Okay, so sigma (in my verse, it's different for everyone) means someone's secondary gender presentation is similar to that of an alpha. A stereotypical alpha would be territorial, protective, a leader, strong - basically what humans perceive as masculinity.

The presentation could also be physical. Usually, an alpha is taller/bigger than an omega. I am above the average height and weight for an omega, so not only do I present personality wise as alpha, physically I also appear like an alpha.

The resemblance stops at our biological differences. Alphas are not able to become pregnant and do not go into heat like omegas - they are able to impregnate and they go into rut.
