We live in an age of darkness: a world full of fear, hate and intolerance. But in every age, there are those who fight against it.

Stop teaching Islam at schools
I recently watched a video of a woman who converted from Islam to Christianity who said the following:
“I don’t have a problem with teaching Islam in schools. But if you are, teach children the real Islam. Don’t sugar coat the truth about this malicious religion.”
This is my response to that woman:
You want to teach children the truth about real religion? Let’s do the same with the other religions that are primarily taught in schools, like Judaism and your own religion -- Christianity.
Let’s teach children that Jews are told to ‘reclaim’ the Promised land and how there is a war going on as we speak for it. Tell children about what is happening in Palestine, that kids younger than them live in constant fear because of Zionism. Explain to them what is happening there, show to them the pain and suffering, let them hear and see the dying families.
Let’s teach children that Christians went out hunting and brutally murdering Muslims for following a different faith in the Crusades. Tell them that the Vatican told all Christians to join the ‘holy war’ and axe down Muslims in numerous countries. Tell children how they travelled the world just to pillage, rape, rob Muslims and be celebrated when they went back home.
There are so many examples like those above of so many religions, I could probably continue writing for years.
So, annoying lady in that crappy clio, you wanted the truth. You don’t want to sugarcoat it. You want to brainwash children into hating one single religion because of it’s ‘malicious actions’ but completely disregard the fact that all religions have violence. Every ideology, including non-religions, can be manipulated into extremism. Not just Islam. Even the most ‘peaceful’ religions have been contorted into violence. That doesn’t mean that it is right to hold that as an accurate representation of the religion. That doesn’t mean that that aspect is the singular belief of the entire population.
You want to pick and choose shit that you need to fit your ignorant agenda but cry “VICTIM!!” “DISCRIMINATION!!” when the same is done to you.
Disclaimer: I know that these events are not representative of Christianity/Judaism -- it’s simply an example to translate my message.

The statement “what about Christians” when talking about Islamophobia and the attacks Muslims face is the religious equivalent to “#AllLivesMatter”.
Christians are not being heavily stereotyped in such a negative way that they are denied opportunities in significant fields. Christians are not being excessively emotionally, verbally or physically abused or attacked on social media, at work, at school, on the streets. Christians are not being rejected by the countries that adopted them. Christians are not being threatened to be banned from America.
Do not divert the attention that is needed onto a subject that does not require it.
