as the heads of each branch. While the Slayer Organisation is known primarily for training slayers, they also train witches, Watchers and other support personnel.

Wolfram & Hart

A well known international and interdimensional law firm that serves as the front operation for the Wolf, the Ram and the Hart, a cabal of powerful demons also known as the Senior Partners. Wolfram & Hart were responsible for the fall of LA and are hoping to spread the effects of HelLA and convert the west coast of the USA into a demonic paradise. The Santa Columba branch was established in 2007 and has been one of the tallest buildings in town. While their primary goal is to complete the will of the Senior Partners, Wolfram & Hart is still a law firm. Apart from the Legal Department, the firm also has jobs in: the Entertainment Division, the Real Estate Division, the Practical Science Division, the Research & Intelligence Division, Internment Acquisition, Human Resources, and the Special Projects Division.

The Underground

Technically the oldest of the factions (Angel Investigations owe their escape to the Underground), the Underground is also most casual. Run by the mysterious Broker, the Underground serves as the hub of the supernatural community in Santa Columba. The Underground primarily focuses on community outreach; reuniting families divided by the Fall of LA, acquiring hard to source items, protection wards, charms, potions, etc. The Broker acquired the old smuggling halls in 2006 and established his base of operations in what became known as the Great Hall. The two remaining halls were transformed into the Tavern Hall and the Market Hall soon after. Many who join the Underground do so because they have stalls in the Market or work in the Tavern.

The Army

The United States Army have long known about the supernatural. When LA fell to demons, the Army were some of the first with boots on the ground to help rescue civilians and fight the forces of evil. Once the Army established the HelLA Exclusion Zone, they established Checkpoint Inferno in late 2005. While there are still regular patrols along the wall, the main focus is placed on the singular gate in and out of the Exclusion Zone. While there is still the occasional escaped demon, the main activity they get is from members of the Slayer Organisation and the Underground going into HelLA.

Civilians

The regular, normal folks. Civilians live out their lives vaguely aware of the factional battles occurring around them, but may or may not overly care what happens. Most will only hear the rumours, while some will hear more from friends or family who are involved. Civilians may be courted to join any of the factions, especially those who may possess a particular skill useful to the cause.
