Character description below.

Ainara Trevalen is an Historian from a well-known aristocratic family in Piltover.

Tho raised in a world of privilege and order she was inspired by her paternal grandmother, a Zaunite woman who never let Ainara forget where part of her bloodline came from. Before her passing she often shared stories of the undercity, its people, their struggle, their resilience, and the history that topside preferred to ignore.

Determined to help bring Zaun's cause to light Ainara traveled to the undercity to conduct her own research. But her idealism quickly clashed with harsh reality. After paying someone to guide her through Zaun she was abandoned in one of the rougher areas. Alone and out of place, she was mugged. Fortunately for her the attackers happened to owe a debt to Silco. Sevika appeared to collect and in doing so unintentionally saved Ainara.

Their first encounter was not exactly friendly, Sevika had no patience for idealistic Piltie nobles wandering into Zaun as if it were a research site. However when access between Zaun and Piltover was cut temperately (after Jinx’s first attack killed a number of enforcers) Ainara had to remain in Zaun longer than expected. Sevika reluctantly allowed her to stay close, perhaps out of caution or perhaps out of a growing curiosity she didn’t care to admit.

Their relationship started tense, but Ainara’s unexpected resilience and determination slowly disarmed Sevika, and eventually what started as wary tolerance gradually became trust, and from that trust a deeper bond began to bloom between them.
